Friedmann equations of the fractal apparent horizon

From a fractal perspective, the entropy bound of gravitational systems undergoes changes. Furthermore, in the cosmological setting, the conservation law of a perfect fluid is also altered in such systems, affecting spatial elements like volume, area, and radius. By applying the first law of thermodynamics and deriving the Friedmann equations, we can gain insight into the evolution of such a fractal cosmos. However, observations continue to necessitate the existence of a dark energy source. To address this, in this article, we have created a novel fractal $Λ$CDM cosmological model and determined the fractal cosmological observables. We show that the spatial fractal dimension is two, and the age of the Universe is 13.91 Gyr, by fitting the model's parameters to cosmological data.

The third law of thermodynamics, non-extensivity, and energy definition in black hole physics

Working in the framework of generalized statistics, the problem of establishing the third law of thermodynamics in the black hole physics is studied by focusing on Schwarzschild black hole which easily and clearly exposes the violation of this law in the common approach based on Bekenstein entropy. Additionally, it is addressed that some inconsistencies between the predictions of quantum field theory and thermodynamics about the black hole temperature may be reconciled by using the thermodynamics laws in order to broaden energy definition. It claims that thermodynamics should be employed as a powerful tool in looking for more comprehensive energy definitions in high-energy physics, still mysterious.

Generalized entropy formalism and a new holographic dark energy model

Recently, the Rényi and Tsallis generalized entropies have extensively been used in order to study various cosmological and gravitational setups. Here, using a special type of generalized entropy, a generalization of both the Rényi and Tsallis entropy, together with holographic principle, we build a new model for holographic dark energy. Thereinafter, considering a flat FRW universe, filled by a pressureless component and the new obtained dark energy model, the evolution of cosmos has been investigated showing satisfactory results and behavior. In our model, the Hubble horizon plays the role of IR cutoff, and there is no mutual interaction between the cosmos components. Our results indicate that the generalized entropy formalism may open a new window to become more familiar with the nature of spacetime and its properties.

Static traversable wormholes in Lyra manifold

At first, considering the Einstein framework, we introduce some new static traversable wormholes, and study the effects of a dark energy-like source on them. Thereinafter, a brief review on Einstein field equations in Lyra manifold is presented, and we address some static traversable wormholes in the Lyra manifold which satisfy the energy-conditions. It is also shown that solutions introduced in the Einstein framework may also meet the energy conditions in the Lyra manifold. Finally, we focus on vacuum Lyra manifold and find some traversable asymptotically flat wormholes. In summary, our study shows that it is theoretically possible to find a Lyra displacement vector field in a manner in which traversable wormholes satisfy the energy conditions in a Lyra manifold.
