The continuity of conditional expectation on Orlicz spaces is investigated. Indeed, we provide some necessary and sufficient conditions on a sequence $\{\mathcal{A}_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ of $σ$-subalgebras for $L^φ$-convergence of the related conditional expectations. Our results generalize similar results in $L^p$-spaces.
In this paper, we introduce and analyze several key dynamical properties-namely shadowing modulo an ideal, expansivity modulo an ideal, and topological stability modulo an ideal-within the framework of uniform transformation semigroups. Given an ideal $\mathcal I$ on semigroup $T$, we investigate the interplay between these properties in compact Hausdorff transformation semigroup $(T,X,\mathfrak{X})$. Our main result establishes that if a compact Hausdorff transformation semigroup exhibits the shadowing property modulo $\mathcal I$ and is expansive modulo $\mathcal I$ then it is also topologically stable modulo $\mathcal I$. This extends known stability theorems in classical topological dynamics to the setting of ideal-constrained dynamics. Additionally, we explore the relationship between shadowing modulo $\mathcal I$ and the conventional shadowing property.
In the following text we compute the adjoint of weighted generalized shift operators over Hilbert spaces. We show for a conjugate invariant subset $A$ of $\mathbb C$, the additive semigroup generated by $A\cup\{0\}-$weighted generalized shifts over Hilbert space $\mathcal H$ is adjoint invariant if and only if $\mathcal H$ is a finite dimensional Hilbert space or $0$ is not a limit point of $A$.
The main purpose of this paper is to study complex valued metric-like spaces as an extension of metric-like spaces, complex valued partial metric spaces, partial metric spaces, complex valued metric spaces and metric spaces. In this article, the concepts such as quasi-equal points, completely separate points, convergence of a sequence, Cauchy sequence, cluster points and complex diameter of a set are defined in a complex valued metric-like space.
In this article, using generalized derivations, we obtain a simple idea to prove the non-commutative Newton binomial formula in unital algebras and then, we extend that formula to non-unital algebras. Additionally, we establish the non-commutative Newton binomial formula with a negative power.
In cuprate superconductors, high magnetic fields have been used extensively to suppress superconductivity and expose the underlying normal state. Early measurements revealed insulating-like behavior in underdoped material versus temperature $T$, in which resistivity increases on cooling with a puzzling $\log(1/T)$ form. We instead use microwave measurements of flux-flow resistivity in YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{6+y}$ and Tl$_2$Ba$_2$CuO$_{6+δ}$ to study charge transport deep inside the superconducting phase, in the low temperature and low field regime. Here, the transition from metallic low-temperature resistivity ($dρ/dT>0$) to a $\log(1/T)$ upturn persists throughout the superconducting doping range, including a regime at high carrier dopings in which the field-revealed normal-state resistivity is Fermi-liquid-like. The $\log(1/T)$ form is thus likely a signature of $d$-wave superconducting order, and the field-revealed normal state's $\log(1/T)$ resistivity may indicate the free-flux-flow regime of a phase-disordered $d$-wave superconductor.
In the cuprate superconductor $YBa_2Cu_3O_{6+x}$, hole doping in the $CuO_2$ layers is controlled by both oxygen content and the degree of oxygen-ordering. At the composition $\rm YBa_2Cu_3O_{6.35}$, the ordering can occur at room temperature, thereby tuning the hole doping so that the superconducting critical temperature gradually rises from zero to 20 K. Here we exploit this to study the c-axis penetration depth as a function of temperature and doping. The temperature dependence shows the d-wave superconductor surviving to very low doping, with no sign of another ordered phase interfering with the nodal quasiparticles. The only apparent doping dependence is a smooth decline of superfluid density as Tc decreases.
There has long been a discrepancy between microwave conductivity measurements in high temperature superconductors and the conductivity spectrum expected in the simplest models for impurity scattering in a d-wave superconductor. Here we present a new type of broadband measurement of microwave surface resistance that finally shows some of the spectral features expected for a d_{x^2-y^2} pairing state. Cusp-shaped conductivity spectra, consistent with weak impurity scattering of nodal quasiparticles, were obtained in the 0.6-21 GHz frequency range in highly ordered crystals of YBa_2Cu_3O_{6.50} and YBa_2Cu_3O_{6.99}.
We present here the microwave surface impedance of a high purity crystal of $YBa_2Cu_3O_{6.99}$ measured at 5 frequencies between 1 and 75 GHz. This data set reveals the main features of the conductivity spectrum of the thermally excited quasiparticles in the superconducting state. Below 20 K there is a regime of extremely long quasiparticle lifetimes, due to both the collapse of inelastic scattering below $T_c$ and the very weak impurity scattering in the high purity $BaZrO_3$-grown crystal used in this study. Above 20 K, the scattering increases dramatically, initially at least as fast as $T^4$.
We have succeeded in growing very high purity (99.995%) YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-delta} crystals in BaZrO_3 crucibles and have measured Delta-lambda(T) and R_s(T) at 1 GHz in crystals with various oxygen treatments. For an oxygen vacancy level of delta=0.007, Delta-lambda and R_s essentially reproduce our previous results and show no sign of the existence of the two order parameter components as recently reported by Srikanth et al. on BaZrO_3-grown crystals. For other oxygen concentrations, we have in some cases observed deviations from the linear low T dependence of Delta-lambda, but never any sign of a second transition.
New measurements of surface impedance in ybco show that the c-axis penetration depth and conductivity below Tc exhibit behaviour different from that observed in the planes. The c-axis penetration depth never has the linear temperature dependence seen in the ab-plane. Instead of the conductivity peak seen in the planes, the c-axis microwave conductivity falls to low values in the superconducting state, then rises slightly below 20K. These results show that c-axis transport remains incoherent below Tc, even though this is one of the least anisotropic cuprate superconductors.
