Octet and Decuplet Baryons in the Hadronized Nambu--Jona-Lasinio Model with Proper Spin Projection
Abstract
Octet and Decuplet baryons are described within the hadronized NJL model as diquark--quark states, which are bound by quark exchange. Including scalar and axial--vector diquark correlations, we project the previously obtained relativistic Faddeev equation in a Poincaré invariant fashion onto good spin, using a static approximation to the exchanged quark. The resulting equations for the spin 1/2 octet and the spin 3/2 decuplet are solved numerically.
