Einstein-Aether Theory With and Without Einstein

The exact static spherically symmetric solutions for pure-aether theory and Einstein-aether theory are presented. It is shown that both theories can deliver the Schwarzschild metric, but only the Einstein-aether theory contains solutions with "almost-Schwarzschild" metrics that satisfy Einstein's experiments. Two specific solutions are of special interest: one in pure-aether theory that derives the attractive nature of gravitation as a result of Minskowski signature of the metric, and one - the Jacobson solution- of Einstein-aether theory with "almost-Schwarzschild" metric and non-zero Ricci tensor.

Tensor Potential Description of Matter and Space, III. Gravitation

A non-geometrical (but with curved space) theory of gravitation characterized by a vector field representing gravitational matter and a metric tensor presenting space is presented. It is derived from a more general theory of matter and space in which matter, described by a 3-index tensor potential, is the prime entity and space is deducible and cannot exist without matter. Philosophically, instead of geometrization of physics, the new theory advances an idea of materialization of space. The equations that govern the theory of gravitation are deduced from the equations of main theory and have a completely different form as compared to Einstein's equations of General Relativity. An exact solution for spherical symmetry of a point mass with a Schwarzschild type metric tensor is obtained. The subject of gravitational waves and cosmology is discussed. It is shown that gravitational waves can exist within linear approximation. In this case, the metrics tensor varies only in time domain while remaining Euclideanly flat in spatial components.

Tensor Potential Description of Matter and Space, II Semi-guage and the Law of Conservation

Considered a unified field theory approach describing matter and space (metric tensor) by means of a 3-index tensor $P^{i}_{jk}$. It is shown that if the Lagrangian has partial U(1) gauge (semi-gauge) of the type $P^{i}_{jk}->P^{i}_{jk}+a δ{^i_j} ϕ{_{,k}}+b δ{^i_k} ϕ{_{,j}}+cg_{jk}g^{mi} ϕ{_{,m}}$ where a,b,c are constants, then the Euler equations of motion contain the covariant low of conservation in the form $J^{k}_{;k}=0$.

Tensor Potential Description of Matter and Space

A unified field theory for the description of matter in a curved space is discussed. The description is based on a standard Lagrangianian formalism in a pseudo-Euclidian 4D continuum using a 3-index tensor as independent variables. The theory defines gravitational matter as a vector field and contains the Einstein-Schwarzschild solution for the metric tensor in the case of stationary spherical symmetry. Maxwell's equations, generalized for curved space, offer an alternative to the expanding Universe explanation for the red shift phenomenon. The theory contains a covariant law for conservation of matter and strictly upports the Mach principle. A perturbation method allows a natural transition to the special relativity, providing an explanation and the scale of elementary particles parameters.
