Radiative Corrections to Neutrino Deep Inelastic Scattering Revisited

Radiative corrections to neutrino deep inelastic scattering are revisited. One-loop electroweak corrections are re-calculated within the automatic SANC system. Terms with mass singularities are treated including higher order leading logarithmic corrections. Scheme dependence of corrections due to weak interactions is investigated. The results are implemented into the data analysis of the NOMAD experiment. The present theoretical accuracy in description of the process is discussed.

The running of the electromagnetic coupling alpha in small-angle Bhabha scattering

A method to determine the running of alpha from a measurement of small-angle Bhabha scattering is proposed and worked out. The method is suited to high statistics experiments at e+e- colliders, which are equipped with luminometers in the appropriate angular region. A new simulation code predicting small-angle Bhabha scattering is also presented

Radiative muon pair production in high energy electron-positron annihilation process

The lowest order radiative correction to the differential cross-section of process of muon pair production with emission of hard photon at high energy electron-positron annihilation are calculated. Taking into account the emission of additional soft and hard photon the cross-section can be put in the form of Drell-Yan process in leading logarithmical approximation. Applying the crossing transformation we obtain the cross section of radiative electron-muon high-energy scattering process. Virtual and soft photon emission contributions of non-leading form are tabulated for several typical kinematical points. The limit of small invariant mass of muon pair is in agreement with our previous analysis.

Radiative muon (pion) pair production in high energy electron-positron annihilation (the case of small invariant pair mass)

The process of the muon (pion) pair production with small invariant mass in the electron--positron high--energy annihilation, accompanied by emission of hard photon at large angles, is considered. We find that the Drell--Yan picture for differential cross section is valid in the charge--even experimental set--up. Radiative corrections both for electron block and for final state block are taken into account.

Reanalysis of Hadronic Cross Section Measurements at CMD-2

The updated results of the precise measurements of the processes e+e-->rho->pi+pi-, e+e-->omega->pi+pi-pi0 and e+e-->phi->KLKS performed by the CMD-2 collaboration are presented. The update appeared necessary due an overestimate of the integrated luminosity in previous analyses.

Non-singlet splitting functions in QED

Iterative solution of QED evolution equations for non-singlet electron structure functions is considered. Analytical expressions in the fourth and fifth orders are presented in terms of splitting functions. Relation to the existing exponentiated solution is discussed.

LABSMC: Monte Carlo event generator for large-angle Bhabha scattering

A Monte Carlo event generator is presented. An original algorithm is developed to simulate electron-positron scattering at energies and momentum transferred much more than the electron mass. The first-order electroweak radiative corrections are included completely. Higher order corrections are taken into account by means of electron structure functions.

Hadronic Cross Sections in Electron-Positron Annihilation with Tagged Photon

Events with tagged photons in the process of electron-positron annihilation into hadrons are considered. The initial state radiation is suggested to scan the hadronic cross section with the energy. QED radiative corrections are taken into account. The results for the total and exclusive cross sections are given in an analytic form. Some numerical estimates are presented.

QED Corrections to Deep Inelastic Scattering with Tagged Photons at HERA

We calculate the QED corrections to deep inelastic scattering with tagged photons at HERA in the leading logarithmic approximation. Due to the special experimental setup, two large scales appear in the calculation that lead to two large logarithms of comparable size. The relation of our formalism to the conventional structure function formalism is outlined. We present some numerical results and compare with previous calculations.

Violation of the factorization theorem in large angle radiative Bhabha scattering

The lowest order QED radiative corrections to the radiative large angle Bhabha scattering process in the region where all kinematic invariants are large compared to the electron mass are considered. We show that the leading logarithmic corrections do not factorize before the Born cross section, contrary to the picture assumed in the renormalization group approach. The leading and non leading contributions for typical kinematics of the hard process at the energy of the $Φ$ factory are estimated.
