The interparticle interaction and noncommutativity of conjugate operators in quantum mechanics. $H$-like atoms

A quantum mechanical model for the systems consisting of interacting bodies is considered. The model takes into account the noncommutativity of the space and impulse operators and the correlation equations for the indeterminacy of these quantities. The noncommutativity of the operators is here a result of the action of the interparticle forces and represents a natural generalization of the conventional commutation relation for the space and impulse operators for a single particle. The efficiency of the model is demonstrated by specific calculations concerning several well-known atomic systems.

What evidences the mass distribution in halo nucleus?

Detailed analysis of the distribution of nuclear matter in the halo nucleus $^{11}$Be is performed within the microscopic approach based on the flexible variational basis of the functions of the "polarized" orbitals model. It is shown that the proposed approach reproduces, in agreement with the experiment, the most distinguishing features of the mass distribution in this system. Taking into account the results of specific calculations and the exceptionally high reliability of the experimental data on the nuclear density distribution in the "tail" of $^{11}$Be, we make a conclusion about the existence of new structures with the sizes considerably exceeding the size of the nucleus (up to tens of $fm$) and the density being thousands times less that the typical nuclear one.

Compact and Loosely Bound Structures in Light Nuclei

A role of different components in the wave function of the weakly bound light nuclei states was studied within the framework of the cluster model, taking into account of orbitals "polarization". It was shown that a limited number of structures associated with the different modes of nucleon motion can be of great importance for such systems. Examples of simple and quite flexible trial wave functions are given for the nuclei $^8$Be, $^6$He. Expressions for the microscopic wave functions of these nuclei were found and used for the calculation of basic nuclear characteristics, using well known central-exchange nucleon-nucleon potentials.
