Weighted and Sobolev Estimates for Fractional Schrödinger Operators with Reverse Hölder Potentials

We study weighted and Sobolev estimates for two fractional Schrödinger operators on $\mathbb{R}^n$, where $n\geq3$ and $0<s<1$. For the additive operator $L=(-Δ)^s+V$, with a nonnegative, nontrivial potential $V$ belonging to a suitable reverse Hölder class, $RH_q$, we establish a critical-radius form inequality and decay estimates for the semigroup mass. These yield a heat-kernel bound combining polynomial off-diagonal decay with a fixed positive exponent of decay relative to the fractional critical radius $ρ_s$. A decomposition at this scale gives weighted strong-type estimates for the semigroup maximal operator and weighted Hardy--Littlewood--Sobolev estimates for $L^{-α/2}$, $0<αs<n$, together with the corresponding endpoint weak-type estimates. The admissible weights satisfy explicit growth restrictions determined by the kernel decay, and the fractional integration order is $αs$. We also consider the spectral operator $Q=(-Δ+V)^s$. Assuming $V\in RH_{q_1}$ with $n/(1+s)\leq q_1<n$ and classical critical radius $ρ_1(x)\geq1$, we prove that $\nabla Q^{-1/2}$ maps $H^{1-s,p}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ into $L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)$ for $1<p\leq p_0$, where $1/p_0=1/q_1-1/n$. By duality, its adjoint maps $L^{p^{'}}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ into $H^{s-1,p^{'}}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ for $p_0^{'}\leq p^{'}<\infty$.

Mixed Grushin Heat Equations with Riesz-Potential Nonlinearities in Marcinkiewicz Spaces: Subcritical, Critical, and Supercritical Regimes

We study the nonlinear evolution equation $$ \partial_t u+(G+G^δ)u=I_α(|u|^ρ) \quad\text{on }\mathbb{R}^{N+k}, $$ where $G$ is the nonnegative self adjoint realization of Grushin operator, $0<δ<1$, and $I_α$ is the potential operator with kernel $|z|^{-α}$, $0<α 1+p/β$, well-posedness is recovered in higher-integrability Marcinkiewicz spaces $L^{q,\infty}$ satisfying $$ β(ρ-1)<q<β_δ(ρ-1), $$ with global existence for sufficiently small initial data. In all cases, the solutions attain their initial data in the weak-$*$ sense. These results extend the Marcinkiewicz-space theory to mixed Grushin diffusion with a spatially nonlocal potential source and reveal the role of the two competing diffusion scales in determining the admissible integrability regimes.

Localization operators on discrete Orlicz modulation spaces

In this paper, we introduce Orlicz spaces on $ \mathbb Z^n \times \mathbb T^n $ and Orlicz modulation spaces on $\mathbb Z^n$, and study inclusion relations, convolution relations, and duality of these spaces. We show that the Orlicz modulation space $M^Φ(\mathbb Z^n)$ is close to the modulation space $M^{2}(\mathbb Z^n)$ for some particular Young function $Φ$. Then, we study localization operators on $\mathbb Z^n$. In particular, using appropriate classes for symbols, we prove that these operators are bounded on Orlicz modulation spaces on $\mathbb Z^n$, compact and in the Schatten--von Neumann classes.

Uncertainty Principles for the Short-Time Fourier Transform on the Heisenberg Group

We develop a systematic theory of uncertainty principles for the short-time Fourier transform (STFT) on the Heisenberg group. Building on recent developments in modulation spaces and time-frequency analysis on the Heisenberg group introduced by Fischer et al. and later by Biswas-Thangavelu, we establish noncommutative analogues of several fundamental uncertainty principles in time-frequency analysis, including Benedicks' theorem, the Donoho-Stark uncertainty principle, and Lieb's inequality. As a consequence of Lieb's inequality, we derive an entropy-based uncertainty principle of Hirschman type. We further establish a Heisenberg-type uncertainty inequality and local uncertainty principles in the spirit of Price. In addition, we prove a Beurling-Hardy-type theorem that captures the interplay between decay and phase-space localization. Finally, we investigate decay properties of the STFT and their implications for time-frequency concentration. These results extend a broad spectrum of classical uncertainty phenomena from the Euclidean setting to the Heisenberg group, highlighting the role of noncommutative harmonic analysis in the study of phase-space localization.

$L^p$-Heisenberg--Pauli--Weyl Uncertainty Inequalities on the Laguerre Hypergroup

In this paper, we establish the first $L^p$-Heisenberg--Pauli--Weyl uncertainty inequalities on the Laguerre hypergroup for the full range $1\le p\le2$. These results extend Xiao's Euclidean $L^p$ theory to the setting of the Laguerre hypergroup, which is the fundamental manifold of the radial function space for the Heisenberg group. The analysis is carried out through the Fourier--Laguerre transform and exploits the mixed discrete--continuous spectral structure of the Laguerre hypergroup, requiring estimates adapted to its Plancherel measure and dilation structure. As a consequence, in the endpoint case $p=2$, we obtain a refined $L^2$-Heisenberg--Pauli--Weyl uncertainty inequality valid for all positive exponents $a,b>0$, thereby improving the earlier result of Atef (2013), where the assumptions $a,b\ge1$ arose from the heat kernel methods. Our proofs rely on the Fourier--Laguerre transform, dilation and scaling invariance, the Hausdorff--Young inequality and the Plancherel identity, completely avoiding heat kernel techniques. These results provide a unified Fourier-analytic framework for Heisenberg--Pauli--Weyl uncertainty inequalities on the Laguerre hypergroup and further strengthen the connections between Euclidean, Heisenberg and hypergroup harmonic analysis.

Hartee-type heat equation associated to fractional anharmonic oscillator on weighted modulation spaces

We study Hartree-type nonlinear heat equations associated with fractional generalised anharmonic oscillators \(A_{k,l}\) in weighted modulation spaces. We first derive Strichartz-type estimates for the associated heat semigroup and then apply them to establish global well-posedness for small initial data. For \(s>\frac{d}{q'}\), the result is obtained via trilinear estimates exploiting the algebra property of the weighted modulation space, \(M^{p,q}_s\). We further establish refined trilinear estimates that bypass the algebra structure, thereby extending the global well-posedness theory to the wider range \(s\ge 0\).

Boundedness of Fourier Multipliers and Applications to Nonlinear PDEs for the Strichartz Fourier Transform on the Heisenberg Group

We investigate Fourier multipliers associated with the Strichartz Fourier transform on the Heisenberg group. In particular, we establish Hörmander-type $L^{p}-L^{q}$ boundedness results for the range $1<p\leq 2\leq q<\infty$. The analysis is based on deriving suitable analogues of the Hausdorff-Young and Paley inequalities for the Strichartz Fourier transform, followed by interpolation arguments to obtain the desired multiplier estimates. As an application, we study the local well-posedness of certain nonlinear partial differential equations. Furthermore, we establish an $L^{p}$-boundedness theorem for Fourier multipliers associated with the Strichartz Fourier transform for the full range $1<p<\infty$.

Weighted Norm Inequalities for the Strichartz Fourier transform on the Heisenberg Group

In this article, we establish an analogue of Pitt's inequality for the Strichartz Fourier transform on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$. By exploiting the scalar-valued formulation of the transform and the framework of decreasing rearrangements, we derive weighted $L^p$-$L^q$ estimates of Pitt type. In particular, we obtain sufficient conditions for the validity of such inequalities via weighted Hardy inequalities and Calderón's interpolation method, and we also prove necessary conditions in the case of radial weights, using structural properties of Laguerre functions and zeros of Bessel function. As an application, we deduce an uncertainty principle of Heisenberg-Pauli-Weyl type in this setting and establish a Paley inequality for the Strichartz Fourier transform. We also derive Pitt's inequality using Hardy's inequality for the case $p=q=2$. These results extend the classical Euclidean theory of Pitt's inequality to the non-commutative, nilpotent setting of $\mathbb{H}^n$ for the sub-Laplacian and conformal Laplacian. Here we highlight the role of Laguerre functions in harmonic analysis on the Heisenberg group.

Phase-Space Analysis of generalised Fractional Anharmonic and Ornstein-Uhlenbeck Semigroups on Weighted Modulation Spaces

We develop a phase-space framework for fractional generalised anharmonic oscillators and their heat semigroups on weighted modulation spaces. We consider operators of the form \[ \mathcal{H}_{k,l}=(-Δ)^{l}+V(x), \] where $V$ is a strictly positive homogeneous potential of polynomial growth of order $2k$. By studying a Hörmander metric adapted to the quasi-homogeneous symbol $|ξ|^{2l}+V(x)$, as in \cite{MR4299820, MR4944933} we place $\mathcal{H}_{k,l}$ and its fractional powers within the Weyl-Hörmander calculus. In this setting, we show that the fractional operators $\mathcal{H}_{k,l}^β$, $β>0$, are globally hypoelliptic pseudodifferential operators and derive refined symbol estimates for the heat semigroup $e^{-t\mathcal{H}_{k,l}^β}$. These estimates yield boundedness and smoothing properties of the fractional anharmonic heat semigroup on weighted modulation spaces $\mathcal{M}^{p,q}_{s}$, for the full range $0<p,q\leq\infty$ and suitable range of $s$. As applications, we establish global well-posedness of nonlinear heat equations associated with $\mathcal{H}_{k,l}^β$, including both homogenous power and spatially inhomogenous nonlinearities. Finally, we introduce Gaussian modulation spaces adapted to the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator and prove continuity of the corresponding semigroup, providing a phase-space perspective complementary to classical Gaussian harmonic analysis.

A Modular Mechanistic In Silico Model for In Vitro Transcription Process Yield and Product Quality Prediction

In vitro transcription (IVT) plays a critical role in the manufacture of mRNA vaccines and therapeutics. Optimizing mRNA yield and ensuring product quality, such as capping efficiency and integrity, are essential but mechanistically complex. This study presents a modular mechanistic model of the IVT process to advance scientific understanding and improve predictive capability. The IVT reaction network is decomposed into interconnected modules describing (1) initiation and capping, (2) elongation and truncation, (3) termination and read-through, (4) mRNA degradation, (5) magnesium pyrophosphate precipitation, and (6) enzymatic degradation of pyrophosphate. Guided by biochemical principles and experimental data, kinetic models were developed for each module, accounting for mass balances, molecular complexation, and enzyme activity, and were subsequently assembled to capture coupled IVT dynamics. Multivariate residual analysis and Shapley value-based sensitivity analysis, guided by domain knowledge, were applied to iteratively improve model fidelity. These machine learning-driven analytics enabled identification of key mechanisms, supported in silico experimentation, and facilitated root-cause analysis. Combined with Gaussian-process-based batch Bayesian optimization for efficient parameter estimation, this framework establishes a scalable hybrid (mechanistic + machine learning) modeling platform that integrates heterogeneous data, accelerates model calibration, and supports rational design and optimization of mRNA manufacturing processes.

Uncertainty Principles for the Strichartz Fourier transform on the Heisenberg Group

In this article, we establish several fundamental uncertainty principles for the Strichartz Fourier transform on the Heisenberg group, including Benedicks' theorem, the Donoho-Stark principle, the local uncertainty principle of Price, and a weak form of Beurling's theorem. The Strichartz Fourier transform, introduced by Thangavelu (2023), provides a scalar-valued analogue of the classical operator-valued Fourier transform on the Heisenberg group. We first prove an analogue of Benedicks' theorem asserting that a nonzero function and its Strichartz Fourier transform cannot both be supported on sets of finite measure. As a consequence, we obtain Nazarov's uncertainty inequality. We then establish the Donoho-Stark principle, providing quantitative bounds on simultaneous concentration in space and frequency, and extend the local uncertainty principle of Price to this framework. Finally, we present a weak form of Beurling's theorem for radial functions on the Heisenberg group.

Structurally damped semilinear evolution equation for positive operators on Hilbert space

In this study, we analyze a semilinear damped evolution equation under different damping conditions, including the undamped $(θ=0)$, effectively damped $(0<2θ<σ)$, critically damped $(2θ=σ)$, and non-effectively damped $(σ<2θ\leq 2σ)$. The analysis is conducted in two parts; the present article is devoted to examining decay estimates of solutions to the linear evolution equation governed by a self-adjoint, positive operator $\mathcal{L}$ with discrete spectrum subject to initial Cauchy data of minimal regularity. Specifically, we consider the Cauchy problem: \begin{equation*} \left\{\begin{array}{l} u_{tt}(t)+\mathcal{L}^θu_{t}(t)+\mathcal{L}^σu(t) =0, \quad t>0, u(0)=u_{0}\in\mathcal{H},\quad u_{t}(0)=u_{1}\in\mathcal{H}, \end{array}\right. \end{equation*} in different damping conditions. %More precisely, we study decay estimates for a solution, its time derivative, and space derivative in both cases. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the decay rates of the associated solutions improve with the regularity of the initial Cauchy data. As an application of the decay estimates, we also demonstrate the global existence (in time) of the solution in certain cases, taking into account polynomial-type nonlinearity. In the 2nd article, we will address the remaining instances where global existence cannot be assured and instead present findings on local existence and possible blow-up results.

Local Dispersive and Strichartz estimates for the Schrödinger equation associated to the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator

In this paper we study the linear and nonlinear Schrödinger equations associated with the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck (OU) operator endowed with the Gaussian measure. While classical Strichartz estimates are well-developed for the free Schrödinger operator on Euclidean spaces, extending them to non-translation-invariant operators like the OU operator presents significant challenges due to the lack of global dispersive decay. In this work, we overcome these difficulties by deriving localized $L^1 \to L^\infty$ dispersive estimates for the OU Schrödinger propagator using Mehler kernel techniques. We then establish a family of weighted Strichartz estimates in Gaussian $L^p$ spaces via interpolation and the abstract $TT^*$-method. As an application, we prove local well-posedness results for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with power-type nonlinearity in both subcritical and critical regimes. Our framework reveals new dispersive phenomena in the context of the OU semigroup and provides the first comprehensive Strichartz theory in this setting.

Fractional semilinear damped wave equation on the Heisenberg group

This paper aims to investigate the Cauchy problem for the semilinear damped wave equation for the fractional sub-Laplacian $(-\mathcal{L}_{\mathbb{H}})^α$, $α>0$ on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^{n}$ with power type non-linearity. With the presence of a positive damping term and nonnegative mass term, we derive $L^2-L^2$ decay estimates for the solution of the homogeneous linear fractional damped wave equation on $\mathbb{H}^{n}$, for its time derivative, and for its space derivatives. We also discuss how these estimates can be improved when we consider additional $L^1$-regularity for the Cauchy data in the absence of the mass term. Also, in the absence of mass term, we prove the global well-posedness for $2\leq p\leq 1+\frac{2α}{(\mathcal{Q}-2α)_{+}}$ $(\text{or }1+\frac{4α}{\mathcal{Q}}<p\leq 1+\frac{2α}{(\mathcal{Q}-2α)_{+}})$ in the case of $L^1\cap L^2$ $(\text{or } L^2)$ Cauchy data, respectively. However, in the presence of the mass term, the global (in time) well-posedness for small data holds for $1<p \leq 1+ \frac{2α}{(\mathcal{Q}-2α)_{+}}$. Finally, as an application of the linear decay estimates, we investigate well-posedness for the Cauchy problem for a weakly coupled system with two semilinear fractional damped wave equations with positive mass term on $\mathbb{H}^{n}$.

Non-harmonic analysis of the wave equation for Schrödinger operators with complex potential

This article investigates the wave equation for the Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb{R}^{n}$, denoted as $\mathcal{H}_0:=-Δ+V$, where $Δ$ is the standard Laplacian and $V$ is a complex-valued multiplication operator. We prove that the operator $\mathcal{H}_0$, with $\operatorname{Re}(V)\geq 0$ and $\operatorname{Re}(V)(x)\to\infty$ as $|x|\to\infty$, has a purely discrete spectrum under certain conditions. In the spirit of Colombini, De Giorgi, and Spagnolo, we also prove that the Cauchy problem with regular coefficients is well-posed in the associated Sobolev spaces, and when the propagation speed is Hölder continuous (or more regular), it is well-posed in Gevrey spaces. Furthermore, we prove that it is very weakly well-posed when the coefficients possess a distributional singularity.

Global well-posedness of space-time fractional diffusion equation with Rockland operator on graded Lie group

In this article, we examine the general space-time fractional diffusion equation for left-invariant hypoelliptic homogeneous operators on graded Lie groups. Our study covers important examples such as the time-fractional diffusion equation, the space-time fractional diffusion equation when diffusion is under the influence of sub-Laplacian on the Heisenberg group, or general stratified Lie groups. We establish the global well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the general space-time fractional diffusion equation for the Rockland operator on a graded Lie group in the associated Sobolev spaces. More precisely, we establish the existence and uniqueness results for both homogeneous and inhomogeneous fractional diffusion equations. In addition, we also develop some regularity estimates.

Time-fractional discrete diffusion equation for Schrödinger operator

This article aims to investigate the semi-classical analog of the general Caputo-type diffusion equation with time-dependent diffusion coefficient associated with the discrete Schrödinger operator, $\mathcal{H}_{\hbar,V}:=-\hbar^{-2}\mathcal{L}_{\hbar}+V$ on the lattice $\hbar\mathbb{Z}^{n},$ where $V$ is a non-negative multiplication operator and $\mathcal{L}_{\hbar}$ is the discrete Laplacian. We establish the well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the general Caputo-type diffusion equation with a regular coefficient in the associated Sobolev-type spaces. However, it is very weakly well-posed when the diffusion coefficient has a distributional singularity. Finally, we recapture the classical solution (resp. very weak) for the general Caputo-type diffusion equation in the semi-classical limit $\hbar\to 0$.
