Towards security recommendations for public-key infrastructures for production environments in the post-quantum era

Quantum computing technologies pose a significant threat to the currently employed public-key cryptography protocols. In this paper, we discuss the impact of the quantum threat on public key infrastructures (PKIs), which are used as a part of security systems for protecting production environments. We analyze security issues of existing models with a focus on requirements for a fast transition to post-quantum solutions. Although our primary focus is on the attacks with quantum computing, we also discuss some security issues that are not directly related to the used cryptographic algorithms but are essential for the overall security of the PKI. We attempt to provide a set of security recommendations regarding the PKI from the viewpoints of attacks with quantum computers.

Chaplygin ball over a fixed sphere: explicit integration

We consider a nonholonomic system describing a rolling of a dynamically non-symmetric sphere over a fixed sphere without slipping. The system generalizes the classical nonholonomic Chaplygin sphere problem and it is shown to be integrable for one special ratio of radii of the spheres. After a time reparameterization the system becomes a Hamiltonian one and admits a separation of variables and reduction to Abel--Jacobi quadratures. The separating variables that we found appear to be a non-trivial generalization of ellipsoidal (spheroconical) coordinates on the Poisson sphere, which can be useful in other integrable problems. Using the quadratures we also perform an explicit integration of the problem in theta-functions of the new time.

Generalized problem of two and four Newtonian centers

We consider integrable spherical analogue of the Darboux potential, which appear in the problem (and its generalizations) of the planar motion of a particle in the field of two and four fixed Newtonian centers. The obtained results can be useful when constructing a theory of motion of satellites in the field of an oblate spheroid in constant curvature spaces.

Coupling angle resolved photoemission data and quasiparticle structure in antiferromagnetic insulators Sr2CuO2Cl2 and Ca2CuO2Cl2

We have analyzed the quasiparticle dispersion and ARPES-spectral density for Sr2CuO2Cl2 and Ca2CuO2Cl2 antiferromagnetic insulators along basic symmetric directions of the Brillouin zone (BZ) in a framework of an extended tight binding method (ETBM) with explicit account for intracell strong electron correlations. The quasiparticle dispersion is in a good agreement with ARPES- data. At the top of valence band we found a narrow impurity-like virtual level with the spectral weight proportional to the concentration of spin fluctuations. A pseudogap between the virtual level and the top of the valence band has dispersion similar to 'remnant Fermi surface' in Ca2CuO2Cl2 and to a pseudogap in the underdoped Bi2212 samples. A calculated parity of the polarized ARPES-spectra in (0,0),(pi/2,pi/2),(pi,0) - points in the AFM- phase is even with regard to relative magnitudes of the partial contributions by different orbitals to the total ARPES- spectral density. Conditions of an observability for the different partial contributions in the polarized ARPES- experiments are determined also.

Minimal discrepancies of toric singularities

This is the major revision. The main purpose of this paper is to prove that minimal discrepancies of $n$-dimensional toric singularities can accumulate only from above and only to minimal discrepancies of toric singularities of dimension less than $n$. I also prove that some lower-dimensional minimal discrepancies do appear as such limit.
