Null limit of large-charge correlators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ Super-Yang-Mills theory

We present a conjecture for the double-logarithmic behavior of the logarithm of large-charge correlators in the null limit in planar $\mathcal{N} = 4$ Super-Yang-Mills theory. Generalizing earlier results for four- and five-point functions, our proposal predicts this behavior for $n$-point functions to all loops in terms of the tilted cusp anomalous dimension. In the dual amplitude description, it reproduces the expected small-mass behavior of massive amplitudes in the equal-mass limit.

Classical correlation functions at strong coupling from hexagonalization

We study correlation functions of half-BPS operators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ Super-Yang-Mills at strong coupling, in the classical limit where operator dimensions scale with the coupling. We focus on the two-dimensional kinematics corresponding in the dual description to strings propagating in $AdS_{3}\times S^{3}$. Using the hexagon formalism, we show that correlation functions exponentiate in this regime and are governed by the free energy of an associated set of Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz (TBA) equations. These equations are structurally equivalent to the Gaiotto--Moore--Neitzke equations encoding BPS spectra in $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetric field theories. Exploiting this correspondence, we apply wall-crossing techniques to extend the TBA framework and formulate a $\chi$-system applicable both to polygonal hexagon tilings and to closed geometries describing correlators of single-trace operators. In particular, for four-point functions, this construction generalizes the results of Caetano and Toledo for minimal surfaces in $AdS_{2}\times S^{1}$.

Exploring Structure Constants in Planar $\mathcal{N} = 4$ SYM: From Small Spin to Strong Coupling

We study the structure constants of two conformal primary operators and one spinning operator in planar $\mathcal{N} = 4$ Super-Yang-Mills theory using the hexagon formalism. By analytically continuing in the spin, we derive a formula for computing these structure constants at any coupling in the small-spin limit, up to a normalization factor. This formula allows us to explore their analytical properties at strong coupling. In this regime, using classical string calculations and a suitable ansatz, we extend our analysis to finite-spin operators, verifying recent two-loop results for structure constants in string theory and generalizing them to operators with arbitrary R-charges.

The Three-Point Form Factor of $\textrm{Tr}\,\phi^3$ to Six Loops

We study the three-point form factor of the length-three half-BPS operator ($\textrm{Tr}\,\phi^3$) in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ Super-Yang-Mills theory, using analyticity and integrability methods. We find that the functions describing the form factor in perturbation theory live in the same restrictive space of multiple polylogarithms as the one describing the form factor of the stress-tensor operator ($\textrm{Tr}\,\phi^2$). Furthermore, we find that the leading-order data in the collinear limit provided by the form factor operator product expansion (FFOPE) is enough to fix the form factor uniquely, at least through six loops. We perform various tests of our results using the subleading FFOPE corrections. We also analyze the form factor in the Regge limit where two Mandelstam invariants are large; we obtain a compact representation for the form factor in this limit which is valid to all orders in the coupling.

Wilson Loop Duality and OPE for Super Form Factors of Half-BPS Operators

We propose a dual Wilson loop description for the MHV super form factors of half-BPS operators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ super-Yang-Mills theory. In this description, the local operators are represented by on-shell states, made out of zero-momentum particles, that are absorbed by a null periodic super Wilson loop. We present evidence for this duality at weak coupling, by performing an explicit calculation of the Wilson loop matrix elements through one loop. At tree level, the interactions localize at the cusps of the loop, revealing a simple connection between the super form factors and the $m=2$ tree amplituhedron. At loop level, we show that the Wilson loop calculation reproduces the known results for the super form factors. Inspired by this duality, we extend the OPE program developed for the form factors of the Lagrangian to the super form factors of the higher-charge operators. We introduce non-perturbative axioms and conjectures for the main building blocks that govern the exchange of the lightest flux-tube excitations. These blocks appear as simple refinements of the form factor transitions introduced in earlier OPE studies. They are expressed at any value of the 't Hooft coupling in terms of the tilted Beisert-Eden-Staudacher kernel. We carry out checks of our conjectures up to two loops at weak coupling for three- and four-point form factors of half-BPS operators of various lengths, finding perfect agreement with perturbative data.

An Origin Story for Amplitudes

We classify origin limits of maximally helicity violating multi-gluon scattering amplitudes in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ super-Yang-Mills theory, where a large number of cross ratios approach zero, with the help of cluster algebras. By analyzing existing perturbative data, and bootstrapping new data, we provide evidence that the amplitudes become the exponential of a quadratic polynomial in the large logarithms. With additional input from the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz at strong coupling, we conjecture exact expressions for amplitudes with up to 8 gluons in all origin limits. Our expressions are governed by the tilted cusp anomalous dimension evaluated at various values of the tilt angle.

Structure constants of short operators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM theory

We present an integrability-based conjecture for the three-point functions of single-trace operators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ super-Yang-Mills theory at finite coupling, in the case where two operators are protected. Our proposal is based on the hexagon representation for structure constants of long operators, which we complete to incorporate operators of any length using data from the TBA/QSC formalism. We perform various tests of our conjecture, at weak and strong coupling, finding agreement with the gauge theory through 5 loops for the shortest three-point function and with string theory in the classical limit.

Fishnet four-point integrals: integrable representations and thermodynamic limits

We consider four-point integrals arising in the planar limit of the conformal "fishnet" theory in four dimensions. They define a two-parameter family of higher-loop Feynman integrals, which extend the series of ladder integrals and were argued, based on integrability and analyticity, to admit matrix-model-like integral and determinantal representations. In this paper, we prove the equivalence of all these representations using exact summation and integration techniques. We then analyze the large-order behaviour, corresponding to the thermodynamic limit of a large fishnet graph. The saddle-point equations are found to match known two-cut singular equations arising in matrix models, enabling us to obtain a concise parametric expression for the free-energy density in terms of complete elliptic integrals. Interestingly, the latter depends non-trivially on the fishnet aspect ratio and differs from a scaling formula due to Zamolodchikov for large periodic fishnets, suggesting a strong sensitivity to the boundary conditions. We also find an intriguing connection between the saddle-point equation and the equation describing the Frolov-Tseytlin spinning string in $AdS_{3}\times S^{1}$, in a generalized scaling combining the thermodynamic and short-distance limits.

The Origin of the Six-Gluon Amplitude in Planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM

We study the maximally-helicity-violating (MHV) six-gluon scattering amplitude in planar $\mathcal{N} = 4$ super-Yang-Mills theory at finite coupling when all three cross ratios are small. It exhibits a double logarithmic scaling in the cross ratios, controlled by a handful of "anomalous dimensions" that are functions of the coupling constant alone. Inspired by known seven-loop results at weak coupling and the integrability-based pentagon OPE, we present conjectures for the all-order resummation of these anomalous dimensions. At strong coupling, our predictions agree perfectly with the string theory analysis. Intriguingly, the simplest of these anomalous dimensions coincides with one describing the light-like limit of the octagon, namely the four-point function of large-charge BPS operators.

Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz for Fishnet CFT

We present the TBA equations and the Y-system for the exact spectrum of general multi-magnon local operators in the $D$-dimensional anisotropic version of the bi-scalar fishnet CFT. The mixing matrix of such operators is given in terms of fishnet planar graphs of multi-wheel and multi-spiral type. These graphs probe the two main building blocks of the TBA approach that are the magnon dispersion relation and the magnon scattering matrix and which we both obtain by diagonalising suitable graph-building operators. We also obtain the dual version of the TBA equations, which relates, in the continuum limit, $D$-dimensional graphs to two dimensional sigma models in $AdS_{D+1}$. It allows us to verify a general formula obtained by A.~Zamolodchikov for the critical coupling.

Three-point functions at strong coupling in the BMN limit

We consider structure constants of single-trace operators at strong coupling in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM theory using the hexagon formalism. We concentrate on heavy-heavy-light correlators where the heavy operators are BMN operators, with large R-charges and finite anomalous dimensions, and the light one is a finite-charge chiral primary operator. They describe the couplings between two highly boosted strings and a supergravity mode in the bulk dual. In the hexagon framework, two sums over virtual magnons are needed to bind the hexagons together around the light operator. We evaluate these sums explicitly at strong coupling, for a certain choice of BMN operators, and show that they factorise into a ratio of Gamma functions and a simple stringy prefactor. The former originates from giant mirror magnons scanning the AdS geometry while the latter stems from small fluctuations around the BMN vacuum. The resulting structure constants have poles at positions where an enhanced mixing with double-trace operators is expected and zeros whenever the process is forbidden by supersymmetry. We also discuss the transition to the classical regime, when the length of the light operator scales like the string tension, where we observe similitudes with the Neumann coefficients of the pp-wave String Field Theory vertex.

Hexagons and Correlators in the Fishnet Theory

We investigate the hexagon formalism in the planar 4d conformal fishnet theory. This theory arises from N=4 SYM by a deformation that preserves both conformal symmetry and integrability. Based on this relation, we obtain the hexagon form factors for a large class of states, including the BMN vacuum, some excited states, and the Lagrangian density. We apply these form factors to the computation of several correlators and match the results with direct Feynman diagrammatic calculations. We also study the renormalisation of the hexagon form factor expansion for a family of diagonal structure constants and test the procedure at higher orders through comparison with a known universal formula for the Lagrangian insertion.

ABJM flux-tube and scattering amplitudes

There is a number of indications that scattering amplitudes in the Aharony-Bergman-Jafferis-Maldacena theory might have a dual description in terms of a holonomy of a supergauge connection on a null polygonal contour in a way analogous to the four-dimensional maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. However, so far its explicit implementations evaded a successful completion. The difficulty is intimately tied to the lack of the T-self-duality of the sigma model on the string side of the gauge/string correspondence. Unscathed by the last misfortune, we initiate with this study an application of the pentagon paradigm to scattering amplitudes of the theory. With the language being democratic and nondiscriminatory to whether one considers a Wilson loop expectation value or an amplitude, the success in the application of the program points towards a possible unified observable on the field theory side. Our present consideration is focused on two-loop perturbation theory in the planar limit, begging for higher loop data in order to bootstrap current analysis to all orders in the 't Hooft coupling.

Continuum limit of fishnet graphs and AdS sigma model

We consider the continuum limit of 4d planar fishnet diagrams using integrable spin chain methods borrowed from the $\mathcal{N}=4$ Super-Yang-Mills theory. These techniques give us control on the scaling dimensions of single-trace operators for all values of the coupling constant in the fishnet theory. We use them to study the thermodynamical limit of the BMN operator corresponding to the spin chain ferromagnetic vacuum. We find that its scaling dimension exhibits a critical behaviour when the coupling constant approaches Zamolodchikov's critical coupling. Analysis close to that point suggests that the continuum limit of the fishnet graphs is controlled by the two-dimensional $AdS_{5}$ non-linear sigma model. More generally, we present evidence that the fishnet diagrams define an integrable lattice regularization of the $AdS_{5}$ model. A system of massless TBA equations is derived for the tachyon energy by dualizing the TBA equations of the weakly coupled planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM theory.

Gluing Ladders into Fishnets

We use integrability at weak coupling to compute fishnet diagrams for four-point correlation functions in planar $\phi^4$ theory. The results are always multi-linear combinations of ladder integrals, which are in turn built out of classical polylogarithms. The Steinmann relations provide a powerful constraint on such linear combinations, leading to a natural conjecture for any fishnet diagram as the determinant of a matrix of ladder integrals.

Structure constants at wrapping order

We consider structure constants of single trace operators in planar $\mathcal{N}$ = 4 Super-Yang-Mills theory within the hexagon framework. The standard procedure for forming a three point function out of two hexagons develops divergences when the effects of virtual particles wrapping around the operators are taken into account. In this paper, we explain how to renormalize these divergences away and obtain definite predictions, at the leading wrapping order, for some of the structure constants that parameterize the OPE of two chiral primaries. We test our method at weak coupling against the four loop planar correction to the BPS-BPS-Konishi OPE coefficient, derived recently in the field theory. At strong coupling, we compare our expressions with the structure constants obtained in string theory for three semiclassical strings.

Asymptotic Four Point Functions

We initiate the study of four-point functions of large BPS operators at any value of the coupling. We do it by casting it as a sum over exchange of superconformal primaries and computing the structure constants using integrability. Along the way, we incorporate the nested Bethe ansatz structure to the hexagon formalism for the three-point functions and obtain a compact formula for the asymptotic structure constant of a non-BPS operator in a higher rank sector.

Gluing Hexagons at Three Loops

We perform extensive three-loop tests of the hexagon bootstrap approach for structure constants in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM theory. We focus on correlators involving two BPS operators and one non-BPS operator in the so-called $SL(2)$ sector. At three loops, such correlators receive wrapping corrections from mirror excitations flowing in either the adjacent or the opposing channel. Amusingly, we find that the first type of correction coincides exactly with the leading wrapping correction for the spectrum (divided by the one-loop anomalous dimension). We develop an efficient method for computing the second type of correction for operators with any spin. The results are in perfect agreement with the recently obtained three-loop perturbative data by Chicherin, Drummond, Heslop, Sokatchev [2] and by Eden [3]. We also derive the integrand for general multi-particle wrapping corrections, which turns out to take a remarkably simple form. As an application we estimate the loop order at which various new physical effects are expected to kick-in.
