Degenerations in graded quiver varieties and in derived categories of Dynkin quivers

For any acyclic quiver, Keller-Scherotzke provided a stratifying functor from the category of finite-dimensional modules of the singular Nakajima category to the derived category of the quiver. Under this functor, a degeneration of strata of a graded quiver variety corresponds to a degeneration, in the sense of Jensen-Su-Zimmermann, in the derived category. In this article, for any Dynkin quiver, we further investigate Jensen-Su-Zimmermann's partial order and show that any degeneration of objects in the derived category can be obtained in this way.

From i-boxes to signed words

The combinatorics of i-boxes has recently been introduced by Kashiwara--Kim--Oh--Park in the study of cluster algebras arising from the representation theory of quantum affine algebras. In this article, we associate to each chain of i-boxes a signed word, which canonically determines a cluster seed following Berenstein--Fomin--Zelevinsky. By bridging these two different languages, we are able to provide a quick solution to the problem of explicit determining the exchange matrices associated with chains of i-boxes.

A quantum cluster algebra structure on the semi-derived Hall algebra

Using Hernandez-Leclerc's isomorphism between the derived Hall algebra of a representation-finite quiver $Q$ and the quantum Grothendieck ring of the quantum loop algebra of the Dynkin type of $Q$, we lift the (quantum) cluster algebra structure of the quantum Grothendieck ring to the semi-derived Hall algebra, introduced by Gorsky, of the category of bounded complexes of projective modules over the path algebra of $Q$. We also construct a braid group action on the semi-derived Hall algebra, lifting Kashiwara-Kim-Oh-Park's braid group action on the quantum Grothendieck ring.

Solution of a Problem in Monoidal Categorification by Additive Categorification

In 2021, Kashiwara-Kim-Oh-Park constructed cluster algebra structures on the Grothendieck rings of certain monoidal subcategories of the category of finite-dimensional representations of a quantum loop algebra, generalizing Hernandez-Leclerc's pioneering work from 2010. They stated the problem of finding explicit quivers for the seeds they used. We provide a solution by using Palu's generalized mutation rule applied to the cluster categories associated with certain algebras of global dimension at most 2, for example tensor products of path algebras of representation-finite quivers. Thus, our method is based on (and contributes to) the bridge, provided by cluster combinatorics, between the representation theory of quantum groups and that of quivers with relations.

Hybrid Modelling Approaches for Forecasting Energy Spot Prices in EPEC market

In this work we considered several hybrid modelling approaches for forecasting energy spot prices in EPEC market. Hybridization is performed through combining a Naive model, Fourier analysis, ARMA and GARCH models, a mean-reversion and jump-diffusion model, and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN). Training data was given in terms of electricity prices for 2013-2014 years, and test data as a year of 2015.
