Real-Time Motion Correction in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy: AI solution inspired by fundamental science

Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) is a powerful non-invasive tool for metabolic tissue analysis but is often degraded by patient motion, limiting clinical utility. The RECENTRE project (REal-time motion CorrEctioN in magneTic Resonance) presents an AI-driven, real-time motion correction pipeline based on optimized GRU networks, inspired by tagging and fast-trigger algorithms from high-energy physics. Models evaluated on held-out test sets achieve good predictive performance and overall positive framewise displacement (FD) gains. These results demonstrate feasibility for prospective scanner integration; future work will complete in-vivo validation.

ATCA-based ATLAS FTK input interface system

The first stage of the ATLAS Fast TracKer (FTK) is an ATCA-based input interface system, where hits from the entire silicon tracker are clustered and organized into overlapping eta-phi trigger towers before being sent to the tracking engines. First, FTK Input Mezzanine cards receive hit data and perform clustering to reduce data volume. Then, the ATCA-based Data Formatter system will organize the trigger tower data, sharing data among boards over full mesh backplanes and optic fibers. The board and system level design concepts and implementation details, as well as the operation experiences from the FTK full-chain testing, will be presented.

Diboson physics at CDF

At the Fermilab Tevatron, the CDF detector is used to study diboson production in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.96 TeV. We report recent diboson production measurements, limits on anomalous triple gauge couplings and latest results from semi-leptonic diboson searches.
