Meson Spectra using Nikiforov-Uvarov Method

There are many phenomenological potentials using different techniques to describe the spectroscopy of the quarkonium systems like charmonium, bottomonium, Bc meson systems. In the present work, we choose a phenomenological potential (linear, Yukawa, and harmonic potentials) in the framework of the nonrelativistic Schrodinger equation with relativistic corrections using the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. We obtained the eigenfunction and eigenvalue comparing the results with the available experimental data. The results are in good agreement with the available experimental data.

Spin splitting spectroscopy of heavy quark anti quark systems

Phenomenological potentials describe the quarkonium systems like Charmonia, Bottomonia and $B_c$ Meson. They give a good accuracy for the mass spectra. In the present work we extend one of our previous works in the central case by adding spin dependent terms to allow for relativistic corrections. By using non central terms, we get better accuracy than other previous theoretical calculation. In the present work, the mass spectra of the bound states of heavy quarks are studied within the framework of the non relativistic Schrodinger s equation. First, we solve Schrodinger's equation by Nikiforov Uvarov (NU) method. The energy eigenvalues are presented using a non central potential. The results obtained are in good agreement with the experiment and are better than previous theoretical estimates.

Bound state of heavy quarks using a general polynomial potential

In the present work, the mass spectra of the bound states of heavy quarks b and c quarks and the Bc meson are studied within the frame work of non relativistic Schrodinger equation. First, we solve Schrödinger's equation with a general polynomial potential by Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The energy eigenvalues for any L- value is presented for a special case of the potential. The results obtained are in good agreement with the experimental data and are better than previous theoretical studies.

Two body problems with magnetic interactions

In the present work, we present different two-body potentials which have oscillatory shapes with magnetic interactions. The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are obtained for one of those problems using Nikiforov-Uvarov method.

Transscleral Micropulse Diode Laser for Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy

In this study, we introduced a new simple effective technique for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy by the treatment of the periphery of the retina by transscleral micropulse diode laser (Taha Technique). Macular edema was improved and vitreous hemorrhage was disappeared in most of the cases.
