Quantum theory of hydrogen key of point mutation in DNA

Quantum theory of hydrogen atoms distribution between two complementary nucleotide bases in DNA double helix at moment of replication has been proposed in this work. It bases on two mechanisms of proton tunneling: the Andreev-Meyerovich mechanism with spontaneous phonon radiation and the Kagan-Maximov (Flynn-Stoneham) mechanism at phonon scattering. According to the presented model, the probability of proton location in shallow potential well (point mutation form) is directly proportional to temperature. It was shown that the point mutation probability decreases with increasing replication velocity.

Synergetics in multiple exciton generation effect in quantum dots

We present detailed analysis of the non-Poissonian population of excitons produced by MEG effect in quantum dots on the base of statistic theory of MEG and synergetic approach for chemical reactions. From the analysis we can conclude that a non-Poissonian distribution of exciton population is evidence of non-linear and non-equilibrium character of the process of multiple generation of excitons in quantum dots at a single photon absorption

Mechanism and Statistic Theory of Multiple Exciton Generation in Quantum Dots

The statistical theory of multiple exciton generation in quantum dots which is based on the Fermi approach to the problem of multiple particle in nucleon-nucleon collisions is presented. Our estimates of the multiple exciton generation efficiency in different quantum dots, induced by absorption of a single photon, are in a good agreement with the experimental data.
