Parton distributions in the shockwave formalism

In this work, we calculate a broad class of parton distributions - including parton distribution functions (PDFs), transverse-momentum-dependent distributions (TMDs), generalized parton distributions (GPDs), generalized transverse-momentum-dependent distributions (GTMDs), and diffractive parton distributions - directly from their operator-level definition in the shockwave approximation for the target nucleon. This approximation is valid in the high-energy limit of scattering, corresponding to the small-$x$ regime. The shockwave framework allows us to employ the eikonal approximation and express the parton distributions in terms of Wilson-line correlators, naturally formulated within the color-glass condensate effective field theory. We present a comprehensive set of Feynman rules for evaluating parton distributions in this limit, and demonstrate how they can be systematically applied to calculate all phenomenologically relevant leading-twist parton distributions at leading order. This work establishes a unified starting point for future studies that aim to bridge the color-glass condensate approach with the partonic description of the nucleon.

Matching collinear factorization with color-glass condensate for inclusive and exclusive deep inelastic scattering

Collinear factorization and color-glass condensate (CGC) effective field theory are generally treated as separate approaches for calculating scattering amplitudes, valid in different kinematic regimes. For deep inelastic scattering at high photon virtuality and high center-of-mass energy, however, both of these approaches should be applicable. By expressing collinear parton distributions and generalized parton distributions in the shockwave approximation, we show that the resulting collinear-factorization amplitudes exactly reproduce the large-$Q^2$ expansion of CGC amplitudes for inclusive deep inelastic scattering, deeply virtual Compton scattering, and deeply virtual meson production. The matching holds directly at the amplitude level and includes both logarithmically enhanced and finite contributions. Our results establish the consistency between collinear factorization and the CGC in their common region of validity, clarify the origin of large momentum logarithms within the CGC framework, and provide a path toward combining high-energy and collinear evolution in a unified description of hadronic structure at small $x$ and large momentum scales.

Two-loop QCD-corrections to $e^{+} e^{-} \rightarrow Z^{\ast} \rightarrow \boldsymbol{J /ψ}+\boldsymbol{J/ ψ}$

We present a next-to-next-to-leading-order calculation within the nonrelativistic QCD framework for the process of $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow Z^{\ast} \rightarrow J/ψ+J/ψ$ . We find that the NNLO contribution is 2-3 times larger than the next-to-leading-order contribution, which itself is already 3-5 times larger than the leading-order result. In the high-energy limit, we provide analytic expressions for the leading-power coefficients in the asymptotic expansion of the two-loop amplitudes. Our results are directly applicable to the bottomonium process $Z^{\ast} \rightarrow Υ+Υ$. Using the obtained hadronic amplitudes, we predict the decay width of the $Z$ boson into these rare di-charmonium and di-bottomonium final states.

Single-inclusive hadron production in electron-positron annihilation at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD

Single-inclusive hadron production in electron-positron annihilation (SIA) represents the cleanest process for investigating the dynamics of parton hadronization, as encapsulated in parton fragmentation functions. In this letter, we present, for the first time, the analytical computation of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) corrections to the coefficient functions for SIA at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N$^3$LO) accuracy, achieving the highest precision to date for hadron production processes. Utilizing the BaBar measurement as a benchmark, we assess the phenomenological implications of this high-precision calculation. Our findings demonstrate a substantial reduction in scale uncertainties at N$^3$LO and offer an improved description of the experimental data compared to lower-order calculations. This advancement underscores the importance of higher-order corrections in achieving a more accurate understanding of hadronization processes.

Analytical two-loop amplitudes of $e^{+} e^{-} \longrightarrow \boldsymbol{J} / \boldsymbolψ+\boldsymbolη_c$ at $B$ factories

In double charmonium production, a long-standing challenge is that the theoretical predictions are not consistent with the measurements at B factories. Within the NRQCD framework, the next-to-leading order (NLO) calculation has proved its power to cut down the discrepancy between theory and experiments. To further clarify this puzzle, we have performed the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculation. The amplitude is obtained as an analytical asymptotic expansion in the ratio of the squared charm-quark mass over the squared center-of-mass energy, $m_c^2/s$. We investigate the origin of the leading logarithms by performing a region analysis, revealing the intricate factorization structure in this process. We provide numerical predictions on the total cross sections of $J/ψ+η_c$ production, which agree with the experimental results. Extension of our computation to $Υ+η_b$ production is also discussed.

Heavy-quark pair production at lepton colliders at NNNLO in QCD

We compute the total cross-section and invariant mass distribution for heavy-quark pair production in $e^+e^-$ annihilation at the next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD. The obtained results are expressed as piecewise functions defined by several deeply expanded power series, facilitating a rapid numerical evaluation. Utilizing top-pair production at a collision energy of 500 GeV as a benchmark, we observe a correction of approximately $0.1\%$ for the total cross-section and around $10\%$ for the majority of the invariant mass distribution range. These results play a crucial role in significantly reducing theoretical uncertainty: the scale dependence has been diminished to $0.06\%$ for the total cross-section and to $5\%$ for the invariant mass distribution. This reduction of uncertainty meets the stringent requirements of future lepton colliders.

Complete two-loop electroweak corrections to $e^+e^-\rightarrow HZ$

We compute the complete two-loop electroweak corrections to the Higgsstralung process $e^+e^-\rightarrow HZ$ at the future Higgs factory. The Feynman integrals involved in the computation are decomposed into linear combinations of a minimal set of master integrals taking advantage of the recent developments of integral reduction techniques. The master integrals are then evaluated by differential equations with boundary conditions provided by the auxiliary mass flow method. Our final result for given $\sqrt{s}$ is expressed as a piecewise function defined by several deeply expanded power series, which has high precision and can be further manipulated efficiently. Our calculation presents the first complete two-loop electroweak corrections for processes with four external particles.
