On some generalized reinforced random walks on integers

We consider Reinforced Random Walks where transition probabilities are a function of the proportion of times the walk has traversed an edge. We give conditions for recurrence or transience. A phase transition is observed, similar to Pemantle \cite{Pem000} on trees.

Random walk on a building of type $\tilde{A}_r$ and Brownian motion of the Weyl chamber

In this paper we study a random walk on an affine building of type $\tilde{A}_r$, whose radial part, when suitably normalized, converges to the Brownian motion of the Weyl chamber. This gives a new discrete approximation of this process, alternative to the one of Biane \cite{Bia2}. This extends also the link at the probabilistic level between Riemannian symmetric spaces of the noncompact type and their discrete counterpart, which had been previously discovered by Bougerol and Jeulin in rank one \cite{BJ}. The main ingredients of the proof are a combinatorial formula on the building and the estimate of the transition density proved in \cite{AST}.

Bounded harmonic functions for the Heckman--Opdam Laplacian

We describe the set of bounded harmonic functions for the Heckman--Opdam Laplacian, when the multiplicity function is larger than 1/2. We prove that this set is a vector space of dimension the cardinality of the Weyl group. We give some consequences in terms of the associated hypergeometric functions.

The Poisson boundary of triangular matrices in a number field

The aim of this note is to describe the Poisson boundary of the group of invertible triangular matrices with coefficients in a number field. It generalizes to any dimension and to any number field a result of Brofferio concerning the Poisson boundary of random rational affinities.

A note on multi-type cookie random walk on integers

We consider a random walk on integers where at the first visits to a site the walker gets a positive drift, but where after a certain number of visits the walker gets a negative drift. We prove that the walker is almost surely transient to the left with positive speed.

The Heckman-Opdam Markov processes

We introduce and study the natural counterpart of the Dunkl Markov processes in a negatively curved setting. We give a semimartingale decomposition of the radial part, and some properties of the jumps. We prove also a law of large numbers, a central limit theorem, and the convergence of the normalized process to the Dunkl process. Eventually we describe the asymptotic behavior of the infinite loop as it was done by Anker, Bougerol and Jeulin in the symmetric spaces setting in \cite{ABJ}.
