Attosecond Reconstruction of Strain Tensors via Electronic Fingerprints

We demonstrate an attosecond transient absorption spectroscopy (ATAS) scheme for reconstructing strain tensors in two-dimensional materials. Using strained graphene as a prototype system, we show that the fishbone structures in ATAS serve as distinctive spectral fingerprints of strain, where strain-induced shifts and splittings of van Hove singularities encode the magnitude and orientation of the strain tensor, respectively. By combining density-matrix simulations with analytical modeling, we establish a direct mapping between transient absorption spectra and strain tensors, enabling accurate retrieval of lattice deformation from ultrafast electronic responses. Our work introduces an attosecond spectroscopic paradigm for ultrafast strain metrology, where electronic fingerprints replace conventional structural probes for sensing lattice deformation in quantum materials.

Observation of the $χ_{cJ}$ decays into $pK^{-}\barΛη+\mathrm{c.c.}$

By analyzing $(2712.4 \pm 14.3) \times 10^{6}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decays $χ_{cJ} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}$ ($J=0,1,2$) are observed for the first time, with statistical significances exceeding $5σ$ for all three $χ_{cJ}$ states. The measured branching fractions are $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c0} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}) = (5.3 \pm 0.7 \pm 0.5) \times 10^{-5}$, $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}) = (9.8 \pm 0.6 \pm 0.6) \times 10^{-5}$, and $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c2} \to pK^{-}\barΛη+ \mathrm{c.c.}) = (9.3 \pm 0.6 \pm 0.6) \times 10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Structures consistent with the known hyperon resonances $Λ(1520)$ and $\barΛ(1690)$ are seen in the $pK^{-}$ and $\barΛη$ invariant mass spectra, respectively. The reported branching fractions include both resonant and non-resonant contributions. These results provide new experimental information on hadronic decays of $P$-wave charmonium states and contribute to the understanding of baryon production and hadronization dynamics in the nonperturbative QCD regime.

FLAT: FLow-Aligned Training of Unrolled Networks for MRI Reconstruction

Unrolled networks are widely used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) reconstruction for their efficiency. Structured as a series of neural network stages (or cascades), an unrolled network takes a low-quality input and passes it sequentially through each stage to iteratively refine the reconstruction. However, unrolled networks typically exhibit unstable output quality across cascades, resulting in sub-optimal final reconstruction results. In this work, we address this inherent limitation of unrolled networks, drawing inspiration from recent Flow Matching paradigm. We first theoretically show that unrolled networks can be viewed as discretizations of approximate conditional probability flows. This connection shows that unrolled networks and Flow Matching are analogous in MRI reconstruction. Building upon this insight, we propose FLow-Aligned Training (FLAT), which (1) derives important cascade parameters from the Flow Matching discretization; and (2) aligns intermediate reconstructions with the ideal Flow Matching trajectory to improve cascade iteration stability and convergence. Experiments on three MRI datasets show that FLAT results in a stable trajectory across sub-networks, improving the quality of the final reconstruction.

Evidence for $η_{c}(2S)\to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$ and observation of $χ_{cJ} \to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$

Using $(2.712\pm0.014)\times 10^9$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the $ψ(3686) \to γp\bar{p}π^+π^-π^0$ process is investigated. Evidence for the decay of $η_{c}(2S)\to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$ is found with a signal significance of 3.3$σ$. The product of branching fractions of $\mathcal{B}[ψ(3686)\to γη_{c}(2S)]\times\mathcal{B}[η_{c}(2S)\to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}]$ is determined to be $(3.4\pm0.5\pm0.8) \times 10^{-6}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The hadronic decays of $χ_{cJ} \to p\bar{p}π^+π^-π^0$$~(J=0,1,2)$ are observed, and their branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c0}\to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0})=(4.79\pm 0.01\pm0.40) \times 10^{-3}$, $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1}\to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0})=(2.13\pm 0.01\pm0.17) \times 10^{-3}$, and $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c2}\to p\bar{p}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0})=(3.72\pm 0.01\pm0.29) \times 10^{-3}$, respectively. Furthermore, the branching fractions for the intermediate processes $χ_{cJ}\to p\bar{p}ω$ are updated with significantly improved precision: $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c0}\to p\bar{p}ω)=(5.76\pm0.01\pm0.42)\times10^{-4}$, $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1}\to p\bar{p}ω)=(1.85\pm0.01\pm0.13)\times10^{-4}$, and $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c2}\to p\bar{p}ω)=(4.51\pm0.01\pm0.33)\times10^{-4}$, respectively.

By analyzing $e^+e^-$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.33~fb$^{-1}$ collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.128 to 4.226~GeV, we report the observations of the hadronic decays $D^+_s\to K^0_SK^0_Sπ^+π^0$ and $D^+_s\to K^0_S K^+π^0π^0$. Their decay branching fractions are determined to be ${\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to K^0_SK^0_S π^+π^0)=(4.08\pm0.46_{\rm stat}\pm0.45_{\rm syst})\times 10^{-3}$ and ${\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to K^0_S K^+π^0π^0)=(3.32\pm0.64_{\rm stat}\pm0.31_{\rm syst})\times 10^{-3}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

OmniAlign: A Unified Multilingual Aligner for Word and Sentence Alignment

Cross-lingual sequence alignment is fundamental for building and exploiting parallel corpora, spanning mappings from documents and sentences down to words and subwords. Existing tools, however, typically specialize in a single granularity, so practitioners often need separate systems for word- and sentence-level alignment---especially in multilingual and long-text settings. We present OmniAlign, a unified multilingual aligner that supports both word-level and sentence-level alignment with a single lightweight model. Built on an encoder-only backbone with strong long-context modeling, OmniAlign induces word alignments from contextualized token similarity matrices, and obtains document-level $m$--$n$ sentence alignments via sentence embeddings combined with dynamic programming. To balance fine-grained alignment accuracy and sentence-representation quality, we use a four-stage training pipeline: alignment-oriented continued pre-training, self-supervised learning, supervised fine-tuning on human annotations, and sentence-embedding distillation from a strong multilingual teacher. Experiments show that OmniAlign achieves highly competitive performance on both word- and sentence-alignment benchmarks and generalizes well to unseen language pairs. Surprisingly, later-stage supervised fine-tuning on short texts further improves alignment quality while retaining the long-context understanding acquired in earlier training, keeping the model robust on long-text word alignment. \normalsize {\color{blue}\textbf{Code}: https://github.com/MilkDargon/OmniAlign}\par {\color{blue}\textbf{Model}: https://huggingface.co/WPS-Qingqiu/OmniAlign}

Amplitude Analysis of Singly Cabibbo-Suppressed Decay $Λ^{+}_{c}\to p K^{+} K^{-}$

Using a sample of $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.4 $\rm{fb}^{-1}$ collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider and produced at center-of-mass energies from $4600$ to $4698~\rm{MeV}$, an amplitude analysis is performed of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $Λ^{+}_{c}\to pK^{+}K^{-}$. The branching fractions of $Λ^{+}_{c}\to pϕ(1020)$, $pf_{0}(980)$, $Λ(1405)K^{+}$, and $Λ(1670)K^{+}$ are measured, where the latter two modes are decays that are observed for the first time. At the same time, with the detection efficiency based on the results of the amplitude analysis, the branching fraction of $Λ^{+}_{c}\to pK^{+}K^{-}$ is updated to be $(9.94\pm0.65_{\text{stat.}}\pm0.50_{\text{syst.}})\times10^{-4}$, which is consistent with the current world average value within one standard deviation. The result supersedes the previous BESIII measurement with precision improved by approximately a factor of 1.5.

Measurement of Branching Fraction and Transition Magnetic Moment of the Hyperon Dalitz Decay $Σ^0 \rightarrow Λe^+e^-$

Based on a data sample of 10 billion $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the Dalitz decay $Σ^0 \rightarrow Λe^+e^-$ is studied experimentally for the first time. The $Σ^0$ hyperons are produced through the process $J/ψ\rightarrow Σ^0\barΣ^0$ and analyzed using a double-tag method. The absolute branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(Σ^0 \rightarrow Λe^+e^-) = (6.34 \pm 0.25_{\rm stat.} \pm 0.23_{\rm syst.}) \times 10^{-3}$. This result shows a $2σ$ discrepancy from the theoretical calculation quoted in the PDG, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. In addition to the branching fraction, the transition magnetic moment $μ$ is determined to be $(1.74 \pm 0.03_{\rm stat.} \pm 0.09_{\rm syst.})\,μ_N$, where $μ_N=e/(2m_p)$ represents the nucleon magnetic moment, providing valuable insight into the intrinsic structure of the $Σ^0$ hyperon.

Multi-Granularity Sentiment Integration for LLM-Based Multimodal Sentiment Analysis

Multimodal sentiment analysis (MSA) aims to predict sentiment polarity and intensity from heterogeneous inputs such as text, audio, and vision. While large language models (LLMs) offer strong semantic priors for MSA, effectively incorporating audio and visual signals effectively remains challenging. A key challenge is that audio and visual sentiment cues evolve over different temporal scales, yet many LLM-based methods compress these signals through shallow projection or coarse pooling before fusing them with text, which can weaken cross-modal alignment and erase fine-grained affective information. We propose MGSI, a multi-granularity sentiment integration framework for LLM-based MSA. MGSI first encodes audio and visual streams at short-, medium-, and long-range temporal scales, preserving both local variations and global affective trends. It then refines non-text features through text-guided alignment, and applies polarity- and intensity-aware enhancement to better handle ambiguous and near-neutral samples. The resulting multimodal representation is finally compressed into a small set of pseudo-tokens for efficient conditioning of a frozen LLM. Experiments on four public benchmarks show that MGSI substantially outperforms frozen-LLM baselines and remains competitive with strong multimodal methods. Further ablation and sensitivity analyses support the effectiveness of multi-granularity temporal modeling, text-guided refinement, and adaptive sentiment calibration.

First measurements of the branching fractions of $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686) \to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0}η$

Based on $(10087 \pm 44) \times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ and $(2712 \pm 14) \times 10^6$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the hadronic decays $J/ψ\to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0} η$ and $ψ(3686) \to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0} η$ are observed for the first time. The corresponding branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0}η)= (7.5 \pm 0.3 \pm 0.8) \times 10^{-5}$ and $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686) \to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0}η)= (1.3\pm 0.1 \pm 0.1) \times 10^{-5}$, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical, and the second systematic. The ratio $\text{Q} \approx \frac{\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686) \to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0} η)}{\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to Σ^{0} \barΣ^{0} η)}$ is determined to be $(17.3 \pm 1.5 \pm 1.7)\%$, which is con sistent with the 12\%-rule within 3.0$σ$.~No significant intermediate states or threshold enhancements are observed in the $Σ^0$($\barΣ^{0}$)$η$ and $Σ^0$$\barΣ^{0}$ invariant mass spectra.

Model the Edit, Not the Image: Visual Autoregressive Editing from a Source-Centric Perspective

Next-scale visual autoregressive models (VARs) have emerged as a powerful generative paradigm, producing high-quality images through efficient coarse-to-fine prediction. However, their potential for text-guided image editing remains largely underexplored. Existing training-free VAR editing approaches often formulate editing as target-conditioned regeneration guided or constrained by the source image, and may rely on inversion, test-time optimization, attention control, or user-provided masks. This generation-centric formulation does not fully exploit the multiscale source representations provided by VARs and may introduce additional computation or intervention. We instead take a source-centric perspective on VAR editing, in which the encoded source image tokens serve as the primary visual state and the editing process focuses on condition-induced changes. Based on this perspective, we propose \textbf{EditMod}, which compares source- and target-conditioned predictions under a shared autoregressive context, treats their difference as a scale-wise editing direction, and applies it as a residual update to source tokens at selected scales. Experiments show that EditMod achieves leading source-image fidelity while maintaining strong text alignment, and completes end-to-end editing of a 1K image in only 1.57 seconds on a single A100 GPU without per-image preparation.

High-precision measurement of the space-like $η^\prime$ transition form factor

Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $20.3\ \text{fb}^{-1}$, collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of $3.773\ \text{GeV}$ at the BEPCII collider, we report a precision measurement of the product $Q^2|F(Q^2)|$, where $F(Q^2)$ is the single-virtual space-like transition form factor of the $η'$ meson and $Q^2$ is the squared momentum transfer of the tagged virtual photon. The transition form factor is extracted from the differential Born cross section of the two-photon fusion processes $e^+e^- \to e^+e^-γγ^* \to e^+e^-η^\prime$ using a single-tag technique, where only one scattered lepton is detected. The measurement covers $Q^2 \in [0.1, 6.0]$ GeV$^2$, achieving unprecedented precision, better than $3.0\%$ for $Q^2 < 1.5$ GeV$^2$, and providing the first direct determination at $Q^2 < 0.3$ GeV$^2$.

RankByGene: Gene-Guided Histopathology Representation Learning Through Cross-Modal Ranking Consistency

Spatial transcriptomics (ST) provides essential spatial context by mapping gene expression within tissue, enabling detailed study of cellular heterogeneity and tissue organization. However, aligning ST data with histology images poses challenges due to inherent spatial distortions and modality-specific variations. Existing methods largely rely on direct alignment, which often fails to capture complex cross-modal relationships. To address these limitations, we propose a novel framework that aligns gene and image features using a ranking-based alignment loss, preserving relative similarity across modalities and enabling robust multi-scale alignment. To further enhance the alignment's stability, we employ self-supervised knowledge distillation with a teacher-student network architecture, which serves as an intra-modal stability regularizer that prevents image-representation drift during cross-modal alignment. Extensive experiments on seven public datasets that encompass gene expression prediction, slide-level classification, and survival analysis demonstrate the efficacy of our method, showing improved alignment and predictive performance over existing methods. Code is available at https://github.com/winston52/RankByGene.

Observation of $Λ^+_c\to nπ^+η$ and search for $Λ^+_c\to na_0(980)^+$

By analysing 6.1 ${\rm fb}^{-1}$ of data collected at center-of-mass energies between $\sqrt{s}=4.600$ and 4.843 $\rm GeV$ with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we observe the decay $Λ_c^+\to nπ^+η$ for the first time with a statistical significance of $9.5σ$. The ratio of branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to nπ^+η)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to Λπ^+η)$ is measured to be $0.155\pm0.031_{\rm stat.}\pm0.012_{\rm syst.}$ Taking the world average of $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to Λπ^+η)$ as reference, the absolute branching fraction is calculated to be $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to nπ^+η)=(2.94\pm0.59_{\rm stat.}\pm0.23_{\rm syst.}\pm0.13_{\rm ref.})\times10^{-3}$. The intermediate process $Λ_c^+\to na_0(980)^+$ is also searched for in the $π^+η$ invariant mass spectrum. Since no significant signal is found, the upper limit on $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to na_0(980)^+)\times\mathcal{B}(a_0(980)^+\toπ^+η)$ is set to $8.4\times10^{-4}$ at 90\% confidence level. A sophisticated deep learning approach using a Transformer-based architecture is employed to distinguish signals from prevalent hadronic backgrounds, complemented by thorough validation and systematic uncertainty quantification.

SG-Layout: Structured Scene Graph-Guided Layout Generation with LLMs

Understanding and generating spatially coherent layouts from natural language remains a fundamental yet challenging task for large language models (LLMs). Existing LLMs often struggle to capture explicit geometric relationships and structural dependencies between objects. To address this issue, we propose SG-Layout, a graph-guided layout generation framework that explicitly incorporates structured spatial knowledge into LLMs. SG-Layout follows a two-stage training paradigm: (1) a graph-language feature alignment stage, where a relational graph encoder and a projector are trained to map scene-graph embeddings into the LLM's linguistic space; and (2) an instruction tuning stage, where LoRA-based adapters enable efficient fine-tuning for instruction-driven layout generation while keeping the backbone frozen. We evaluate SG-Layout on image layout generation, indoor scene synthesis and robotic object rearrangement tasks. Experimental results show that SG-Layout improves spatial reasoning accuracy and geometric consistency over the compact open-source backbone, with particularly clear advantages in relation-dense and compositionally complex scenes. These results highlight the effectiveness of graph-structured feature alignment for enhancing controllable layout generation.

ToolRec: Calibrated Preference Alignment for Query Recommendation in On-Device Assistants

Large Language Models (LLMs) have significantly advanced generative query recommendation. However, while alignment is crucial for tailoring LLMs to human preferences, existing alignment methods primarily focus on standard chatbot scenarios, falling short in on-device intelligent assistants where users predominantly expect the rapid invocation of system-level tools. Moreover, directly aligning LLMs with real-world click logs introduces severe noise due to varying user activity levels and the failure to emphasize execution-oriented queries. To address these challenges, we propose ToolRec, a calibrated preference alignment framework tailored for on-device query recommendation. To ground query recommendation with executable tools, we first construct SysToolKit, a comprehensive repository of 708 system tools, paired with a context-aware tool retrieval mechanism to ensure that the extracted tools closely match the user's intent. A dual-level calibration mechanism is then proposed to refine raw click data, effectively mitigating user behavioral noise by calibrating signals based on user activity (user-level), while simultaneously up-weighting click signals on tool-invoking queries (system-level). Guided by these refined preference signals, we then align the model using a sample-level weighted Kahneman-Tversky Optimization (KTO). Extensive online A/B tests on our mobile assistant platform OPPO Xiaobu, which has over 150 million monthly active users, demonstrate that ToolRec can significantly improve Click-Through Rate (CTR) and total click volume over strong baselines while maintaining high query relevance.

Towards Faithful Sentimental Image Captioning via Evidence-Aware Multi-Agent Reasoning

Sentimental Image Captioning (SIC) requires balancing emotional expression with visual fidelity. Existing methods often struggle with this trade-off, leading to hallucinations due to insufficient local grounding and the lack of sentimental verification mechanisms. To address these limitations, we propose SEA-Cap, a Sentiment-Evidence-Aware Multi-Agent System for faithful and evidence-grounded sentimental image captioning. SEA-Cap incorporates a Sentiment Evidence Miner that extracts structured, local affective cues to shift sentiment control from global attributes to verifiable object-level evidence. Leveraging this evidence, our framework orchestrates a collaborative workflow where a Generator, Hallucination Checker, and Arbitrator iteratively refine captions via a shared blackboard. By explicitly auditing generated content against mined visual evidence, SEA-Cap ensures both sentiment accuracy and factual consistency. Extensive experiments on two benchmark datasets demonstrate that SEA-Cap effectively mitigates hallucinations and achieves state-of-the-art performance.
