Normed Köthe space structure and Köthe duals of variable-exponent Fofana spaces and their preduals

Fofana spaces, introduced on the basis of Wiener amalgam spaces, have attracted some interest recently and have found applications in the field of partial differential equations. In this paper, we study the normed Köthe structure of the predual spaces $\mathcal{H}(p^{\prime}(\cdot),q^{\prime},α^{\prime})$ of Fofana spaces with variable exponent $(L^{p(\cdot)}, \ell^{q})^α$, where $1\leq p(\cdot) \leq α\leq q\leq \infty$. As an application of this investigation, we identify the Köthe duals and Köthe biduals of these two spaces, and we obtain a predual of $\mathcal{H}(p^{\prime}(\cdot),q^{\prime},α^{\prime})$. Finally, we prove that neither $(L^{p(\cdot)}, \ell^{q})^α$ nor $\mathcal{H}(p^{\prime}(\cdot),q^{\prime},α^{\prime})$ is reflexive.

Fractional integral and fractional maximal operators on generalized Fofana spaces

Generalized Fofana spaces were recently introduced as generalizations of Fofana spaces and Nakai's generalized Morrey spaces. In this paper, we establish the boundedness properties of the following operators in these spaces: fractional integral operators, fractional maximal operators and generalized fractional integral operators. As a consequence, we obtain generalized Olsen-type inequalities involving the Riesz potential and generalized fractional integral operators.

Analysis of the weak formulation of a coupled nonlinear parabolic system modeling a heat exchanger

This paper establishes the existence, uniqueness and time-space regularity of the weak solution to a nonlinear coupled parabolic system modeling temperature evolution in a coaxial heat exchanger with source terms and spatially varying coefficients. The system is formulated in a weak sense and the analysis relies on a Faedo-Galerkin method tailored to handle the nonlinear coupling and heterogeneous domains. Under suitable assumptions on the initial data and source terms, enhanced regularity in both time and space is obtained. In contrast with classical scalar models, the study addresses a multi-component system with realistic boundary conditions and complex interfacial dynamics.
