GEM-Occ: From Visual Geometry Evidence to Embodied Semantic Occupancy Memory

Semantic occupancy provides a structured spatial memory for embodied indoor agents by jointly representing occupied regions, observed free space, unknown areas, and object semantics. However, existing indoor occupancy benchmarks and methods mainly focus on single-view prediction or room-level online perception, leaving long-horizon semantic mapping across connected indoor spaces underexplored. We introduce HIOcc, a hierarchical indoor occupancy benchmark that unifies ScanNet, ScanNet++, and Matterport3D under a common sparse semantic occupancy format while preserving their native observation geometries, including perspective RGB-D frames and pano-centric observation groups. HIOcc supports three complementary evaluation regimes: local semantic occupancy prediction, room-level online occupancy mapping, and building-level mapping across connected panoramic environments. We further propose GEM-Occ, a Gaussian Evidence Memory framework for semantic occupancy mapping. Rather than using pointmaps as persistent map states, GEM-Occ treats local visual geometry predictions as transient evidence, converts them into semantic Gaussian occupancy evidence and free-space ray evidence, and fuses them into a persistent hierarchical memory through visibility- and uncertainty-aware causal updates. The memory is organized into local caches, room-level submaps, and a building-level graph, and can be queried at any time through Gaussian-to-occupancy splatting. Experiments on HIOcc show that GEM-Occ improves local occupancy prediction, online map stability, free-space reasoning, revisit consistency, and building-level scalability over prior indoor occupancy and Gaussian-based mapping baselines.

From Articulated Kinematics to Routed Visual Control for Action-Conditioned Surgical Video Generation

Action-conditioned surgical video generation is a critical yet highly challenging problem for robotic surgery. The core difficulty is that low-dimensional control vectors must precisely govern complex image-space evolution. In this work, we propose a kinematic-to-visual lifting paradigm that converts articulated kinematics into a unified set of five image-aligned control modalities. Building on this representation, we introduce a hierarchically routed visual control framework that selectively activates the most relevant control modalities and motion scales. Instead of uniformly applying all control signals, our model performs hierarchical routing to dynamically allocate conditioning capacity. We further design kinematic-prior-guided routing loss functions to ensure physically meaningful, temporally stable, and efficient expert utilization. To improve efficiency, we propose a budgeted training and inference scheme that leverages routing-induced sparsity. By selectively discarding low-significance control pathways during training and execution, our approach enables adaptive computation that is complementary to standard distillation. We additionally construct a new benchmark with curated articulated annotations, obtained through human-in-the-loop semantic labeling and differentiable pose tracking, providing realistic supervision for action-conditioned surgical video generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method consistently improves action faithfulness, visual fidelity, and cross-domain generalization over diverse baselines. Moreover, our efficient variant achieves substantial reductions in latency while maintaining strong control accuracy.

ReWorld: Multi-Dimensional Reward Modeling for Embodied World Models

Recently, video-based world models that learn to simulate the dynamics have gained increasing attention in robot learning. However, current approaches primarily emphasize visual generative quality while overlooking physical fidelity, dynamic consistency, and task logic, especially for contact-rich manipulation tasks, which limits their applicability to downstream tasks. To this end, we introduce ReWorld, a framework aimed to employ reinforcement learning to align the video-based embodied world models with physical realism, task completion capability, embodiment plausibility and visual quality. Specifically, we first construct a large-scale (~235K) video preference dataset and employ it to train a hierarchical reward model designed to capture multi-dimensional reward consistent with human preferences. We further propose a practical alignment algorithm that post-trains flow-based world models using this reward through a computationally efficient PPO-style algorithm. Comprehensive experiments and theoretical analysis demonstrate that ReWorld significantly improves the physical fidelity, logical coherence, embodiment and visual quality of generated rollouts, outperforming previous methods.

OmniNWM: Omniscient Driving Navigation World Models

Autonomous driving world models are expected to work effectively across three core dimensions: state, action, and reward. However, existing methods are typically restricted to fragmented modality modeling, short-horizon drift, and imprecise action control, while lacking intrinsic mechanisms for policy evaluation. In this paper, we introduce OmniNWM, an Omniscient panoramic Navigation World Model that addresses all three dimensions within a consistent probabilistic framework. For State, OmniNWM generates panoramic videos of RGB, semantics, metric depth, and 3D occupancy, ensuring pixel-level alignment across modalities with joint distribution modeling. To mitigate autoregressive exposure bias, we propose a structured panoramic forcing strategy to stabilize long-horizon generation via stochastic manifold thickening. For Action, we introduce canonical geometric action encoding with normalized panoramic Pl\"ucker ray-maps. This representation decouples motion dynamics from sensor intrinsics, enabling precise, zero-shot trajectory control across heterogeneous datasets and camera configurations. For Reward, we derive intrinsic occupancy-grounded dense rewards directly from generated 3D volumes, establishing a reliable closed-loop simulation cycle for evaluating diverse planning agents. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OmniNWM achieves SOTA performance in generation fidelity and control precision, with remarkable zero-shot robustness to novel scenes on NuPlan and in-house datasets with distinct camera rigs. The 1st International Workshop on Disentangled Representation Learning for Controllable Generation (DRL4Real): Methods and Results

This paper reviews the 1st International Workshop on Disentangled Representation Learning for Controllable Generation (DRL4Real), held in conjunction with ICCV 2025. The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between the theoretical promise of Disentangled Representation Learning (DRL) and its application in realistic scenarios, moving beyond synthetic benchmarks. DRL4Real focused on evaluating DRL methods in practical applications such as controllable generation, exploring advancements in model robustness, interpretability, and generalization. The workshop accepted 9 papers covering a broad range of topics, including the integration of novel inductive biases (e.g., language), the application of diffusion models to DRL, 3D-aware disentanglement, and the expansion of DRL into specialized domains like autonomous driving and EEG analysis. This summary details the workshop's objectives, the themes of the accepted papers, and provides an overview of the methodologies proposed by the authors.
