Dirac canonical idea as an alternative to the approach of Bohr. A toy model

Classical objects have been excluded as subjects of the observed quantum properties, and the related problem of quantum objects nature has been suspended since the early days of Quantum Theory. Recent experiments show that the problem could be reasonably revisited. The outlined model indicates new issues, which could result from following and exploring the canonical idea of Dirac. Topological defects in solids are considered as an example. The aim is helping to grasp the underlying pre-theoretical new intuitions, which should replace the old ones attached to the background of classical physics.

Nonlocal and relativistic behavior from a mutual physical base: a toy model

Classical objects have been excluded as subjects of the observed quantum properties, and the related problem of the nature of quantum objects has been suspended since the early days of Quantum Theory. Recent experiments show that the problem could be reasonably revisited. The presented model indicates new issues which could result from exploring a specific kind of objects: topological defects in solids.

Decoherence-free measurements in steering tasks

Quantum entanglement has been used as an experimental tool to control the state of a quantum subsystem by measurements in its twin subsystem by Kwiat and Chiao 21 year ago, already, with entangled subsystems linked by an auxiliary classical coincidence channel. We propose to extend the idea one significant step further consisting essentially in eliminating the coincidence channel in the reminded experiment. The current availability of bright biphoton sources makes such experiments feasible.

Remote which-way-choice scheme: proposed foundations experiments

Twin photons from spontaneous parametric down-conversion with preselected polarization are used as spatially disjoint subsystems. One photon is subject to an interference measurement, while a projective measurement of the second photon induces the way-choice of the first photon. This would be an example of way-choice free of direct action on the interfering photon. Two further applications of the proposed scheme are considered: a new method of quantum information speed measurement, and a test of commutation of space-like remote measurements.
