Geometric Quantum Discord in Schwarzschild de Sitter Spacetime
Abstract
We investigate geometric quantum discord for massless Dirac field modes in Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime, focusing on the distinct thermal effects of the black hole and cosmological horizons. For pure Bell-type and isotropic initial states, increasing the black hole mass at fixed cosmological constant restores accessible discord, while higher dimensionless frequencies favor its preservation. Inaccessible discord depends on the retained modes: higher frequencies suppress discord involving the inaccessible cosmological mode, whereas the frequency ordering reverses with increasing black hole mass for the inaccessible black hole mode paired with the accessible cosmological mode. For the selected parameters yielding equal initial discord, the two state families exhibit identical discord in sectors containing the inaccessible black hole mode but differ over part of the parameter range in the remaining inaccessible sector. At fixed positive dimensionless frequency, accessible discord returns to its initial value in the Nariai limit, while all three inaccessible discords vanish. These results reveal the interplay between horizon thermal effects, mode selection, and initial-state structure in shaping quantum correlations.
