On the extended W-algebra of type sl_2 at positive rational level

The extended W-algebra of type sl_2 at positive rational level, denoted by M_{p_+,p_-}, is a vertex operator algebra that was originally proposed in [1]. This vertex operator algebra is an extension of the minimal model vertex operator algebra and plays the role of symmetry algebra for certain logarithmic conformal field theories. We give a construction of M_{p_+,p_-} in terms of screening operators and use this construction to prove that M_{p_+,p_-} satisfies Zhu's c_2-cofiniteness condition, calculate the structure of the zero mode algebra (also known as Zhu's algebra) and classify all simple M_{p_+,p_-}-modules.

The tensor structure on the representation category of the $\mathcal{W}_p$ triplet algebra

We study the braided monoidal structure that the fusion product induces on the abelian category $\mathcal{W}_p$-mod, the category of representations of the triplet $W$-algebra $\mathcal{W}_p$. The $\mathcal{W}_p$-algebras are a family of vertex operator algebras that form the simplest known examples of symmetry algebras of logarithmic conformal field theories. We formalise the methods for computing fusion products, developed by Nahm, Gaberdiel and Kausch, that are widely used in the physics literature and illustrate a systematic approach to calculating fusion products in non-semi-simple representation categories. We apply these methods to the braided monoidal structure of $\mathcal{W}_p$-mod, previously constructed by Huang, Lepowsky and Zhang, to prove that this braided monoidal structure is rigid. The rigidity of $\mathcal{W}_p$-mod allows us to prove explicit formulae for the fusion product on the set of all simple and all projective $\mathcal{W}_p$-modules, which were first conjectured by Fuchs, Hwang, Semikhatov and Tipunin; and Gaberdiel and Runkel.

Quasi-finite algebras graded by Hamiltonian and vertex operator algebras

A general notion of a quasi-finite algebra is introduced as an algebra graded by the set of all integers equipped with topologies on the homogeneous subspaces satisfying certain properties. An analogue of the regular bimodule is introduced and various module categories over quasi-finite algebras are described. When applied to the current algebras (universal enveloping algebras) of vertex operator algebras satisfying Zhu's $C_2$-finiteness condition, our general consideration derives important consequences on representation theory of such vertex operator algebras. In particular, the category of modules over such a vertex operator algebra is shown to be equivalent to the category of modules over a finite-dimensional associative algebra.

Conformal field theories associated to regular chiral vertex operator algebras I: theories over the projective line

Based on any chiral vertex operator algebra satisfying a suitable finiteness condition, the semisimplicity of the zero-mode algebra as well as a regularity for induced modules, we construct conformal field theory over the projective line with the chiral vertex operator algebra as symmetries of the theory. We appropriately generalize the argument in [TUY] so that we are able to define sheaves of conformal blocks for chiral vertex operator algebras and study them in detail. We prove the factorization theorem under the fairly general conditions for chiral vertex operator algebras and the zero-mode algebras.

Spectral Decomposition of Path Space in Solvable Lattice Model

We give the {\it spectral decomposition} of the path space of the $U_q(\hatsl)$ vertex model with respect to the local energy functions. The result suggests the hidden Yangian module structure on the $\hatsl$ level $l$ integrable modules, which is consistent with the earlier work [1] in the level one case. Also we prove the fermionic character formula of the $\hatsl$ level $l$ integrable representations in consequence.
