Maximal estimates of the Schrödinger operators with quadratic potential for orthonormal systems

Abstract

We establish an equivalence principle for local mixed-norm estimates for generalized Schrödinger propagators acting on orthonormal systems. Under suitable mixed-norm conditions, estimates for generalized propagators follow from the corresponding free Schrödinger estimates for every summability exponent $1\leβ\le2$. Applications include maximal estimates for Schrödinger equations with time-dependent quadratic potentials and for the special Hermite operator, as well as almost everywhere convergence of the associated densities. For the special Hermite operator, we also obtain a single-function maximal estimate that is sharp up to the endpoint. We construct counterexamples for the Schrödinger operator, by combining single particle and many particle constructions in complementary dimensions, yielding new necessary conditions in an intermediate range of summability exponents.

Compactness of bilinear singular integral with mild kernel regularity

We establish a compact bilinear $T1$ theorem for Calderón-Zygmund operators with mild kernel regularity. The exponent obtained here matches the best-known threshold in the sufficient condition for the classical bilinear $T1$ theorem. We also introduce an equivalent unified testing condition WCP$^{*}$.

Wave Packet Density in Local Smoothing: Refinements and Limitations

We study wave packet density estimates in the local smoothing problem for the wave equation. Building on the framework of Gan, He, Li, and Wu, we refine the broad-incidence argument to obtain an improved local smoothing range in even dimensions. We then investigate the limitations of wave packet density methods, showing that genuine geometric obstructions already arise in the Euclidean setting.

A Mizohata--Takeuchi-type estimate for the hyperbolic paraboloid

We prove Mizohata--Takeuchi-type estimates for the Fourier extension operator associated with the truncated hyperbolic paraboloid in $\R^3$. Our main result controls the weighted $L^2$ norm of the extension operator by the $L^2$ mass of the weight over a multiscale family of parallelepipeds arising from $\ell^2$ decoupling for the hyperbolic paraboloid. We deduce this result from a weighted $L^2$ estimate for functions whose Fourier transforms are supported in a small neighborhood of the hyperbolic paraboloid, which we establish using a bilinear refined decoupling estimate.
