Three solutions with precise sign properties for Gierer-Meinhardt type system

We establish the existence of three solutions for sign-coupled Gierer-Meinhardt type system with Neumann boundary conditions. Two solutions are of opposite constant-sign while the third solution is nodal with synchronous sign components. The approach combines sub-supersolutions method and Leray-Schauder topological degree involving perturbation argument.

Constant sign and nodal solutions for singular quasilinear elliptic systems

We consider singular quasilinear elliptic systems with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. Using Leray-Schauder topological degree, combined with the sub-supersolutions method and suitable truncation arguments, we establish the existence of at least three nontrivial solutions, two of which are of opposite constant sign. The third solution is nodal and exhibits components of at least opposite constant sign. In the case of a sign-coupled system, these components are of changing and synchronized sign.

Sub-supersolutions method for singular quasilinear systems involving gradient terms

Existence, regularity and location of solutions to quasilinear singular elliptic systems with general gradient dependence are established developing a method of sub-supersolution. The abstract theorems involving sub-supersolutions are applied to prove the existence of positive solutions for convective and absorption singular systems.

Nodal and constant sign solutions for singular elliptic problems

We establish the existence of multiple solutions for singular quasilinear elliptic problems with a precise sign information: two opposite constant sign solutions and a nodal solution. The approach combines sub-supersolutions method and Leray-Schauder topological degree involving perturbation argument.

Existence and location of nodal solutions for quasilinear convection-absorption Neumann problems

Existence of nodal (i.e., sign changing) solutions and constant sign solutions for quasilinear elliptic equations involving convection-absorption terms are presented. A location principle for nodal solutions is obtained by means of constant sign solutions whose existence is also derived. The proof is chiefly based on sub-supersolutions technique together with monotone operator theory.

Multiple solutions to quasi-linear elliptic Robin systems

Two opposite constant-sign solutions to a non-variational p-Laplacian system with Robin boundary conditions are obtained via sub-super-solution techniques. A third nontrivial one comes out by means of topological degree arguments.

Nodal solutions for singular semilinear elliptic systems

n this paper, we prove existence of nodal solutions for singular semilinear elliptic systems without variational structure where its both components are of sign changing. Our approach is based on sub-supersolutions method combined with perturbation arguments involving singular terms.

Singular quasilinear convective elliptic systems in $R^N$

The existence of a positive entire weak solution to a singular quasi-linear elliptic system with convection terms is established, chiefly through perturbation techniques, fixed point arguments, and a priori estimates. Some regularity results are then employed to show that the obtained solution is actually strong.

Singular quasilinear elliptic systems with (super-) homogeneous conditions

In this paper we establish existence, nonexitence and regularity of positive solutions for a class of singular quasilinear elliptic systems subject to (super-) homogeneous condition. The approach is based on sub-supersolution methods for systems of quasilinear singular equations combined with perturbation arguments involving singular terms.
