CLT and MDP for McKean-Vlasov SDEs

Under a Lipschitz condition on distribution dependent coefficients, the central limit theorem and the moderate deviation principle are obtained for solutions of McKean-Vlasov type stochastic differential equations, which extend from the corresponding results for classical stochastic differential equations to the distribution dependent setting.

Weak convergence of path-dependent SDEs driven by fractional Brownian motion with irregular coefficients

In this paper, by using Girsanov's transformation and the property of the corresponding reference stochastic differential equations, we investigate weak existence and uniqueness of solutions and weak convergence of Euler-Maruyama scheme to stochastic functional differential equations with Hölder continuous drift driven by fractional Brownian motion with Hurst index $H\in (1/2,1)$.

Multilevel Monte Carlo theta EM scheme for SDDEs with small noise

In this paper, a multilevel Monte Carlo theta EM scheme is provided for stochastic differential delay equations with small noise. Under a global Lipschitz condition, the variance of two coupled paths is derived. Then, the global Lipschitz condition is replaced by one-sided Lipschitz condition, in order to guarantee the moment finiteness of numerical scheme, a modified multilevel Monte Carlo theta EM scheme is put forward and the second moment of two coupled paths is estimated.

Comparison Theorem for Distribution Dependent Neutral SFDEs

In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of strong solutions to distribution dependent neutral SFDEs are proved. We give the conditions such that the order preservation of these equations holds. Moreover, we show these conditions are also necessary when the coefficients are continuous. Under sufficient conditions, the result extends the one in the distribution independent case, and the necessity of these conditions is new even in distribution independent case.

Limit Theorems for Additive Functionals of Path-Dependent SDEs

By using limit theorems of uniform mixing Markov processes and martingale difference sequences, the strong law of large numbers, central limit theorem, and the law of iterated logarithm are established for additive functionals of path-dependent stochastic differential equations.

Dynamical Behaviors of the Tumor-immune System in a Stochastic Environment

This paper investigates dynamic behaviors of the tumor-immune system perturbed by environmental noise. The model describes the response of the cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) to the growth of an immunogenic tumour. The main methods are stochastic Lyapunov analysis, comparison theorem for stochastic differential equations (SDEs) and strong ergodicity theorem. Firstly, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution for the tumor-immune system. Then we go a further step to study the boundaries of moments for tumor cells and effector cells and the asymptotic behavior in the boundary equilibrium points. Furthermore, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of stationary distribution and stochastic permanence of the tumor-immune system. Finally, we give several examples and numerical simulations to verify our results.

Stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion with locally Lipschitiz drift and their Euler approximation

In this paper, we study a class of one-dimensional stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H>\ff 1 2$. The drift term of the equation is locally Lipschitz and unbounded in the neighborhood of $0$. We show the existence, uniqueness and positivity of the solutions. The estimations of moments, including the negative power moments, are given. Based on these estimations, strong convergence of the positivity preserving drift-implicit Euler-type scheme is proved, and optimal convergence rate is obtained. By using Lamperti transformation, we show that our results can be applied to interest rate models such as mean-reverting stochastic volatility model and strongly nonlinear Aït-Sahalia type model.

Stability of regime-switching processes under perturbation of transition rate matrices

This work is concerned with the stability of regime-switching processes under the perturbation of the transition rate matrices. From the viewpoint of application, two kinds of perturbations are studied: the size of the transition rate matrix is fixed, and only the values of entries are perturbed; the values of entries and the size of the transition matrix are all perturbed. Moreover, both regular and irregular coefficients of the underlying system are investigated, which clarifies the impact of the regularity of the coefficients on the stability of the underlying system.

Asymptotic Log-Harnack Inequality and Applications for Stochastic Systems of Infinite Memory

The asymptotic log-Harnack inequality is established for several different models of stochastic differential systems with infinite memory: non-degenerate SDEs, Neutral SDEs, semi-linear SPDEs, and stochastic Hamiltonian systems. As applications, the following properties are derived for the associated segment Markov semigroups: asymptotic heat kernel estimate; uniqueness of the invariant probability measure; asymptotic gradient estimate and hence, asymptotically strong Feller property; and asymptotic irreducibilty.

Ergodicity for Neutral Type SDEs with Infinite Length of Memory

In this paper, the weak Harris theorem developed in \cite{HMS11} is illustrated by using a straightforward Wasserstein coupling, which implies the exponential ergodicity of the functional solutions to a range of neutral type SDEs with infinite length of memory. A concrete example is presented to illustrate the main result.

A note on strong convergence of implicit scheme for SDEs under local one-sided Lipschitz conditions

Under a local one-sided Lipschitz condition, Krylov [KR] proved the existence and uniqueness of the strong solutions for stochastic differential equations by using the Euler-Maruyama approximation, where he showed that the sequence of numerical solutions converges to the true solution in probability as the stepsize tends to zero. In this note, we shall extend the results in [KR] and investigate an implicit numerical scheme for these equations under a local one-sided Lipschitz condition.

Invariant Measures for Path-Dependent Random Diffusions

In this work, we are concerned with existence and uniqueness of invariant measures for path-dependent random diffusions and their time discretizations. The random diffusion here means a diffusion process living in a random environment characterized by a continuous time Markov chain. Under certain ergodic conditions, we show that the path-dependent random diffusion enjoys a unique invariant probability measure and converges exponentially to its equilibrium under the Wasserstein distance. Also, we demonstrate that the time discretization of the path-dependent random diffusion involved admits a unique invariant probability measure and shares the corresponding ergodic property when the stepsize is sufficiently small. During this procedure, the difficulty arose from the time-discretization of continuous time Markov chain has to be deal with, for which an estimate on its exponential functional is presented.

Convergence rates of theta-method for neutral SDDEs under non-globally Lipschitz continuous coefficients

This paper is concerned with strong convergence and almost sure convergence for neutral stochastic differential delay equations under non-globally Lipschitz continuous coefficients. Convergence rates of $θ$-EM schemes are given for these equations driven by Brownian motion and pure jumps respectively, where the drift terms satisfy locally one-sided Lipschitz conditions, and diffusion coefficients obey locally Lipschitz conditions, and the corresponding coefficients are highly nonlinear with respect to the delay terms.

Two-time-scale stochastic partial differential equations driven by $α$-stable noises: Averaging principles

This paper focuses on stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) under two-time-scale formulation. Distinct from the work in the existing literature, the systems are driven by $α$-stable processes with $α\in(1,2)$. In addition, the SPDEs are either modulated by a continuous-time Markov chain with a finite state space or have an addition fast jump component. The inclusion of the Markov chain is for the needs of treating random environment, whereas the addition of the fast jump process enables the consideration of discontinuity in the sample paths of the fast processes. Assuming either a fast changing Markov switching or an additional fast-varying jump process, this work aims to obtain the averaging principles for such systems. There are several distinct difficulties. First, the noise is not square integrable. Second, in our setup, for the underlying SPDE, there is only a unique mild solution and as a result, there is only mild Itô's formula that can be used. Moreover, another new aspect is the addition of the fast regime switching and the addition of the fast varying jump processes in the formulation, which enlarges the applicability of the underlying systems. To overcome these difficulties, a semigroup approach is taken. Under suitable conditions, it is proved that the $p$th moment convergence takes place with $p\in(1,α)$, which is stronger than the usual weak convergence approaches.
