Salesforce Koa: An Enterprise Language Model for Agentic Tool Use

We present Salesforce Koa, an enterprise language model built by post-training the open-weight Nemotron-3-Super-120B foundation model with reinforcement learning using Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO). Salesforce Koa is trained on public and synthetically generated data, with no customer data, to improve tool use and agentic capabilities while preserving strong general-purpose performance. Its distinctive component is a simulation-to-reward pipeline that expands workflow specifications into persona-conditioned multi-turn tasks with task-resolution rewards grounded in successful tool use for data-dependent requests. For enterprise domains, these specifications are written in Agent Script, Salesforce's declarative language for building Agentforce agents; for public tool-use domains, we synthesize the workflow structure directly. The same simulation and grounded-reward machinery drives GRPO across both. Across public tool-use, agentic-reasoning, and enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) benchmarks, Salesforce Koa improves over its open-weight base, with the clearest gains on multi-turn tool use, and surpasses a strong proprietary baseline while remaining below the strongest frontier models. These results show that specification-driven reinforcement learning is a practical path to specializing open-weight foundation models for enterprise agentic tasks.

EDGE: Engine for Deterministic Graph Evaluation through Conversation Simulation from Graph Structured DSL Configuration

As agentic systems evolve into complex multi agent orchestration workflows, there is a growing and critical need for systematic frameworks that measures an agent's behavioral consistency and determinism. In this paper, we introduce a formal evaluation methodology that is grounded in AgentGraph, a planner powered by a domain specific language that represents agent reasoning through a dynamically adjustable directed graph. We leverage this structural formalism and utilize graph traversal algorithms that exhaustively enumerate conversational paths, forming a comprehensive evaluation set that captures the agent's complete behavioral space. We then systematically replay these reproducible trajectories to compare observed outputs and state transitions against the intended DSL specification. To quantify reliability, we define novel metrics that measure response and trajectory determinism, structural adherence and semantic consistency across both exact replays and their linguistic variants. Our system's results demonstrate that agents configured using frameworks like AgentGraph and LangGraph with explicitly structured node transitions show superior determinism over agents that are not configured with controlled transitions.

Vision: A Deep Learning Approach to provide walking assistance to the visually impaired

Blind people face a lot of problems in their daily routines. They have to struggle a lot just to do their day-to-day chores. In this paper, we have proposed a system with the objective to help the visually impaired by providing audio aid guiding them to avoid obstacles, which will assist them to move in their surroundings. Object Detection using YOLO will help them detect the nearby objects and Depth Estimation using monocular vision will tell the approximate distance of the detected objects from the user. Despite a higher accuracy, stereo vision has many hardware constraints, which makes monocular vision the preferred choice for this application.
