Plummer Dark Matter Black Hole with Topological Defects: Shadow, Greybody Factors, Quasinormal Modes, and Thermodynamics

We construct a static, spherically symmetric black hole (BH) solution embedded in a cored Plummer dark matter (DM) halo and a Letelier cloud of strings (CoS). Starting from the Plummer-Schwarzschild metric of Senjaya et al.~\cite{Senjaya2026}, we incorporate the string-cloud tension parameter $α$ into the lapse function, obtaining $A(r) = h_{\rm Plummer}(r) - α$. The resulting spacetime admits a single, non-degenerate event horizon (EH) for $α< 1$ and a naked singularity for $α\ge 1$. We determine the photon sphere (PS) and BH shadow radii, compute the weak deflection angle via the Gauss-Bonnet theorem (GBT), and analyze the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO). Scalar perturbations are studied through the effective potential, greybody factor (GF) bounds obtained from the Boonserm-Visser method, the Hawking emission spectrum, and quasinormal mode (QNM) frequencies computed with the WKB approximation. The thermodynamic analysis covers the Hawking temperature, Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, heat capacity, and Gibbs free energy; the heat capacity is found to be strictly negative for all parameter values, confirming the absence of any Davies-type phase transition. A consistent hierarchy emerges across all six analyses: the CoS tension $α$ governs the leading-order modifications to every observable, while the Plummer halo density $ρ_0$ provides a subdominant, additive correction.

$P$--$V$ criticality, Joule--Thomson expansion, and holographic heat engine of charged Hayward-AdS black holes with a cloud of strings and perfect fluid dark matter

We construct the charged Hayward-anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole (BH) with a cloud of strings (CS) and perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM), and analyze its extended thermodynamic phase structure. The Hayward parameter $g$ replaces the central singularity with a de Sitter (dS) core, while the CS parameter $a$ and the PFDM parameter $β$ encode astrophysically motivated matter content. Treating the cosmological constant as pressure, we derive the thermodynamic quantities, verify the Smarr relation, and establish $P$--$V$ criticality with a van der Waals (vdW)-like small-large BH phase transition and mean-field critical exponents. The Gibbs free energy (GFE) exhibits the characteristic swallowtail below the critical pressure. The Joule-Thomson (JT) expansion yields $T_i^{\rm min}/T_c \approx 0.247$, roughly half the Reissner--Nordström-AdS value. The parameters $g$ and $Q$ contract the cooling region, $β$ expands it, and $a$ reshapes it non-monotonically. A holographic heat engine with a rectangular cycle gives efficiencies $η= 0.362$--$0.396$ and Carnot benchmarking ratios $η/η_C = 0.625$--$0.791$ across six configurations. The CS parameter improves the engine efficiency by reducing the enthalpy at fixed thermodynamic volume, while the PFDM parameter degrades it by adding gravitational enthalpy without contributing to the mechanical work.

Aharonov-Bohm Effect for Cooper Pairs in Kerr Spacetime: Gravitomagnetic Phase Shifts from Frame Dragging

The unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity remains among the most profound challenges in fundamental physics. Here we investigate a novel quantum probe of strong-field gravity: the gravitomagnetic Aharonov-Bohm (AB) effect for Cooper pairs propagating in Kerr spacetime. The frame-dragging induced by a rotating black hole (BH) generates an effective vector potential through the off-diagonal metric component $g_{tϕ}$, which couples to the macroscopic phase of the superconducting condensate. We derive the gauge-invariant AB phase shift $Δθ= (4πm^* Ma/\hbar)(1/r_2 - 1/r_1)$ for an interferometer with arms at radii $r_1$ and $r_2$, where $m^* = 2m_e$ is the Cooper pair mass and $a$ is the BH spin parameter. Remarkably, the predicted phases reach $|Δθ| \sim 10^{24}$ radians for Sgr~A* and $\sim 10^{27}$ radians for M87*, reflecting the enormous gravitomagnetic flux near supermassive BHs. We analyze the dependence on interferometer geometry, demonstrate that tidal disruption of Cooper pairs is negligible at distances $r \gtrsim 10\,r_s$, and establish connections to the geometric Berry phase. Although direct experimental realization remains beyond current technology due to the vast distances involved, our framework provides quantitative predictions linking quantum coherence to spacetime curvature, complementing recent observations of gravitational AB phases in atom interferometry.

Probing the Charged Hayward Black Hole in Dark Matter and String Cloud Environments through Shadow, Geodesics, and Quasinormal Spectrum

We construct a charged Bardeen black hole (BH) surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM) and coupled to a cloud of strings (CS). The metric function combines the magnetic monopole charge from nonlinear electrodynamics, the PFDM logarithmic correction, and the CS parameter that renders the spacetime asymptotically non-flat. We analyze the horizon structure, identifying parameter ranges yielding non-extremal BHs, extremal configurations, and naked singularities. The null geodesics, photon sphere radius, and shadow are computed, revealing that both CS and PFDM enlarge the shadow. For neutral particle dynamics, we derive the specific energy, angular momentum, and innermost stable circular orbit location. Quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) are examined through the azimuthal, radial, and vertical epicyclic frequencies, where notably the azimuthal frequency is independent of the CS parameter. Scalar field perturbations governed by the Klein-Gordon equation yield an effective potential whose peak decreases with both parameters, yet the transmission and reflection probabilities respond oppositely to CS and PFDM variations. The greybody factor bounds are obtained using semi-analytical methods. Our results demonstrate that the distinct effects of $α$ and $β$ on various observables could allow independent constraints on these parameters through shadow measurements, QPO timing, and gravitational wave ringdown observations.

Effects of spontaneous Lorentz Symmetry breaking on Letelier-AdS charged black holes within Kalb-Ramond gravity

In this study, we investigate the geodesic motion of massless particles -- specifically photons -- in the spacetime of a charged anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole (BH) surrounded by a cloud of strings (CoS) within the framework of Kalb-Ramond (KR) gravity. We analyze the effective potential that governs photon trajectories, explore the properties and location of the photon sphere (PS), and examine the effective radial force acting on photons. The resulting BH shadow is also studied, highlighting the roles of both the CoS parameter $α$ and the KR field parameter $\ell$ in shaping its geometry. We constrain these parameters using observational data from M87* and Sgr A* obtained by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). Furthermore, we extend our investigation to the motion of neutral test particles in the same gravitational background. By examining the impact of the CoS and KR field, we show how these additional fields modify the dynamics relative to standard charged BH scenarios. Finally, we study the fundamental frequencies associated with quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) of test particles, demonstrating how these frequencies are affected by the presence of the CoS and KR field. Our results reveal the rich structure of AdS-BH spacetimes influenced by string clouds and antisymmetric tensor fields, with potential observational consequences in gravitational wave and BH imaging astronomy.

Optical appearance, Hawking radiation, and Barrow thermodynamics of Letelier black hole in electromagnetic universe

We present an investigation of a static, spherically symmetric Letelier black hole (BH) immersed in an electromagnetic universe (EMU), characterized by the cloud of strings (CoS) parameter $α$ and the EMU parameter $a$. The photon sphere and shadow radius are derived analytically, revealing how both parameters modify the apparent BH silhouette compared to the Schwarzschild case. We extend the shadow analysis to homogeneous and inhomogeneous plasma environments, demonstrating systematic reductions in the observed shadow size, and compute the weak gravitational lensing deflection angle in plasma using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. The perturbative dynamics are investigated for scalar, electromagnetic, and Dirac fields, with quasinormal mode frequencies obtained via the sixth-order WKB approximation and greybody factors calculated using the rigorous bounds method. The resulting Hawking radiation spectra reveal distinct signatures for bosonic and fermionic emission channels. We further analyze quasi-periodic oscillations by deriving the fundamental orbital frequencies and applying both parametric resonance and relativistic precession models, obtaining constraints from observations.

Born-Infeld signatures in AdS black hole thermodynamics and gravitational lensing

We investigate the thermodynamic and optical properties of Einstein-Born-Infeld-Anti-de Sitter (EBI-AdS) black holes (BHs). Our study derives the Hawking temperature using standard surface gravity methods and examines quantum corrections through both the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP) and exponential entropy modifications, showing enhanced thermal radiation and potential remnant formation scenarios. The gravitational redshift analysis separates contributions from mass, cosmological constant, electromagnetic charge, and Born-Infeld (BI) corrections, with the latter scaling as $a^4/r^6$ and thus confined to near-horizon regimes. Using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we calculate light deflection angles in both vacuum and plasma environments, demonstrating how dispersive media can either enhance or suppress nonlinear electrodynamic signatures depending on observational configurations. The thermodynamic analysis in extended phase space, where the BH mass corresponds to enthalpy, reveals phase structures with heat capacity transitions between positive and negative values, indicating regions of local stability and instability sensitive to parameter choices. We study BH heat engines operating in rectangular thermodynamic cycles, achieving efficiencies of $η\sim 0.11$--$0.21$ that reach 30--61\% of the corresponding Carnot limits, consistent with other AdS BH systems. Comparison with Johnson's analysis confirms that BI corrections to heat engine efficiency are of order $10^{-12}$ for typical parameter ranges, though these effects become appreciable in the strong-field regime where $r_h \lesssim 1.5$ in Planck units. The plasma deflection analysis reveals frequency-dependent refractive modifications encoded in the plasma parameter, offering additional possible observational channels.

Letelier black hole immersed in an electromagnetic universe

We investigate a static, spherically symmetric black hole solution surrounded by a cloud of strings and immersed in an electromagnetic universe. By deriving the event horizon from the lapse function, we demonstrate that both the string cloud parameter and the electromagnetic background parameter significantly modify the horizon radius compared to the Schwarzschild case. Consequently, thermodynamic quantities-including the Hawking temperature, Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, and heat capacity-become explicit functions of these additional parameters, with the heat capacity exhibiting divergences that signal phase transitions. We analyze the motion of massive test particles in this spacetime, deriving the effective potential and calculating the innermost stable circular orbit radius, which governs the inner edge of accretion disks and influences orbital stability. Scalar perturbations are examined through the associated effective potential, and quasinormal mode frequencies are computed using the sixth-order WKB approximation; the negative imaginary parts confirm the stability of the black hole under such perturbations. We also study the photon sphere structure, black hole shadow radius, and photon trajectories, showing how the interplay between string clouds and the electromagnetic background shapes the optical properties of this spacetime. Finally, we investigate weak gravitational lensing phenomena by deriving the deflection angle for both massive particles and photons using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem applied to the optical geometry. The results exhibit notable deviations from the Schwarzschild geometry, with the string cloud enhancing the deflection through a $(1-α)^{-1}$ factor while the electromagnetic parameter introduces competing corrections at second order.

Comment on "Black hole in Dehnen $(1,\,4,\,\frac{1}{2})$ dark matter halo: exact solution, lensing, light ring, and thermodynamics (EPJC 85 (2025) 1256)"

In a recent article, the author of Ref. [EPJC 85 (2025) 1256] constructed an exact solution describing a static, spherically symmetric black hole embedded in a Dehnen-($α, β, γ$) type dark matter halo with the parameter choice $α=1,\,β=4,\,γ=1/2$. The author first derived the density profile, which was subsequently integrated to obtain the mass profile, and this mass profile was then employed in constructing the exact metric solution. In this comment, we demonstrate that both the density profile and the mass profile obtained in Ref. [EPJC 85 (2025) 1256] contain fundamental mathematical errors that invalidate the subsequent analysis.

Kerr-Bertotti-Robinson Black Holes Surrounded by a Cloud of Strings

In a recent study [1], authors introduced a new class of exact space-times in Einstein's gravity, which are Kerr black holes immersed in an external uniform magnetic field that is oriented along the rotational axis. Motivated by this work, we investigate a Kerr-like black hole solution with a cloud of strings surrounded by a uniform magnetic field. For the zero rotation case, the space-time reduces to the Schwarzschild-Bertotti-Robinson black hole with a cloud of strings. Moreover, for zero magnetic field, the metrics simplify to a Kerr-like black hole surrounded by a cloud of strings, and its static counterpart reduces to the Schwarzschild black hole with a cloud of strings.

Astrophysical Constraints on Charged Black Holes in Scalar--Tensor--Vector Gravity

We explore charged black holes in Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity (STVG), unveiling their distinctive features across multiple physical domains. Our topological analysis reveals that the STVG coupling parameter $α$ bolsters thermal stability while electromagnetic charge $Q$ weakens it. Using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we find that $α$ amplifies light deflection and enlarges shadow silhouettes, with $Q$ generating opposite effects. Our quantum-corrected models with exponential entropy terms pinpoint phase transitions in the microscopic regime, modifying conventional thermodynamic relationships. Calculations of strong gravitational lensing, shadow geometry, and Hawking emission show clear STVG signatures that diverge from Einstein's predictions. Notably, our accretion disk analysis uncovers an intriguing phenomenon: specific combinations of $α$ and $Q$ can produce radiation patterns resembling spinning Kerr black holes, creating potential identification challenges for observers. These findings establish concrete observational tests for STVG theory through next generation astronomical imaging and lensing campaigns. By connecting theoretical predictions to measurable quantities, we outline specific pathways to confirm or constrain STVG using data from current and future space telescopes.

Perturbations and Greybody Factors of AdS Black Holes with a Cloud of Strings Surrounded by Quintessence-like Field in NLED Scenario

The discovery of gravitational waves and advances in black hole imaging have opened new opportunities to probe exotic physics in strong-field regimes. Building upon a recent black hole solution in Einstein gravity coupled with nonlinear electrodynamics and exotic matter sources-specifically a cloud of strings and a quintessence field--we study the perturbative dynamics, thermodynamic behavior, and quantum transmission characteristics in anti-de Sitter spacetime. The black hole, defined by its mass, nonlinear magnetic charge, string cloud, and quintessence parameters, exhibits modified spacetime geometry, horizon structure, Hawking temperature, and effective potentials governing field propagation. We derive Schrödinger-like equations for massless scalar, electromagnetic, and fermionic perturbations, exploring how these sources jointly shape the potential barriers. The Hawking temperature shows strong dependence on the horizon radius and nonlinear charge, differing markedly from asymptotically flat cases due to the cosmological constant. Greybody factors, describing Hawking radiation transmission probabilities, are computed for all field spins via turning point analysis. A notable result arises in the fermionic sector: positive and negative helicity modes attain maximal transmission at distinct quintessence normalization values, revealing helicity-dependent coupling absent in bosonic channels. This asymmetry suggests a potential observational signature of spin-exotic matter interactions, offering new insights into detecting quintessence through black hole radiation spectra. Our results extend previous perturbative analyses by incorporating nonlinear electrodynamics, cosmic strings, and quintessence effects--linking quantum radiation studies to gravitational wave astronomy and early-universe cosmology.

Domain Wall Skyrmions in Holographic Quantum Chromodynamics: Topological Phases and Phase Transitions

We investigate the domain wall skyrmions phase in the framework of holographic quantum chromodynamics (QCD) using the Sakai-Sugimoto model. Building on previous work regarding chiral soliton lattices (CSLs) in strong magnetic fields, we study the emergence of localized skyrmions a top domain walls formed by CSLs. These skyrmions, realized as undissolved D4-branes embedded in the D8-branes, carry baryon number two and exhibit complex topological and energetic features. We explore the interplay between magnetic field strength, pion mass, and baryon chemical potential in stabilizing these configurations and demonstrate the existence of a mixed CSL-skyrmions phase. Through systematic energy analysis, we establish that the domain wall skyrmions become energetically favorable when $μ_B |B| \gtrsim Λ\cdot m_πf_π^2$, with the transition occurring around $μ_B |B| \sim 4.5$ in our holographic framework. Our phase diagram reveals three distinct regions: the CSL phase at low chemical potential and magnetic field, the domain wall skyrmions phase at intermediate scales, and a conjectured skyrmions crystal phase at the highest densities. The instanton density profiles $\text{Tr}(F \wedge F)$ show sharp localization in the domain wall skyrmions phase, contrasting with the smooth, extended distribution characteristic of the pure CSL configuration. These findings provide non-perturbative insights into baryonic matter in the dense QCD and offer a geometrical picture of topological phase transitions via string theory duality, with potential applications to neutron star physics and the broader QCD phase diagram under extreme conditions.

Dynamics of test particles, QPOs and thermodynamics of charged Euler-Heisenberg AdS black holes with a cloud of strings and dark matter

We investigate the geodesic motion of test particles around a charged Euler-Heisenberg Anti-de Sitter black hole (CEH-AdS-BH) with a cloud of strings (CoS) and surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). Our analysis examines how the interplay between Euler-Heisenberg nonlinear electrodynamic corrections, string cloud, and PFDM distributions modifies fundamental BH properties. We study dynamics of both massless photons and massive neutral test particles, deriving the effective potentials and trajectory equations that govern particle motion in this exotic spacetime. The photon sphere analysis shows systematic increases in shadow radii with string cloud parameter variations, while innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) calculations demonstrate competing effects between string-induced gravitational weakening and electromagnetic charge contributions. We examine scalar and electromagnetic field perturbations using the Klein-Gordon and Maxwell equations, establishing the perturbative potentials that characterize wave propagation in the modified background. The scalar perturbative potential exhibits characteristic barrier structures influenced by all exotic matter components, while electromagnetic perturbations show fundamental differences due to their vector nature. Our thermodynamic investigation extends the conventional framework by incorporating additional intensive variables corresponding to cosmic string and perfect fluid dark matter contributions. The specific heat capacity analysis reveals divergence points that demarcate thermodynamically stable and unstable regions, while the Gibbs free energy exhibits modified profiles that extend Anti-de Sitter black hole thermodynamics into new parameter regimes.

Analytic and Numerical Constraints on QPOs in EHT and XRB Sources Using Quantum-Corrected Black Holes

This investigation examines QPOs in two quantum-corrected BH spacetimes that preserve general covariance while incorporating quantum gravitational effects through a dimensionless parameter ζ. We combine analytical derivations of epicyclic frequencies with comprehensive numerical simulations of BHL accretion to explore how quantum corrections manifest in observable astrophysical phenomena. Using a fiducial BH mass of M=10M_\odot representative of stellar-mass X-ray binaries, we demonstrate that the two models exhibit fundamentally different behaviors: Model-I modifies both temporal and radial metric components, leading to innermost stable circular orbit migration proportional to ζ^4 and dramatic stagnation point evolution from 27M to 5M as quantum corrections strengthen. Model-II preserves the classical temporal component while altering only spatial geometry, maintaining constant stagnation points and stable cavity structures throughout the parameter range. Our numerical simulations reveal distinct QPO generation mechanisms, with Model-I showing systematic frequency evolution and cavity shrinkage that suppresses oscillations for ζ\geq 3M, while Model-II maintains stable low-frequency modes up to ζ\geq 5M. Power spectral density analyzes demonstrate characteristic frequency ratios (3:2, 2:1, 5:3) consistent with observations from X-ray binaries, providing specific targets for discriminating between quantum correction scenarios. The hydrodynamically derived constraints (ζ\lesssim 4M) show remarkable agreement with independent EHT limits for M87* and Sgr A*, validating our theoretical framework through multiple observational channels. These results establish QPO frequency analysis as a probe for detecting quantum gravitational effects in astrophysical BHs and demonstrate the complementary nature of timing and imaging observations in constraining fundamental physics.

A Black Hole Solution in Kalb-Ramond Gravity with Quintessence Field: From Geodesic Dynamics to Thermal Criticality

We present a theoretical investigation of black hole solutions in Kalb-Ramond gravity embedded with quintessence fields. Our study examines how combined effects of Lorentz violation through the Kalb-Ramond field parameter $η$ and exotic matter contributions via quintessence parameters $(\mathrm{C}, w)$ systematically modify spacetime geometry, particle dynamics, and observational signatures compared to standard Schwarzschild black holes. The analysis encompasses geodesic motion for both photons and massive particles, revealing substantial modifications to effective potentials, photon sphere characteristics, and innermost stable circular orbit properties. We derive analytical expressions for black hole shadow radii across different quintessence states, demonstrating systematic parameter dependencies enabling observational discrimination between theoretical frameworks. Our perturbation analysis of scalar and electromagnetic fields shows how Lorentz violation and quintessence effects alter wave propagation and stability properties. Using Gauss-Bonnet theorem methodology, we calculate gravitational lensing deflection angles incorporating both modified gravity and exotic matter contributions. The thermodynamic investigation reveals complex phase structures with modified Hawking temperature evolution, Gibbs free energy characteristics, and specific heat capacity behavior significantly deviating from general relativity predictions. Lorentz violation amplifies gravitational effects, whereas quintessence exerts counteractive forces, generating complex parameter spaces allowing precise manipulation of observable quantiti

Quantum-Corrected Thermodynamics and Plasma Lensing in Non-Minimally Coupled Symmetric Teleparallel Black Holes

We investigate the thermodynamic and optical signatures of electrically charged black holes (BHs) in symmetric teleparallel gravity (STPG) with non-minimal electromagnetic coupling, incorporating quantum corrections and plasma dispersion effects. The BH solution, characterized by a coupling parameter $k$, generalizes the Reissner-Nordström spacetime through power-law modifications to electromagnetic terms in the metric function. We implement exponential corrections to the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of the form $S = S_0 + e^{-S_0}$ and derive quantum-corrected expressions for fundamental thermodynamic quantities including internal energy, Helmholtz and Gibbs free energies, pressure, enthalpy, and heat capacity. Our analysis reveals rich phase transition structures with second-order transitions occurring at critical horizon radii for specific coupling values, demonstrating enhanced thermodynamic instability under strong non-minimal coupling effects. The quantum-corrected Joule-Thomson expansion analysis identifies distinct cooling and heating regimes separated by inversion points that shift systematically with the coupling parameter $k$. We analyze the efficiency of heat engines operating in Carnot cycles, finding that electromagnetic charge enhances thermodynamic performance with efficiency values approaching 99\% for optimal configurations in this geometry. Using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, we derive analytical expressions for gravitational deflection angles in both vacuum and plasma environments, revealing how non-minimal coupling and plasma dispersion create frequency-dependent lensing signatures that differ substantially from general relativity predictions.
