Contact Dual Pairs

We introduce and study the notion of contact dual pair adopting a line bundle approach to contact and Jacobi geometry. A contact dual pair is a pair of Jacobi morphisms defined on the same contact manifold and satisfying a certain orthogonality condition. Contact groupoids and contact reduction are the main sources of examples. Among other properties, we prove the Characteristic Leaf Correspondence Theorem for contact dual pairs which parallels the analogous result of Weinstein for symplectic dual pairs.

Screen Transversal Lightlike Submanifolds of Golden Semi-Riemannian Manifolds

The main purpose of the present paper is to study the geometry of screen transversal lightlike submanifolds and radical screen transversal lightlike submanifolds and screen transversal anti-invariant lightlike submanifolds of Golden Semi-Riemannian manifolds. We investigate the geometry of distributions and obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the induced connection on these manifolds to be metric connection. We also obtain characterization of screen transversal anti-invariant lightlike submanifolds of Golden Semi- Riemannian manifolds. Finally, we give two examples.

Bi-$f$-harmonic curves and hypersurfaces

In the present paper, we study bi-$f$-harmonic maps which generalize not only $f$-harmonic maps, but also biharmonic maps. We derive bi-$f$-harmonic equations for curves in the Euclidean space, unit sphere, hyperbolic space, and in hypersurfaces of Riemannian manifolds.

$η$-Ricci solitons in $(\varepsilon)$-almost paracontact metric manifolds

The object of this paper is to study $η$-Ricci solitons on $(\varepsilon)$-almost paracontact metric manifolds. We investigate $η$-Ricci solitons in the case when its potential vector field is exactly the characteristic vector field $ξ$ of the $(\varepsilon)$-almost paracontact metric manifold and when the potential vector field is torse-forming. We also study Einstein-like and $(\varepsilon)$-para Sasakian manifolds admitting $η$-Ricci solitons. Finally we obtain some results for $η$-Ricci solitons on $(\varepsilon)$-almost paracontact metric manifolds with a special view towards parallel symmetric (0,2)-tensor fields.
