A Pipeline for Generating Longitudinal Synthetic Clinical Notes Using Large Language Models

Synthetic data is increasingly used to enable the development and evaluation of AI systems in domains where access to real-world data is restricted. In healthcare, clinical documentation presents particular challenges due to its sensitivity. This work introduces a synthetic clinical notes pipeline and dataset designed to support the development of clinical AI tools while avoiding the privacy risks associated with real patient data. The dataset is generated using a modular pipeline that combines structured patient generation, semi-structured patient journey simulation, and unstructured clinical note generation using large language models. The pipeline is designed to prioritise internal consistency across longitudinal patient records, while also capturing variation in writing style, note structure, and clinical detail. Additional mechanisms, including LLM-based validation and augmentation steps, are used to improve faithfulness, realism, and diversity of the generated notes. We release a dataset of 70 synthetic patients, each associated with 20-50 clinical notes spanning a full hospital journey. The dataset is provided at multiple levels of validation, enabling users to balance realism and scalability depending on their use case. This dataset supports the development, testing, and evaluation of clinical AI systems, including summarisation tools, coding models, and decision support systems, without reliance on real patient data.

Some examples of projective and $c$--projective compactifications of Einstein metrics

We construct several examples of compactifications of Einstein metrics. We show that the Eguchi--Hanson instanton admits a projective compactification which is non--metric, and that a metric cone over any (pseudo)--Riemannian manifolds admits a metric projective compactification. We construct a para--$c$--projective compactification of neutral signature Einstein metrics canonically defined on certain rank--$n$ affine bundles $M$ over $n$-dimensional manifolds endowed with projective structures.

Einstein Metrics, Projective Structures and the $SU(\infty)$ Toda Equation

We establish an explicit correspondence between two--dimensional projective structures admitting a projective vector field, and a class of solutions to the $SU(\infty)$ Toda equation. We give several examples of new, explicit solutions of the Toda equation, and construct their mini--twistor spaces. Finally we discuss the projective-to-Einstein correspondence, which gives a neutral signature Einstein metric on a cotangent bundle $T^*N$ of any projective structure $(N, [\nabla])$. We show that there is a canonical Einstein of metric on an $\R^*$--bundle over $T^*N$, with a connection whose curvature is the pull--back of the natural symplectic structure from $T^*N$.

The $ϕ^4$ kink on a wormhole spacetime

The soliton resolution conjecture states that solutions to solitonic equations with generic initial data should, after some non--linear behaviour, eventually resolve into a finite number of solitons plus a radiative term. This conjecture is intimately tied to soliton stability, which has been investigated for a number of solitonic equations, including that of $ϕ^4$ theory on $\mathbb{R}^{1,1}$. We study a modification of this theory on a $3+1$ dimensional wormhole spacetime which has a spherical throat of radius $a$, with a focus on the stability properties of the modified kink. In particular, we prove that the modified kink is linearly stable, and compare its discrete spectrum to that of the $ϕ^4$ kink on $\mathbb{R}^{1,1}$. We also study the resonant coupling between the discrete modes and the continuous spectrum for small but non--linear perturbations. Some numerical and analytical evidence for asymptotic stability is presented for the range of $a$ where the kink has exactly one discrete mode.
