Investigations on a Riemannian manifold with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection and gradient solitons

This article carries out the investigation of a three-dimensional Riemannian manifold $N^3$ endowed with a semi-symmetric type non-metric connection. Firstly, we construct a non-trivial example to prove the existence of a semi-symmetric type non-metric connection on $N^{3}$. It is established that a $N^3$ with the semi-symmetric type non-metric connection, whose metric is a gradient Ricci soliton, is a manifold of constant sectional curvature with respect to the semi-symmetric type non-metric connection. Moreover, we prove that if the Riemannian metric of $N^3$ with the semi-symmetric type non-metric connection is a gradient Yamabe soliton, then either $N^{3}$ is a manifold of constant scalar curvature or the gradient Yamabe soliton is trivial with respect to the semi-symmetric type non-metric connection. We also characterize the manifold $N^3$ with a semi-symmetric type non-metric connection whose metrics are Einstein solitons and $m$-quasi Einstein solitons of gradient type, respectively.

Perfect fluid spacetimes and $k$-almost yamabe solitons

In this article, we presumed that a perfect fluid is the source of the gravitational field while analyzing the solutions to the Einstein field equations. With this new and creative approach, here we study $k$-almost yamabe solitons and gradient $k$-almost yamabe solitons. First, two examples are constructed to ensure the existence of gradient $k$-almost Yamabe solitons. Then we show that if a perfect fluid spacetime admits a $k$-almost yamabe soliton, then its potential vector field is Killing if and only if the divergence of the potential vector field vanishes. Besides, we prove that if a perfect fluid spacetime permit a $k$-almost yamabe soliton ($g,k,ρ,λ$), then the integral curves of the vector field $ρ$ are geodesics, the spacetime becomes stationary and the isotopic pressure and energy density remain invariant under the velocity vector field $ρ$. Also, we establish that if the potential vector field is pointwise collinear with the velocity vector field and $ρ(a)=0$ where a is a scalar, then either the perfect fluid spacetime represents phantom era, or the potential function $Φ$ is invariant under the velocity vector field $ρ$. Finally, we prove that if a perfect fluid spacetime permits a gradient $k$-almost yamabe soliton ($g,k,DΦ,λ$) and $R, λ, k$ are invariant under $ρ$, then the vorticity of the fluid vanishes.

Notes concerning Kähler and anti-Kähler structures on quasi-statistical manifolds

Let $(\acute{N},g,\nabla )$\ be a $2n$-dimensional quasi-statistical manifold that admits a pseudo-Riemannian metric $g$ (or $h)$ and a linear connection $\nabla $ with torsion. This paper aims to study an almost Hermitian structure $(g,L)$ and an almost anti-Hermitian structure $(h,L)$ on a quasi-statistical manifold that admit an almost complex structure $L$. Firstly, under certain conditions, we present the integrability of the almost complex structure $L$. We show that when $d^\nabla L =0$ and the condition of torsion-compatibility are satisfied, $(\acute{N},g,\nabla ,$ $L)$ turns into a Kähler manifold. Secondly, we give necessary and sufficient conditions under which $(\acute{N},h,\nabla ,L)$ is an anti-Kä% hler manifold, where $h$ is an anti-Hermitian metric. Moreover, we search the necessary conditions for $(\acute{N},h,\nabla ,L)$ to be a quasi-Kähler-Norden manifold.

Conjugate Connections and their Applications on Pure Metallic Metric Geometries

Let $\left( M,J,g\right) $ be a metallic pseudo-Riemannian manifold equipped with a metallic structure $J$ and a pseudo-Riemannian metric $g$. The paper deals with interactions of Codazzi couplings formed by conjugate connections and tensor structures. The presence of Tachibana operator and Codazzi couplings presented a new characterization for locally metallic pseudo-Riemannian manifold. Also, a necessary and sufficient condition a non-integrable metallic pseudo-Riemannian manifold is a quasi metallic pseudo Riemannian manifold is derived. Finally, it is introduced metallic-like pseudo-Riemannian manifolds and presented some results concerning them.

Notes concerning Codazzi pairs on almost anti-Hermitian manifolds

Let $\nabla $ be a linear connection on an $2n$-dimensional almost anti-Hermitian manifold $M$\ equipped with an almost complex structure $J$, a pseudo-Riemannian metric $g$ and the twin metric $G=g\circ J$. In this paper, we first introduce three types of conjugate connections of linear connections relative to $g$, $G$ and $J$. We obtain a simple relation among curvature tensors of these conjugate connections. To clarify relations of these conjugate connections, we prove a result stating that conjugations along with an identity operation together act as a Klein group. Secondly, we give some results exhibiting occurrences of Codazzi pairs which generalize parallelism relative to $\nabla $. Under the assumption that $(\nabla ,J)$ being a Codazzi pair, \ we derive a necessary and sufficient condition the almost anti-Hermitian manifold $(M,J,g,G)$ is an anti-Kähler relative to a torsion-free linear connection $\nabla $. Finally, we investigate statistical structures on $M$ under $\nabla $ ($\nabla $ is a $J-$invariant torsion-free connection).

Metallic Kähler and Nearly Metallic Kahler Manifolds

In this paper, we construct metallic Kähler and nearly metallic Kähler structures on Riemanian manifolds. For such manifolds with these structures, we study curvature properties. Also we describe linear connections on the manifold, which preserve the associated fundamental 2-form and satisfy some additional conditions and present some results concerning them.

On the second-order tangent bundle with deformed 2-nd lift metric

Let (M,g) be a pseudo-Riemannian manifold and $T^2M$ be its the second-order tangent bundle equipped with the deformed 2-nd lift metric g which obtained from the 2-nd lift metric by deforming the horizontal part with a symmetric (0,2)-tensor field c. In the present paper, we first compute the Levi-Civita connection and its Riemannian curvature tensor field of $(T^2M,g)$. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for $(T^2M,g)$ to be semi-symmetric. Secondly, we show that $(T^2M,g)$ is a plural-holomorphic B-manifold with the natural integrable nilpotent structure. Finally, we get the conditions under which $(T^2M,g)$ with the 2-nd lift of an almost complex structure is an anti-Kähler manifold

On metric connections with torsion on the cotangent bundle with modified Riemannian extension

Let $M$ be an $n-$dimensional differentiable manifold equipped with a torsion-free linear connection $\nabla $ and $T^{\ast }M$ its cotangent bundle. The present paper aims to study a metric connection $\widetilde{% \nabla }$ with nonvanishing torsion on $T^{\ast }M$ with modified Riemannian extension ${}\bar{g}_{\nabla ,c}$. First, we give a characterization of fibre-preserving projective vector fields on $(T^{\ast }M,{}\bar{g}%_{\nabla ,c})$ with respect to the metric connection $\widetilde{\nabla }$. Secondly, we study conditions for $(T^{\ast }M,{}\bar{g}_{\nabla ,c})$ to be semi-symmetric, Ricci semi-symmetric, $\widetilde{Z}$ semi-symmetric or locally conharmonically flat with respect to the metric connection $% \widetilde{\nabla }$. Finally, we present some results concerning the Schouten-Van Kampen connection associated to the Levi-Civita connection $% \bar{\nabla }$ of the modified Riemannian extension $\bar{g}%_{\nabla ,c}$.

Properties of modified Riemannian extensions

Let $M$ be an $n-$dimensional differentiable manifold with a symmetric connection $\nabla $ and $T^{\ast}M$ be its cotangent bundle. In this paper, we study some properties of the modified Riemannian extension $% \widetilde{g}_{\nabla,c}$ on $T^{\ast}M$ defined by means of a symmetric $% (0,2)$-tensor field $c$ on $M.$ We get the conditions under which $T^{\ast}M $ endowed with the horizontal lift $^{H}J$ of an almost complex structure $J$ and with the metric $\widetilde{g}_{\nabla,c}$ is a Kähler-Norden manifold. Also curvature properties of the Levi-Civita connection and another metric connection of the metric $\widetilde{g}_{\nabla,c}$ are presented.
