Abstract
This paper supplies a new characterization of the Kapustin Witten equation solutions on $(0,\infty) \times \mathbb{R}^2 \times \mathbb{R}$ that play a key role in Edward Witten's program to obtain the Jones polynomial knot invariants using solutions to the same equation on $(0,\infty) \times S^3$.
