Four-loop quark form factor with quartic fundamental colour factor

We analytically compute the four-loop QCD corrections for the colour structure $(d_F^{abcd})^2$ to the massless non-singlet quark form factor. The computation involves non-trivial non-planar integral families which have master integrals in the top sector. We compute the master integrals by introducing a second mass scale and solving differential equations with respect to the ratio of the two scales. We present details of our calculational procedure. Analytical results for the cusp and collinear anomalous dimensions, and the finite part of the form factor are presented. We also provide analytic results for all master integrals expanded up to weight eight.

Evaluating `elliptic' master integrals at special kinematic values: using differential equations and their solutions via expansions near singular points

This is a sequel of our previous paper where we described an algorithm to find a solution of differential equations for master integrals in the form of an $ε$-expansion series with numerical coefficients. The algorithm is based on using generalized power series expansions near singular points of the differential system, solving difference equations for the corresponding coefficients in these expansions and using matching to connect series expansions at two neighboring points. Here we use our algorithm and the corresponding code for our example of four-loop generalized sunset diagrams with three massive and two massless propagators, in order to obtain new analytical results. We analytically evaluate the master integrals at threshold, $p^2=9 m^2$, in an expansion in $ε$ up to $ε^1$. With the help of our code, we obtain numerical results for the threshold master integrals in an $ε$-expansion with the accuracy of 6000 digits and then use the PSLQ algorithm to arrive at analytical values. Our basis of constants is build from bases of multiple polylogarithm values at sixth roots of unity.

Four-loop wave function renormalization in QCD and QED

We compute the on-shell wave function renormalization constant to four-loop order in QCD and present numerical results for all coefficients of the SU$(N_c)$ colour factors. We extract the four-loop HQET anomalous dimension of the heavy quark field and also discuss the application of our result to QED.

Three-loop massive form factors: complete light-fermion corrections for the vector current

We compute the three-loop QCD corrections to the massive quark-anti-quark-photon form factors $F_1$ and $F_2$ involving a closed loop of massless fermions. This subset is gauge invariant and contains both planar and non-planar contributions. We perform the reduction using FIRE and compute the master integrals with the help of differential equations. Our analytic results can be expressed in terms of Goncharov polylogarithms. We provide analytic results for all master integrals which are not present in the large-$N_c$ calculation considered in Refs. [1,2].

Solving differential equations for Feynman integrals by expansions near singular points

We describe a strategy to solve differential equations for Feynman integrals by powers series expansions near singular points and to obtain high precision results for the corresponding master integrals. We consider Feynman integrals with two scales, i.e. nontrivially depending on one variable. The corresponding algorithm is oriented at situations where canonical form of the differential equations is impossible. We provide a computer implementation of our algorithm in a simple example of four-loop generalized sun-set integrals with three equal non-zero masses. Our code provides values of the master integrals at any given point on the real axis with a required accuracy and a given order of expansion in the regularization parameter $ε$.

$(g-2)_μ$ at four loops in QED

We review the four-loop QED corrections to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. The fermionic contributions with closed electron and tau contributions are discussed. Furthermore, we report on a new independent calculation of the universal four-loop contribution and compare with existing results.

The $n_f^2$ contributions to fermionic four-loop form factors

We compute the four-loop contributions to the photon quark and Higgs quark form factors involving two closed fermion loops. We present analytical results for all non-planar master integrals of the two non-planar integral families which enter our calculation.

Evaluating Multiple Polylogarithm Values at Sixth Roots of Unity up to Weight Six

We evaluate multiple polylogarithm values at sixth roots of unity up to weight six, i.e. of the form $G(a_1,\ldots,a_w;1)$ where the indices $a_i$ are equal to zero or a sixth root of unity, with $a_1\neq 1$. For $w\leq 6$, we present bases of the linear spaces generated by the real and imaginary parts of $G(a_1,\ldots,a_w;1)$ and present a table for expressing them as linear combinations of the elements of the bases.

Massive three-loop form factor in the planar limit

We compute the three-loop QCD corrections to the massive quark-anti-quark-photon form factors $F_1$ and $F_2$ in the large-$N_c$ limit. The analytic results are expressed in terms of Goncharov polylogarithms. This allows for a straightforward numerical evaluation. We also derive series expansions, including power suppressed terms, for three kinematic regions corresponding to small and large invariant masses of the photon momentum, and small velocities of the heavy quarks.

Analytic results for planar three-loop integrals for massive form factors

We use the method of differential equations to analytically evaluate all planar three-loop Feynman integrals relevant for form factor calculations involving massive particles. Our results for ninety master integrals at general $q^2$ are expressed in terms of multiple polylogarithms, and results for fiftyone master integrals at the threshold $q^2=4m^2$ are expressed in terms of multiple polylogarithms of argument one, with indices equal to zero or to a sixth root of unity.

$\overline{\rm MS}$-on-shell quark mass relation up to four loops in QCD and a general SU$(N)$ gauge group

In this paper we compute the relation between heavy quark masses defined in the modified minimal subtraction and on-shell scheme. Detailed results are presented for all coefficients of the SU$(N_c)$ colour factors. The reduction of the four-loop on-shell integrals is performed for a general QCD gauge parameter. Some of the about 380 master integrals are computed analytically, others with high numerical precision based on Mellin-Barnes representations, and the rest numerically with the help of {\tt FIESTA}. We discuss in detail the precise numerical evaluation of the four-loop master integrals. Updated relations between various short-distance masses and the $\overline{\rm MS}$ quark mass to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order accuracy are provided for the charm, bottom and top quark. We discuss the dependence on the renormalization and factorization scale.

Nonperturbative solution of scalar Yukawa model in two- and three-body Fock space truncations

The Light-Front Tamm-Dancoff method of finding the nonperturbative solutions in field theory is based on the Fock decomposition of the state vector, complemented with the sector-dependent nonperturbative renormalization scheme. We show in detail how to implement the renormalization procedure and to solve the simplest nontrivial example of the scalar Yukawa model in the two- and three-body Fock space truncations incorporating scalar "nucleon" and one or two scalar "pions".

A planar four-loop form factor and cusp anomalous dimension in QCD

We compute the fermionic contribution to the photon-quark form factor to four-loop order in QCD in the planar limit in analytic form. From the divergent part of the latter the cusp and collinear anomalous dimensions are extracted. Results are also presented for the finite contribution. We briefly describe our method to compute all planar master integrals at four-loop order.
