Boltzmann and Tsallis statistical approaches to study Quantum corrections at large distances and clustering of galaxies

Gravity is so different from other fundamental forces that it is now essentially treated as a non-fundamental force of entropic origin. A number of good studies have been carried out in this direction. Quantum gravity has also significantly improved our understanding by combining gravity well with quantum physics. However, there are still many impediments to our understanding especially in the limits of extreme. The effects of quantum gravity start appearing on the scene at Planck length which is the smallest length in nature idealized so far. While as this study incorporates a model which is valid for potential energy corrections at small distances but we have also given a bold try to use it confidently for the corrections at very large distances as well. The model uses two techniques namely Boltzmann and Tsallis statistical approaches to explore the thermodynamics within the ambit of brane world model giving its further modified version. We have computed partition function by using both Boltzmann and Tsallis statistical approaches and then used it to study thermodynamics of the brane world model. We have analyzed both analytically and graphically, the thermodynamic quantities like Helmholtz free energy and specific heat. The thermodynamic stability of the model is also discussed depending on the number of galaxies.

PV criticality of the second order quantum corrected Horava-Lifshitz black hole

In this paper, higher order quantum gravity effects on the thermodynamics of Hořava-Lifshitz black hole investigated. Both Kehagius-Sfetsos and Lu-Mei-Pop solutions of Hořava-Lifshitz black hole considered and higher order corrected thermodynamics quantities obtained. The first order correction is logarithmic and second order correction considered proportional to the inverse of entropy. These corrections are due to the thermal fluctuation and interpreted as quantum loop corrections. Effect of such quantum corrections on the stability and critical points of Horava-Lifshitz black holes studied. We find that higher order correction affects critical point and stability of Lu-Mei-Pop solution and yield to the second order phase transition for the case of Kehagius-Sfetsos solution.

Phase transition of modified Horndeski gravity with new method

In this paper, we investigate the critical points of the $ P-V $ diagram and the phase transitions of the Horndenski black holes. In fact, the usual Horndeski black holes do not have $ P-V $ critical points, hence do not show any phase transitions. However, we successfully modify the Horndeski black hole solution to obtain such a phase transition behavior. This modified black holes solution is satisfied by the equation of state of liquid-gas phase transition. Also, we study the thermodynamics of our modified Horndeski black hole by applying a new method based on the equation of state that originated from the slope of temperature versus entropy. This new prescription provides us a simple powerful way to study the critical behavior and the phase transition of the black holes and concludes the novel results. The analytical interpretation of possible phase transition points leads us to set some nonphysical range on the horizon radius for the black hole.

Charged accelerating AdS black hole of $f(R)$ gravity and the Joule-Thomson expansion

In this paper, the thermodynamical properties and the phase transitions of the charged accelerating anti-de Sitter (AdS) black holes are investigated in the framework of the $f(R)$ gravity. By studying the conditions for the phase transitions, it has been shown that the $P-V$ criticality and the van der Waals like phase transitions can be achieved for $ T \approx T_{c} $. The Joule-Thomson expansion effects are also examined for the charged accelerating AdS black holes of the $f(R)$ gravity. Here, we derive the inversion temperatures as well as the inversion curves. Then, we determine the position of the reverse point for different values of mass $M$ and parameter $b$ for the corresponding black hole. At this point, the Joule-Thompson coefficient is zero. So, in such case, we can say that such point is very important for the finding of cooling - heating regions. Finally, we calculate the ratio of minimum inversion temperature and critical temperature for such black hole.

The temperature and entropy corrections on the charged hairy black holes

In this paper, we consider the first order correction of the entropy and temperature in a charged black hole with a scalar field. Here, we apply such correction for the different cases of black holes. These corrections are due to the thermal fluctuations of statistical physics. Also, we take advantage of such corrections and study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition. Also, we investigate the effect of correction on the critical point and stability of the system. We obtain modified thermodynamics quantities and find effects of thermal fluctuations in the stability of the black hole. We find that stability of black hole is depend on the thermal fluctuations. Finally, we compare the results of the corrected and uncorrected by thermodynamical quantities.

Higher order corrected thermodynamics and statistics of Kerr-Newman-Godel black hole

In this paper, we consider the rotating charged Gödel black hole and study the effect of the higher order corrections of the entropy on the thermodynamics and statistics quantities of the Kerr-Newman-Gödel black hole. The leading order correction is logarithmic while higher-order terms are proportional to the inverse of the area of the black hole. We obtain modified thermodynamics and statistics and find that correction terms are important in the stability of the black hole.

Quantum gravity effects on Hořava-Lifshitz black hole

In this paper, we would like to obtain quantum gravity effects by using Hořava-Lifshitz black hole. We consider logarithmic corrected thermodynamics quantities and investigate the effects of logarithmic correction term. Logarithmic correction comes from thermal fluctuation and may be interpreted as quantum loop corrections. As black hole is a gravitational system, hence we can investigate quantum gravity effect. We find such effects on the black hole stability and obtain domain of correction coefficient.

Holographic superconductor in a deformed four-dimensional STU model

In this paper, we consider deformed STU model in four dimensions including both electric and magnetic charges. Using AdS/CFT correspondence, we study holographic superconductor and obtain transport properties like electrical and thermal conductivities. We obtain transport properties in terms of the black hole magnetic charge and interpret it as magnetic monopole of dual field theory. We find that presence of magnetic charge is necessary to have maximum conductivities, and existence of magnetic monopole with a critical charge (137 e) to reach the maximum superconductivity is important. Also, we show that thermal conductivity increases with increasing of magnetic charge. It may be concluded that the origin of superconductivity is magnetic monopole.

Deformation of the quintom cosmological model and its consequences

In this paper, we investigate the effects of non-commutative phase-space on the quintom cosmological model. In that case, we discuss $Λ_{1}$, $Λ_{2}$ and other cosmological parameters and show that they are associated to deformation parameters $θ$ and $β$. Generally one can say that, the non-commutative parameter plays important role in physics and here also help us to arrange the divergency of cosmological constant. We draw time-dependent scale factor and investigate the effect of non-commutative parameters. Finally, we take advantage from non-commutative phase-space and obtain the deformed Lagrangian for the quintom model. In order to discuss some cosmological phenomena as dark energy and inflation, we employ Neother symmetry.

Higher order quantum corrections of rotating BTZ black hole

In this work, we consider rotating BTZ black hole in three dimensions which is dual of one dimensional holographic superconductors. We applied higher order corrections of the entropy, which interpreted as quantum corrections, to the thermodynamics quantities and study modified thermodynamics. We investigate stability of rotating BTZ black hole under effects of higher order quantum corrections, and find that they affect stability of black hole. So, the small black hole has some instabilities and critical points due to the quantum effects. We also study effect of correction terms on the dual picture of rotating BTZ black hole.

Thermodynamics of higher dimensional black holes with higher order thermal fluctuations

In this paper, we consider higher order corrections of the entropy, which coming from thermal fluctuations, and find their effect on the thermodynamics of higher dimensional charged black holes. Leading order thermal fluctuation is logarithmic term in the entropy while higher order correction is proportional to the inverse of original entropy. We calculate some thermodynamics quantities and obtain the effect of logarithmic and higher order corrections of entropy on them. Validity of the first law of thermodynamics investigated and Van der Waals equation of state of dual picture studied. We find that five-dimensional black hole behaves as Van der Waals, but higher dimensional case have not such behavior. We find that thermal fluctuations are important in stability of black hole hence affect unstable/stable black hole phase transition.

In this letter, we study Langevin diffusion coefficients for the five dimensional $\mathcal{N}=2$ STU model in presence of higher derivative corrections. We obtained effect of black hole charge, corresponding to the chemical potential, on the Langevin diffusion coefficients ratio. We confirm universal behavior of transverse to longitudinal ratio of coefficients.

We consider a charged black hole with a scalar field that is coupled to gravity in (2 + 1)-dimensions. We compute the logarithmic corrections to the corresponding system using two approaches. In the first method we take advantage of thermodynamic properties. In the second method we use the metric function that is suggested by conformal field theory. Finally, we compare the results of the two approaches.

P-V criticality of first-order entropy corrected AdS black holes in massive gravity

We consider a massive black hole in four dimensional AdS space and study the effect of thermal fluctuations on the thermodynamics of the black hole. We consider thermal fluctuations as logarithmic correction terms in the entropy. We analyse the effect of logarithmic correction on thermodynamics potentials like Helmholtz and Gibbs which are found decreasing functions. We study critical points and stability and find that presence of logarithmic correction is necessary to have stable phase and critical point.

Holographic Schwinger effect with a deformed AdS background

In this paper, we consider a deformed AdS background and study effect of deformation parameter on the pair production rate of the Schwinger effect. The electrostatic potential is important for the pair production in the holographic Schwinger effect. In this paper, we analyze the electrostatic potential in a deformed AdS background and investigate the effect of deformation parameter which may be useful to test of AdS/QCD. In the case of zero temperature we find that larger value of the deformation parameter leads to a smaller value of separation length of the test particles on the probe. Also we find a finite maximum of separation length in presence of modification parameter.

Tachyonic matter cosmology with exponential and hyperbolic potentials

In this paper we consider tachyonic matter in spatially at FRW universe, and obtain behavior of some important cosmological parameters for two special cases of potentials. First we assume the exponential potential and then consider hyperbolic cosine type potential. In both cases we obtain behavior of the Hubble, deceleration and EoS parameters. Comparison with observational data suggest the model with hyperbolic cosine type scalar-field potentials has good model to describe universe.

P - V Criticality of Logarithmic Corrected Dyonic Charged AdS Black Hole

In this paper, we consider dyonic charged AdS black hole which is holographic dual of a van der Waals fluid. We use logarithmic corrected entropy and study thermodynamics of the black hole and show that holographic picture is still valid. Critical behaviors and stability also discussed. Logarithmic corrections arises due to thermal fluctuations which are important when size of black hole be small. So, thermal fluctuations interpreted as quantum effect. It means that we can see quantum effect of a black hole which is a gravitational system.
