QCD Sum Rules for The Double Ratio $(f_{B_s}/f_{B_d}) /(f_{D_s}/f_{D_d})$ in HQET

The double ratio $(f_{B_s}/f_{B_d})/(f_{D_s}/f_{D_d})$ is calculated by QCD sum rules in heavy quark effective theory (HQET), both numerically and analytically. Our expression for the double ratio shows explicitly the dependence on the light quark masses, the heavy quark symmetry breaking and the vacuum condensates. The numerical result favors the double ratio to be a little greater than 1.

Light Flavor Dependence of the Isgur-Wise Function

We present an investigation on the ligh flavor dependence of the Isgur-Wise function for $B_a\rightarrow D_a$ and $B_a\rightarrow D^{*}_a$ in the framework of QCD sum rules. It is found that the Isgur-Wise function for $B_s$ decay falls faster than that for $B_{u,d}$ decay , which is just contrary to the recent prediction of the heavy meson chiral perturbation theory. SU(3) symmetry breaking effects in the mass and the decay constant are also estimated.

Light Quark Dependence of the Isgur-Wise Function from QCD Sum rules

We study light quark dependence of the Isgur-Wise function for $B_a\rightarrow D_a$ and $B_a\rightarrow D^{*}_a$ in the framework of QCD sum rules. At zero recoil , all the Isgur-Wise functions equal as required by heavy quark symmetry and at non-zero recoil, the Isgur-Wise function for $B_s$ decay falls faster than that for $B_{u,d}$ decay , which is just contrary to the recent prediction of the heavy meson chiral perturbation theory. As by-products, we also estimate SU(3) breaking effects in the mass and the decay constant.
