One-dimensional kinetic Ising model with nonuniform coupling constants

A nonuniform extension of the Glauber model on a one-dimensional lattice with boundaries is investigated. Based on detailed balance, reaction rates are proposed for the system. The static behavior of the system is investigated. It is shown that there are cases where the system exhibits a static phase transition, which is a change of behavior of the static profile of the expectation values of the spins near end points.

Phase transition in annihilation-limited processes

A system of particles is studied in which the stochastic processes are one-particle type-change (or one-particle diffusion) and multi-particle annihilation. It is shown that, if the annihilation rate tends to zero but the initial values of the average number of the particles tends to infinity, so that the annihilation rate times a certain power of the initial values of the average number of the particles remain constant (the double scaling) then if the initial state of the system is a multi-Poisson distribution, the system always remains in a state of multi-Poisson distribution, but with evolving parameters. The large time behavior of the system is also investigated. The system exhibits a dynamical phase transition. It is seen that for a k-particle annihilation, if k is larger than a critical value k_c, which is determined by the type-change rates, then annihilation does not enter the relaxation exponent of the system; while for k < k_c, it is the annihilation (in fact k itself) which determines the relaxation exponent.

Exactly solvable reaction diffusion models on a Cayley tree

The most general reaction-diffusion model on a Cayley tree with nearest-neighbor interactions is introduced, which can be solved exactly through the empty-interval method. The stationary solutions of such models, as well as their dynamics, are discussed. Concerning the dynamics, the spectrum of the evolution Hamiltonian is found and shown to be discrete, hence there is a finite relaxation time in the evolution of the system towards its stationary state.

Multi shocks in Reaction-diffusion models

It is shown, concerning equivalent classes, that on a one-dimensional lattice with nearest neighbor interaction, there are only four independent models possessing double-shocks. Evolution of the width of the double-shocks in different models is investigated. Double-shocks may vanish, and the final state is a state with no shock. There is a model for which at large times the average width of double-shocks will become smaller. Although there may exist stationary single-shocks in nearest neighbor reaction diffusion models, it is seen that in none of these models, there exist any stationary double-shocks. Models admitting multi-shocks are classified, and the large time behavior of multi-shock solutions is also investigated.

The Fokker-Planck equation, and stationary densities

The most general local Markovian stochastic model is investigated, for which it is known that the evolution equation is the Fokker-Planck equation. Special cases are investigated where uncorrelated initial states remain uncorrelated. Finally, stochastic one-dimensional fields with local interactions are studied that have kink-solutions.

Phase transitions in systems possessing Shock solutions

Recently it is shown that there are three families of stochastic one-dimensional non-equilibrium lattice models for which the single-shock measures form an invariant subspace of the states of these models. Here, both the stationary states and dynamics of single-shocks on a one-dimensional lattice are studied. This is done for both an infinite lattice and a finite lattice with boundaries. It is seen that these models possess both static and dynamical phase transitions. The static phase transition is the well known low-high density phase transition For the ASEP. The BCRW, and AKGP models also show the same phase transition. Double-shocks on a one-dimensional lattice are also investigated. It is shown that at the stationary state the contribution of double-shocks with higher width becomes small, and the main contribution comes from thin double-shocks.

Models solvable through the empty-interval method

The most general one dimensional reaction-diffusion model with nearest-neighbor interactions solvable through the empty interval method, and without any restriction on the particle-generation from two adjacent empty sites is studied. It is shown that turning on the reactions which generate particles from two adjacent empty sites, results in a gap in the spectrum of the evolution operator (or equivalently a finite relaxation time).

Exactly solvable models through the generalized empty interval method: multi-species and more-than-two-site interactions

Multi-species reaction-diffusion systems, with more-than-two-site interaction on a one-dimensional lattice are considered. Necessary and sufficient constraints on the interaction rates are obtained, that guarantee the closedness of the time evolution equation for $E^{\mathbf a}_n(t)$'s, the expectation value of the product of certain linear combination of the number operators on $n$ consecutive sites at time $t$.

Dynamical phase transition in the two-point functions of the autonomous one-dimensional single-species reaction-diffusion systems

The evolution of the two-point functions of autonomous one-dimensional single-species reaction-diffusion systems with nearest-neighbor interaction and translationally-invariant initial conditions is investigated. It is shown that the dynamical phase structure of such systems consists of five phases. As an example, a one-parameter family is introduced which can be in each of these phases.

Perturbative calculation of one-point functions of one-dimensional single-species reaction-diffusion systems

Perturbations around autonomous one-dimensional single-species reaction-diffusion systems are investigated. It is shown that the parameter space corresponding to the autonomous systems is divided into two parts: In one part, the system is stable against the perturbations, in the sense that largest relaxation time of the one-point functions changes continuously with perturbations. In the other part, however, the system is unstable against perturbations, so that any small perturbation drastically modifies the large-time behavior of the one-point functions.

Static- and dynamical-phase transition in one-dimensional reaction-diffusion systems with boundaries

A general system of particles (of one or several species) on a one dimensional lattice with boundaries is considered. Two general behaviors of such systems are investigated. The stationary behavior of the system, and the dominant way of the relaxation of the system toward its stationary system. Bases on the first behavior, static phase transitions (discontinuous changes in the stationary profiles of the system) are studied. Based on the second behavior, dynamical phase transitions (discontinuous changes in the relaxation-times of the system) are studied. The investigation is specialized on systems in which the evolution equation of one-point functions are closed (the autonomous systems).

Exactly solvable models through the generalized empty interval method, for multi-species interactions

Multi-species reaction-diffusion systems, with nearest-neighbor interaction on a one-dimensional lattice are considered. The constraints are solved for the single-species left-right-symmetric systems. Also, examples of multi-species system for which the evolution equations of $E^{\mathbf a}_n(t)$'s are closed, are given.

Autonomous multispecies reaction-diffusion systems with more-than-two-site interactions

Autonomous multispecies systems with more-than-two-neighbor interactions are studied. Conditions necessary and sufficient for closedness of the evolution equations of the $n$-point functions are obtained. The average number of the particles at each site for one species and three-site interactions, and its generalization to the more-than-three-site interactions is explicitly obtained. Generalizations of the Glauber model in different directions, using generalized rates, generalized number of states at each site, and generalized number of interacting sites, are also investigated.

Dynamical phase transition of a one-dimensional kinetic Ising model with boundaries

The Glauber model on a one-dimensional lattice with boundaries (for the ferromagnetic- and anti-ferromagnetic case) is considered. The large-time behaviour of the one-point function is studied. It is shown that, for any positive temperature, the system shows a dynamical phase transition. The dynamical phase transition is controlled by the rate of spin flip at the boundaries, and is a discontiuous change of the derivative of the relaxation time towards the stationary configuration.

Similarity transformation in one-dimensional reaction-diffusion systems; voting model as an example

The exact solution for a system with two-particle annihilation and decoagulation has been studied. The spectrum of the Hamiltonian of the system is found. It is shown that the steady state is two-fold degenerate. The average number density in each cite and the equal time two-point functions are calculated. Any equal time correlation functions at large times, $ $, is also calculated. The relaxation behaviour of the system toward its final state is investigated and it is shown that generally it is exponential, as it is expected. For the special symmetric case, the relaxation behaviour of the system is a power law. For the asymmetric case, it is shown that the profile of deviation from the final values is an exponential function of the position.

Logarithmic N=1 superconformal field theories

We study the logarithmic superconformal field theories. Explicitly, the two-point functions of N=1 logarithmic superconformal field theories (LSCFT) when the Jordan blocks are two (or more) dimensional, and when there are one (or more) Jordan block(s) have been obtained. Using the well known three-point fuctions of N=1 superconformal field theory (SCFT), three-point functions of N=1 LSCFT are obtained. The general form of N=1 SCFT's four-point functions is also obtained, from which one can easily calculate four-point functions in N=1 LSCFT.
