In the article, in a rectangular domain, by the Fourier method, the initial boundary value problem for a high-order equation with two lines of degeneracy with a fractional derivative in the sense of Caputo is investigated for uniqueness and solvability. Sufficient conditions for the well-posedness of the problem posed are obtained.
The article constructs a general solution of a degenerate equation with a fractional derivative of Dzhrbashyan-Nersesyan. Particular solutions are presented through the Kilbas-Saigo function.

The paper considers a boundary value problem for the high-order Lavrent'ev-Bitsadze equation. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of the solution are found. When substantiating the existence, the problem of "small denominators" arises. Sufficient conditions for the separability of the "small denominator" from zero are found. An example of a boundary value problem not solvable by the Fourier method is given, in the cases rectangle with integer side measurements.

The mixed problem for a degenerate high order equation with a fractional derivative in a rectangular domain is considered in the article. The existence of a solution and its uniqueness are shown by the spectral method.
In this paper, using the similarity method, we construct particular solutions with singularities for degenerate high-order equations. The considered equations have singularities of the first and second kind. Particular solutions are expressed through generalized hypergeometric functions. Sufficient conditions are obtained under which the number of linearly independent solutions is equal to the order of the equation.
