New limits on the $β^{+}$EC and ECEC processes in $^{120}$Te
Abstract
New limits on the double beta processes for $^{120}$Te have been obtained using a 400 cm$^3$ HPGe detector and a source consisting of natural Te0$_2$ powder. At a confidence level of 90% the limits are $0.19\times 10^{18}$ y for the $β^+$EC$(0ν+ 2ν)$ transition to the ground state, $0.75\times 10^{18}$ y for the ECEC$(0ν+ 2ν)$ transition to the first 2$^+$ excited state of $^{120}$Sn (1171.26 keV) and $(0.19-0.6)\times 10^{18}$ y for different ECEC($0ν$) captures to the ground state of $^{120}$Sn.
