Neutron Star in Covariant $f(Q)$ gravity

Assuming static and spherically symmetric stars with perfect fluid matter, we used realistic equations of state to study neutron stars in covariant $f(Q)$ gravity. The structure profiles and properties of neutron stars such as mass, radius and compactness are obtained through numerical methods using quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic $f(Q)$ models. The results indicate that nonmetricity affects the interior profile deviations of the star, which in turn influence the properties of stars, as illustrated in the mass-radius relation diagram. This effect allows the star to accommodate either more or less matter compared to GR, resulting in a different total mass. For the quadratic model, we cannot generate larger masses, whereas the other two models can give consistent results for both smaller and larger masses of the observed stars. By tuning model parameters, we obtain $\mathcal{M}-\mathcal{R}$ diagrams that are compatible with observational constraints from NICER and LIGO.

Modelling the Accelerating Universe with $f(Q)$ Gravity: Observational Consistency

In this paper, we present a cosmological model within the framework of symmetric teleparallel gravity, focusing on $f(Q)$ gravity, where $Q$ represents the non-metricity scalar. Utilizing cosmological datasets, we derive an accelerating cosmological model by constraining its free parameters. To achieve this, we determine the parametric form of the Hubble parameter using a well-motivated $f(Q)$ function. Remarkably, all obtained values fall within the range suggested by cosmological observations. By employing the best-fit parameters, we calculate the present geometrical parameters and demonstrate the accelerating behaviour of the Universe. Furthermore, we thoroughly examine the evolutionary behaviours of the Universe, noting that our model converges to the $Λ$CDM model at late times. Finally, we investigate the energy conditions and find a violation of the strong energy condition, which could provide a valuable understanding of the nature of dark energy.

Constraining Parameters for the Accelerating Universe in $f(R,\mathcal{L}_{m})$ Gravity

In the paper, we present an accelerating cosmological model in $f(R,\mathcal{L}_{m})$ gravity with the parameter constrained through the cosmological data sets. At the beginning, we have employed a functional form of $f(R,\mathcal{L}_{m}) =\frac{R}{2}+αR^2+\mathcal{L}_{m}^β$, where $α$ and $β$ are model parameters. This model is well motivated from the Starobinsky model in $f(R)$ gravity and the power law form of $f(\mathcal{L}_{m})$. The Hubble parameter has been derived with some algebraic manipulation and constrained by Hubble data and Pantheon$^{+}$ data. With the constraint parameters, present value of deceleration parameter has been obtained to as $q_{0}\approx-0.63$ with the transition at $z_{t}\approx0.7$. It shows the early deceleration and late time acceleration behaviour. The present value of other geometric parameters such as the jerk and snap parameter are obtained to be $j_{0}\approx0.78$ and $s_{0}\approx 0.1$ respectively. The state finder diagnostic test gives the quintessence behaviour at present and converging to $Λ$CDM at late times. Moreover the $Om(z)$ diagnostics gives negative slope which shows that the model favours the state finder diagnostic result. Also the current age of Universe has been obtained as, $t_{0} = 13.64~~Gyrs$. The equation of state parameter also shows the quintessence behaviour. Based on the present analysis, it indicates that the $f(R,\mathcal{L}_{m})$ gravitational theory may be another alternative to study the dark energy models.

Wormholes in the f(R,L,T) theory of gravity

Morris and Thorne developed wormhole solutions in the late 1980s when they discovered a recipe that wormholes must follow for travelers to cross them safely. They describe exotic matter as satisfying $-p_{r} > ρ$, where $p_{r}$ is the radial pressure and $ρ$ is the energy density of the wormhole. This is a notable characteristic of the General Relativity Theory. The current article discusses traversable wormhole solutions in $f(R, L, T)=R+αL+βT$, with $α$ and $β$ are model parameters. The wormhole solutions presented here satisfy the metric constraints of traversability while remarkably avoiding the exotic matter condition, indicating that $f(R, L, T)$ gravity wormholes can be filled with ordinary matter. The derived solutions for the shape function of the wormhole meet the required metric conditions. They exhibit behavior that is comparable to that of wormholes reported in earlier references, which is also the case for our solutions for the energy density of such objects.

Scalar field induced dynamical evolution in teleparallel gravity

In this paper, we investigate the role of scalar field potentials in the dynamical evolution of the Universe. A gravity theory with a non-minimally coupled scalar field with torsion in the geometrical action simulating effective dark energy is considered to study an extended matter bounce scenario. The dynamical behaviour of the equation of state parameter has been studied near the bouncing epoch. Keeping in mind the inflationary behaviour near the bounce, five different scalar field potential functions are explored, and their effect on the equation of state parameter is investigated.

Dynamical System Analysis for Scalar Field Potential in Teleparallel Gravity

In this paper, we have presented a power law cosmological model and its dynamical system analysis in $f(T,ϕ)$ gravity, where $T$ is the torsion scalar and $ϕ$ is the canonical scalar field. The two well-motivated forms of the non-minimal coupling function $F(ϕ)$, the exponential form and the power law form, with exponential potential function, are investigated. The dynamical system analysis is performed by establishing the dimensionless dynamical variables, and the critical points were obtained. The evolution of standard density parameters is analysed for each case. The behaviour of the equation of state (EoS) and deceleration parameter show agreement with the result of cosmological observations. The model parameters are constrained using the existence and the stability conditions of the critical points describing different epochs of the evolution of the Universe.

Attractor behaviour of $f(T)$ modified gravity and the cosmic acceleration

In this paper, we have performed the dynamical system analysis of $f(T)$ gravity cosmological models at both background and perturbation levels. We have presented three models pertaining to three distinct functional forms of $f(T)$. The first form is that of the logarithmic form of the torsion scalar $T$, the second one is in the power law form, and the third one is the combination of the first two forms. For all these three forms of $f(T)$, we have derived the corresponding cosmological parameters in terms of the dynamical variables. Subsequently, the critical points are obtained and the condition(s) of its existence has been derived. Critical points of each model have been analysed individually and the corresponding cosmology are derived. The stability behaviour of these critical points are discussed from the behaviour of the eigenvalues and the phase portraits. At least one stable node has been obtained in each of these models. Further from the evolution plots of the cosmological parameters, the accelerating behaviour of the cosmological models are also verified.

Observational constrained Weyl type $f(Q,T)$ gravity cosmological model and the dynamical system analysis

Using the cosmological date sets, the cosmological parameters are constrained in this paper, with some well known form of Hubble parameter. To understand the dynamics of the Weyl type $f(Q,T)$, functional form $f(Q,T)$ has been introduced, where $Q$ and $T$ respectively represents the nonmetricity scalar and trace of energy-momentum tensor. Using the constrained values of the parameters, the other geometrical parameters are analysed and the accelerating behaviour has been shown. Further to get the complete evolutionary behaviour of the Universe, the dynamical system analysis has been performed.

Baryon asymmetry constraints on Extended Symmetric Teleparallel Gravity

In this paper, we have explored the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry in the Universe to constrain the model parameters in extended symmetric teleparallel gravity (STG) or $f(Q,T)$ gravity, where $Q$ be the nonmetricity and $T$ be the trace of energy momentum tensor. We have considered two functional forms of $f(Q,T)$ to find the baryon asymmetry to entropy ratio calculated at a decoupling temperature. Two different data sets namely Hubble data set and the Hubble+BAO+Pantheon data sets are used to constrain the scale factor and the constrained model is used to obtain the baryon asymmetry to entropy ratio. It is observed that, model constrained from the Hubble data set favour a narrow range of the $f(Q,T)$ gravity parameters to reproduce the observed baryon asymmetry.

Constraining $f(T,B,T_G,B_G)$ gravity by dynamical system analysis

The evolutionary behavior of the Universe has been analysed through the dynamical system analysis in $f(T,B,T_G,B_G)$ gravity, where $T$, $B$, $T_G$, and $B_G$ respectively represent torsion, boundary term, teleparallel Gauss-Bonnet term and Gauss-Bonnet boundary term. We use the transformation, $f(T,B,T_G,B_G)=-T+\mathcal{F}(T, B, T_G, B_G)$ in order to obtain the deviation from the Teleparallel Equivalent of General Relativity (TEGR). Two cosmological models pertaining to the functional form of $\mathcal{F}(T, B, T_G, B_G)$ have been studied. The well motivated forms are: (i) $\mathcal{F}(T, B, T_G, B_G) = f_{0} T^{m} B^{n}T_{G}^{k}$ and (ii) $\mathcal{F}(T, B, T_G, B_G)=b_{0} B + g_{0} T_{G}^{k} $. The evolutionary phases of the Universe have been identified through the detailed analysis of the critical points. Further, with the eigenvalues and phase space diagrams, the stability and attractor nature of the accelerating solution have been explored. The evolution plots have been analyzed for the corresponding cosmology and compatibility with the present observed value of standard density parameters have been shown.

Cosmological models in $f (T, \mathcal{T})$ gravity and the dynamical system analysis

The study addresses matter-coupled modified gravity, particularly $f (T, \mathcal{T})$ gravity, unveiling distinct formalism. The research further discusses stability analysis, and the dynamical system approach, exploring the dynamics of critical points to understand these models' viability better. The dynamical system analysis of the cosmological models in $f(T, \mathcal{T})$ gravity, where $T$ and $\mathcal{T}$ respectively represent the torsion scalar and trace of the energy-momentum tensor has been investigated. It demonstrates how first-order autonomous systems can be treated as cosmological equations and analyzed using standard dynamical system theory techniques. Two forms of the function $f(T,\mathcal{T})$ are considered (i) one with the product of trace and higher order torsion scalar and the other (ii) linear combination of linear trace and squared torsion. By employing this methodology, the research aims to uncover the actual behavior of the Universe. The findings emphasize the graphical representation of these insights, enriching our understanding of cosmological scenarios.

Dynamical Complexity in Teleparallel Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

The stable critical points and their corresponding cosmology are derived in the teleparallel gravity with an added Gauss-Bonnet topological invariant term. We have analyzed the dynamics of the Universe by presenting two cosmological viable models, showing the potential to describe different phases of the evolution of the Universe. The value of the deceleration parameter ($q$), total equation of state parameter ($ω_{tot}$) and dark energy equation of state parameter ($ω_{DE}$) have been presented against each critical point. The existence and stability conditions are also presented. We study the behavior of the phase space trajectories at each critical point. Finally, the evolutionary behavior of the deceleration parameter and the equation of state parameters have been assessed with the initial condition of the dynamical variables, and compatibility has been observed in connection with the present cosmological scenario.

The Fate of the Universe Evolution in the Quadratic Form of Ricci-Gauss-Bonnet Cosmology

We investigate the possibility of future singularity due to the accelerating expansion of the Universe. It has been found that the gravitational theory comprises Ricci scalar $R$ and Gauss-Bonnet invariant $\mathcal{G}$, known as $F(R,\mathcal{G})$ gravity, which can be viewed in the quadratic form. Three models are presented using Hubble parameters to represent a finite and infinite future. The parameters of the models are analyzed on the basis of their physical and geometrical properties. This study also explores the properties of the modified gravitational theory, and neither the future singularity nor the little or pseudo rip is posed as threats to the fate of the Universe. We present scalar perturbation approaches to perturbed evolution equations and demonstrate their stability.

Observational constrained $F(R, \mathcal{G})$ gravity cosmological model and the dynamical system analysis

In this paper, we have analyzed the geometrical and dynamical parameters of $\mathcal{F}(R, \mathcal{G})=αR^2 \mathcal{G}^β$ cosmological model, ($R$, $\mathcal{G}$ being the Ricci scalar and Gauss-Bonnet invariant respectively), constraining the parameters through the cosmological data sets. It is exhibited that the model admits a viable radiation era, and early deceleration followed by late-time acceleration in the matter-dominated era. From the phase-space, portrait stability criterion has been analysed, restricting the parameter $β$, different from $β=-1$. Additionally, we have explored the stability of the model from the behavior of critical points and obtained the present value of the density parameter for matter-dominated and dark energy components, which are identical to those obtained through cosmological data sets.

Influence of three parameters on maximum mass and stability of strange star under linear $f(Q)-$action

This study simulates strange stars in $f(Q)$ gravity with an additional source under an electric field using gravitational decoupling and the complete Gravitational Decoupling (CGD) technique. By employing the Tolman ansatz and the MIT bag model equation of state (EOS), we explore bounded star configurations derived from the $θ_0^0 = ρ$ and $θ_1^1 = p_r$ sectors within the CGD formalism. Our models are subjected to physical viability tests, and we analyze the impact of anisotropy and the electric charge parameter $E_0$ as well as the coupling parameters $α$ and $β_1$. Comparisons are made with observational constraints, including GW190814, neutron stars PSR J1614-2230, PSR J1903+6620, Cen X-3 and LMC X-4. Notably, we achieve the presence of a lower "\textit{mass gap}" component by adjusting parameters $α$ and $β_1$. Our models exhibit well-behaved mass profiles, internal regularity, and stability, with the absence of gravitational collapse verified through the Buchdahl--Andréasson's limit. In addition, we present a detailed physical analysis based on three parameters, $α$ (decoupling strength), $β_1$ ($f(Q)$--coupling) and $Q$ (surface charge). This study provides insights into the behavior of compact objects in $f(Q)$ gravity and expands our understanding of strange star configurations within this framework.

Dynamical system analysis in teleparallel gravity with boundary term

In this paper, we perform the dynamical system analysis of the cosmological models framed in the extended teleparallel gravity, the $f (T, B)$ gravity. We use the mapping, $f(T, B)$ $\rightarrow$-$T$+$\tilde{f}(T, B)$, and define the dynamical variables to form the autonomous dynamical system. The critical points are obtained in two well-motivated forms of $f (T, B)$, one that involves the logarithmic form of the boundary term B, and the other one is the non-linear form of the boundary term. The position of critical points is shown in the different evolutionary phases of the Universe such as radiation, matter, and de-Sitter phase. The stability condition of each of the critical points of both the models is derived and the behavior of each point has been obtained mathematically and through the phase portrait. The evolution of standard density parameters such as radiation ($Ω_{r}$), matter ($Ω_{m}$), and dark energy ($Ω_{DE}$) are also analyzed. Further to connect with the present cosmological scenario, the behavior of deceleration and equation of state parameter both in the dark energy phase ($ω_{DE}$) and total ($ω_{tot}$) are shown from the initial condition of the dynamical variables. The accelerating behaviour has been obtained for both models.

Constrained cosmological model in $f(Q,T)$ gravity with non-linear non-metricity

The $f(Q,T)$ cosmological model has emerged as a promising framework for understanding various aspects of cosmic evolution. In this study, we focused on obtaining the constraints of the free parameters in the non-linear form of non-metricity in $f(Q,T)$ gravity using the $Hubble$, $Pantheon$, and $BAO$ datasets. To determine the best-fit values for the model parameters and the equation of state (EoS) parameter, we employed an MCMC analysis. By examining the error bar plots, we observed that both the model curve and the $Λ$CDM curve successfully passed through the range obtained from the datasets. Additionally, we studied the state finder diagnostics and energy conditions to gain insights into the properties of the model. Furthermore, we conducted an analysis using the $Om(z)$ diagnostic, which provides a null test for the validity of the $Λ$CDM model.

Cosmological Model with Cosmic transit behaviour in Brans-Dicke Theory

We have constructed a dark energy cosmological model in the framework of generalized Brans Dicke theory (GBD) with a self-interacting potential. The source of dark energy is considered through a unified dark fluid (UDF) characterized by a linear equation of state (EoS). A time varying deceleration parameter simulating the cosmic transit behaviour has been introduced to get the dynamical behaviour of the model. The $H(z)$ data have been explored to constrain the model parameters and to study the dynamical aspects of the Brans-Dicke parameter and the scalar field.
