Two-particle correlations in azimuthal angle and pseudorapidity in Be+Be

The NA61/SHINE experiment aims to discover the critical point of strongly interacting matter and study the properties of the onset of deconfinement. These goals are to be achieved by performing a two dimensional phase diagram $(T-μ_B)$ scan by measurements of hadron production properties in proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus interactions as a function of collision energy and system size. In this contribution, the results on two-particle correlations in pseudorapidity and azimuthal angle will be presented for the first time for Be+Be interactions at beam momenta: 20, 30, 40, 75 and 150 GeV/c per nucleon. The NA61/SHINE results will be compared with the already presented results of proton-proton collisions at similar beam momenta as well as to the EPOS model results

Two particle correlations from the energy scan with p+p interactions

The NA61/Shine experiment aims to discover the critical point of strongly interacting matter and study the properties of the onset of deconfinement. These goals are to be achieved by performing a two dimensional phase diagram T-mu_B scan by measurements of hadron production properties in proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus interactions as a function of collision energy and system size. Close to the phase transition and/or close to the critical point large fluctuations are predicted. In this contribution preliminary results on two-particle correlations in pseudorapidity and azimuthal angle will be presented for p+p interactions at beam momenta: 20, 31, 40, 80 and 158 GeV/c. The NA61/Shine results will be compared with the corresponding data of other experiments and model predictions. A striking evolution with collision energy is observed.

Transverse momentum fluctuations and Δη-Δϕcorrelations in p+p interactions at the CERN SPS energies

The NA61/SHINE experiment aims to discover the critical point of strongly interacting matter and study the properties of the onset of deconfinement. These goals are to be achieved by performing a two dimensional phase diagram (T-μ_B) scan by measurements of hadron production properties in proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus interactions as a function of collision energy and system size. Close to the critical point an increase of fluctuations is predicted. In this contribution preliminary results on transverse momentum fluctuations and two-particle pseudorapidity/azimuthal angle correlations from the NA61/SHINE energy scan of p+p collisions will be presented. These new results will be compared with NA49 data on central Pb+Pb collisions and model predictions.
