Generalized Fermi-Dirac Distribution of Exclusive Fermions

A system of exclusive fermions occurs when two fermions of opposite spin are prohibited from occupying the same quantum level. We derive the distribution of exclusive fermions via the employment of the grand canonical ensemble. Salient features of its statistical properties, compared to the free electron gases, include: larger Fermi energy, higher degeneracy pressure, but the same Pauli paramagnetism and Landau diamagnetism. In particular, higher degeneracy pressure leads to an inflation of the Chandrasekhar limit to 1.6 times when applied to white dwarf stars and neutron stars.

On Darboux-Bäcklund Transformations for the Q-Deformed Korteweg-de Vries Hierarchy

We study Darboux-Bäcklund transformations (DBTs) for the $q$-deformed Korteweg-de Vries hierarchy by using the $q$-deformed pseudodifferential operators. We identify the elementary DBTs which are triggered by the gauge operators constructed from the (adjoint) wave functions of the hierarchy. Iterating these elementary DBTs we obtain not only $q$-deformed Wronskian-type but also binary-type representations of the tau-function to the hierarchy.

On the energy of a charged dilaton black hole

Employing energy-momentum pseudotensor of Einstein, we obtian the energy distribution of a dyonic dilaton black hole. The energy distribution of this black hole depends on mass $ M $, electric charge $ Q_{e} $, magnetic charge $ Q_{m} $ and asymptotic values of the dilaton $ ϕ_{0} $. We also mmake some comparisons between the results of Virbhadra et. al. and ours.

The Post-Newtonian Limit of Dilaton Gravity

We study the post-Newtonian limit of a generalized dilaton gravity in which gravity is coupled to dilaton and eletromagnetic fields. The field equations are derived using the post-Newtonian scheme, and the approximate solution is presented for a point mass with electric and dilaton charges. The result indicates that the dilaton effect can be detected, in post-Newtonian level, using a charged test particle but not a neutral one. We have also checked that the approximate solution is indeed consistent with the weak field expansion of charged dilaton black hole solution in the harmonic coordinate.

Stability Analysis of a Stringy Black Hole

We investigate the stability of charged black holes in two-dimensional heterotic string theories that were recently discussed by McGuidan, Nappi and Yost. In the framework of small time-dependent perturbation, we find that these black holes are linearly stable.
