Ground state solutions for weighted fourth-order Kirchhoff problem via Nehari method

In this article, we study the following non local problem $$g\big(\int_{B}w(x) |\Delta u|^{2}\big)\Delta(w(x)\Delta u) =|u|^{q-2}u +\ f(x,u) \quad\mbox{ in }\quad B, \quad u=\frac{\partial u}{\partial n}=0 \quad\mbox{ on } \quad\partial B,$$ where $B$ is the unit ball in $\mathbb{R}^{4}$ and $ w(x)$ is a singular weight of logarithm type. The non-linearity is a combination of a reaction source $f(x,u)$ which is critical in view of exponential inequality of Adams' type and a polynomial function. The Kirchhoff function $g$ is positive and continuous. By using the Nehari manifold method , the quantitative deformation lemma and degree theory results, we establish the existence of a ground state solution.

Nodal solutions for Logarithmic weighted $(N, p)$-Laplacian problem with exponential nonlinearities

The main purpose of this paper is to study the existence of least energy sign-changing solutions for Logarithmic weighted $(N,p)$-Laplacian problem in the unit ball $B$ of $\mathbb{R}^{N},$ $N>2$. The non-linearity of the equation is assumed to have exponential growth in view of Trudinger-Moser type inequalities. In order to obtain our existence result, we use the constrained minimization in Nehari set, the quantitative deformation Lemma and degree theory results.

Ground state solutions for weighted biharmonic problem involving non linear exponential growth

In this article, we study the following problem $$\Delta(w(x)\Delta u) = \ f(x,u) \quad\mbox{ in }\quad B, \quad u=\frac{\partial u}{\partial n}=0 \quad\mbox{ on } \quad\partial B,$$ where $B$ is the unit ball of $\mathbb{R}^{4}$ and $ w(x)$ a singular weight of logarithm type. The reaction source $f(x,u)$ is a radial function with respect to $x$ and it is critical in view of exponential inequality of Adams' type. The existence result is proved by using the constrained minimization in Nehari set coupled with the quantitative deformation lemma and degree theory results.

Nodal solutions for the weighted biharmonic equation with critical exponential growth

In this paper, we deal with the logarithmic weighted fourth order elliptic equation in the unit disk of $B\subset\R^{4}$: $$\displaystyle(P_{\lambda})~~\Delta(w(x) \Delta u) = \lambda\ f(x,u) \quad\mbox{ in }\quad B, \quad u=\frac{\partial u}{\partial n} \quad\mbox{ on } \quad\partial B,$$ where the nonlinearity $f$ is assumed to have exponential critical growth in view of Adam's type inequalities. By using the constrained minimization in Nehari set combined with the quantitative deformation lemma and degree theory, we prove the existence of nodal solutions to the problem $(P_{\lambda})$ .

Nodal solutions for Logarithmic weighted $N$-Laplacian problem with exponential nonlinearities

In this article, we study the following problem $$-{\rm div} (\omega(x)|\nabla u|^{N-2} \nabla u) = \lambda\ f(x,u) \quad\mbox{ in }\quad B, \quad u=0 \quad\mbox{ on } \quad\partial B,$$ where $B$ is the unit ball of $\mathbb{R^{N}}$, $N\geq2$ and $ w(x)$ a singular weight of logarithm type. The reaction source $f(x,u)$ is a radial function with respect to $x$ and is subcritical or critical with respect to a maximal growth of exponential type. By using the constrained minimization in Nehari set coupled with the quantitative deformation lemma and degree theory, we prove the existence of nodal solutions.

Weighted biharmonic equations involving continous potentiel under exponential nonlinear growth

We deal with a weighted biharmonic problem in the unit ball of $\mathbb{R}^{4}$. The non-linearity is assumed to have critical exponential growth in view of Adam's type inequalities. The weight $w(x)$ is of logarithm type and the potential $V$ is a positive continuous function on $\overline{B}$. It is proved that there is a nontrivial positive weak solution to this problem by the mountain Pass Theorem. We avoid the loss of compactness by proving a concentration compactness result and by a suitable asymptotic condition.

Fourth order weighted elliptic problem under exponential nonlinear growth

We deal with nonlinear weighted biharmonic problem in the unit ball of $\mathbb{R}^{4}$. The weight is of logarithm type. The nonlinearity is critical in view of Adam's inequalities in the weighted Sobolev space $W^{2,2}_{0}(B,w)$. We prove the existence of non trivial solutions via the critical point theory. The main difficulty is the loss of compactness due to the critical exponential growth of the nonlinear term $f$. We give a new growth condition and we point out its importance for checking the Palais-Smale compactness condition.
