Algebraic and Differential Star Products on Regular Orbits of Compact Lie Groups

In this paper we study a family of algebraic deformations of regular coadjoint orbits of compact semisimple Lie groups with the Kirillov Poisson bracket. The deformations are restrictions of deformations on the dual of the Lie algebra. We prove that there are non isomorphic deformations in the family. The star products are not differential, unlike the star products considered in other approaches. We make a comparison with the differential star product canonically defined by Kontsevich's map.

Teleportation of a state in view of the quantum theory of measurement

We give a description of the teleportation of an unknown quantum state which takes into account the action of the measuring device and manifestly avoids any reference to the postulate of the state vector collapse.

Phase space observables and isotypic spaces

We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the set of Neumark projections of a countable set of phase space observable to constitute a resolution of the identity, and we give a criteria for a phase space observable to be informationally complete. The results will be applied to the phase space observables arising from an irreducible representation of the Heisenberg group.
