Best proximity results for $p$-proximal contractions on topological spaces

In this article, we investigate for some sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of best proximity points for the topological $p$-proximal contractions and $p$-proximal contractive mappings on arbitrary topological spaces. Moreover, our results are authenticated by a few numerical examples and these generalize some of the known results in the literature.

Existence of Solutions to Non-linear Quadratic Integral Equations via Measure of Non-Compactness

The objective of this manuscript is to enquire for the solvability of a specific type of non-linear quadratic integral equations via the interesting notion of measure of non-compactness. Firstly, we inquire into couple of exciting fixed point theorems involving a measure of non-compactness in the setting of a Banach space. Subsequently, bringing into play a suitable measure of non-compactness and the acquired results, we discuss the existence of solution to the aforementioned kind of non-linear quadratic integral equations.

Topological developments of $\mathcal{F}$-metric spaces

In this manuscript, we claim that the newly introduced $\mathcal{F}$-metric spaces are Hausdorff and also first countable. Moreover, we assert that every separable $\mathcal{F}$-metric space is second countable. Additionally, we acquire some interesting fixed point results concerning altering distance functions for contractive-type mappings and Kannan-type contractive mappings in this exciting context. However, most of the findings are well-furnished by several non-trivial numerical examples. Finally, we raise an open problem regarding the metrizability of such kind of spaces.

Positive solution to fractional thermostat model in Banach spaces via fixed point results

The motive behind this manuscript is to set up the existence and uniqueness of a positive solution for a fractional thermostat model for certain values of the parameter $λ>0$. We accomplish sufficient conditions for the existence of a positive solution to the model, and afterwards formulate a non-trivial example to authenticate the grounds of our obtained results. Our findings are based on certain fixed point results of contractions depending on couple of altering distance functions $ϕ$ and $ψ$ in the setting of Banach spaces that are discussed in this sequel.

Fixed point results on θ-metric spaces via simulation functions

In a recent article, Khojasteh et al. introduced a new class of simulation functions, Z-contractions, with blending over known contractive conditions in the literature. Subsequently, in this paper, we extend and generalize the results on θ-metric context and we discuss some fixed point results in connection with existing ones. Also, we originate the notion of modified Z-contractions and explore the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of such functions on the said spaces. Finally we include examples to instantiate our main results.
