Fully Supersymmetric Hierarchies From A Energy Dependent Super Hill Operator

Abstract

A super Hill operator with energy dependent potentials is proposed and the associated integrable hierarchy is constructed explicitly. It is shown that in the general case, the resulted hierarchy is multi-Hamiltonian system. The Miura type transformations and modified hierarchies are also presented.

Equations of Geodesic Deviation and the Inverse Scattering Transform

Solutions of equations of geodesic deviation in three- and four- dimensional spaces obtained by the inverse scattering transform are considered. It is shown that in the case of three-dimensional space solutions of geodesic deviation equations are reduced to solutions of the well-known Zakharov-Shabat problem. In four- dimensional space system of geodesic deviation equations is associated with $3\times 3$ matrix Schrödinger equation, and dependence on parameters defined by the nonlinear equations of three-wave interaction.

Collision of two solitons of the Manakov system is analytically studied. Existence of a complete polarization mode switching regime is proved and the parameters of solitons prepared for polarization switching are found.

On the bilinear equations for Fredholm determinants appearing in random matrices

It is shown how the bilinear differential equations satisfied by Fredholm determinants of integral operators appearing as spectral distribution functions for random matrices may be deduced from the associated systems of nonautonomous Hamiltonian equations satisfied by auxiliary canonical phase space variables introduced by Tracy and Widom. The essential step is to recast the latter as isomonodromic deformation equations for families of rational covariant derivative operators on the Riemann sphere and interpret the Fredholm determinants as isomonodromic $τ$-functions.
