Enhanced anisotropy and study of magnetization reversal in Co/C60 bilayer thin film

The interface between organic semiconductor [OSC]/ferromagnetic [FM] material can exhibit ferromagnetism due to their orbital hybridization. Charge/spin transfer may occur from FM to OSC layer leading to the formation of `spinterface' i.e. the interface exhibiting a finite magnetic moment. In this work, the magnetic properties of Co/C$_{60}$ bilayer thin film have been studied to probe the interface between Co and C$_{60}$ layer. Polarized neutron reflectivity [PNR] measurement indicates that the thickness and moment of the spinterface are $\sim$ 2 $\pm$ 0.18 nm and 0.8 $\pm$ 0.2 $μ_B$/cage, respectively. The comparison of the magnetization reversal between the Co/C$_{60}$ bilayer and the parent single layer Co thin film reveals that spinterface modifies the domain microstructure. Further, the anisotropy of the bilayer system shows a significant enhancement ($\sim$ two times) in comparison to its single layer counterpart which is probably due to an additional interfacial anisotropy arising from the orbital hybridization at the Co/C$_{60}$ interface.

Classical and Quantum Results on Logarithmic Terms in the Soft Theorem in Four Dimensions

We explore the logarithmic terms in the soft theorem in four dimensions by analyzing classical scattering with generic incoming and outgoing states and one loop quantum scattering amplitudes. The classical and quantum results are consistent with each other. Although most of our analysis in quantum theory is carried out for one loop amplitudes in a theory of (charged) scalars interacting via gravitational and electromagnetic interactions, we expect the results to be valid more generally.

Subleading Soft Theorem for arbitrary number of external soft photons and gravitons

We obtain the subleading soft theorem for a generic theory of quantum gravity, for arbitrary number of soft photons and gravitons and for arbitrary number of finite energy particles with arbitrary mass and spin when all the soft particles are soft in the same rate. This result is valid at tree level for spacetime dimensions equal to four and five and to all loops in spacetime dimensions greater than five. We verify that in classical limit low energy photon and graviton radiation decouple from each other.

Testing Subleading Multiple Soft Graviton Theorem for CHY Prescription

In arXiv:1707.06803 we derived the subleading multiple soft graviton theorem in a generic quantum theory of gravity for arbitrary number of soft external gravitons and arbitrary number of finite energy external states carrying arbitrary mass and spin. In this paper we verify this explicitly using the CHY formula for tree level scattering amplitudes of arbitrary number of gravitons in Einstein gravity. We pay special care to fix the signs of the amplitudes and resolve an apparent discrepancy between our general results in arXiv:1707.06803 and previous results on soft graviton theorem from CHY formula.

Subleading Soft Theorem for Multiple Soft Gravitons

We derive the subleading soft graviton theorem in a generic quantum theory of gravity for arbitrary number of soft external gravitons and arbitrary number of finite energy external states carrying arbitrary mass and spin. Our results are valid to all orders in perturbation theory when the number of non-compact space-time dimensions is six or more, but only for tree amplitudes for five or less non-compact space-time dimensions due to enhanced contribution to loop amplitudes from the infrared region.
