A quantum theory of gravity

We develop a covariant Hamiltonian formalism in which evolution is measured along the proper-time flow of an observer congruence, replacing the external coordinate-time derivative with the Lie derivative. Our formalism keeps the Hamiltonian split between evolution and configuration variables and expresses it through spacetime tensors projected relative to the chosen congruence. After quantization, the resulting observer-congruent brackets lead to relativistic Heisenberg and Schrödinger equations whose evolution parameter is proper time. We then apply this framework to gravity by taking the projected spatial metric and its conjugate momentum as canonical variables, obtaining a complete model of canonical quantum gravity. Among the predictions of this theory we find a resolution to the singularity problems in cosmology, black holes and black hole thermodynamics.

A Modified Gravitational Theory of the Matter Sector of the Type $ϕ(R,T)\mathcal{L}_{m}$

We investigate a modified gravity framework where the geometric Einstein--Hilbert sector remains untouched while the matter Lagrangian is weighted by a nontrivial function $ϕ(T)$ of the energy--momentum trace. Unlike $f(R,T)$ or $f(R,\mathcal L_m)$ theories, this construction alters how matter curves spacetime without introducing extra geometric degrees of freedom, thereby remaining consistent with local tests of gravity. Physically, the factor $ϕ(T)\mathcal L_m$ can be interpreted as an effective renormalization of the matter sector, relevant at high densities and smoothly reducing to GR at low densities. Within this setup we identify a robust window in parameter space leading to a smooth and nonsingular cosmological bounce, with bounded density, finite $\dot H>0$ at the bounce, and preservation of the infrared limit where $Λ$CDM is recovered. This mechanism provides a natural route to singularity resolution while retaining the empirical successes of standard cosmology.

Gravitational Field of a Rotating Mass on an Expanding Universe

We present a new exact solution to Einstein's field equations that unifies the Kerr black hole with Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker cosmology. This metric reduces to Kerr-de Sitter in the appropriate limit and accounts for cosmological expansion dynamics both inside and outside the black hole. The model predicts a stationary mass, as well as a contracting ergosphere and event horizon with respect to the expanding cosmic rest frame. This result correctly generalises the McVittie metric to rotating masses or Kerr-de Sitter to arbitrary scale factors $a(t)$. Additionally, we find that the ergosphere tends to fade away with respect to the universe's expansion and no further interactions of dark energy with respect to the black hole's rotation.
