The goal of this note is to demonstrate how existing results can be adapted to establish the following result: A locally metric measure homogeneous $\mathrm{RCD}(K,N)$ space is isometric to, after multiplying a positive constant to the reference measure, a smooth Riemannian manifold with the Riemannian volume measure.
We show that locally homogeneous $\mathcal{C}^0$-Riemannian manifolds are smooth.
We construct for every finite-dimensional Alexandrov space $A$ and every point $p \in A$ a $2$-convex function $f_p$ in a small neighborhood around $p$, which approximates $\operatorname{dist}_p^2$ up to second order. Moreover, the function $f_p$ can be lifted to Gromov-Hausdorff close Alexandrov spaces of the same dimension.
