Complete angular analysis of the decay cascade $B \rightarrow D^{**}( \rightarrow D^*(\rightarrow D π) + π) + W(\rightarrow l ν)$
Abstract
We develop a general algorithm for describing angular decay distributions in cascade decay chains of arbitrary length. The general algorithm is used to study joint angular decay distributions for the cascade decay $B\rightarrow D^{**}( \rightarrow D^*(\rightarrow D π)+π) + W(\rightarrow lν)$ where the $D^{**}$ is a generic $P$-wave charm meson state. Lepton mass effects are fully incorporated
