Semantic-Guided Fusion Network for Multi-Source Remote Sensing Image Classification

Multi-source remote sensing image classification has attracted increasing attention due to the complementary spectral, structural, and geometric information. However, existing methods still suffer from two limitations: insufficient semantic contextual modeling and unreliable feature fusion caused by slight spatial misalignment. To address these issues, we propose a Semantic-Guided Fusion Network (SGFNet) for multi-source remote sensing image classification. Specifically, the Semantic Mixing Convolution Block (SMCB) is designed to dynamically generate semantic-aware convolution kernels according to contextual relationships among feature representations. In addition, the Frequency Modulated Fusion Block (FMFB) is introduced to perform cross-modal interaction in the frequency domain, which effectively alleviates the influence of slight spatial misalignment and improves complementary information fusion. Extensive experiments conducted on the Augsburg and Houston 2018 datasets demonstrate that the proposed SGFNet consistently outperforms several state-of-the-art methods. The codes are publicly available at https://github.com/oucailab/SGFNet .

Dual-Branch State-Displacement Network for Sea Surface Temperature Super-Resolution

Sea surface temperature (SST) is a critical indicator of global climate change, yet satellite-derived SST imagery often suffers from coarse spatial resolution, limiting the ability to capture fine-scale thermal structures such as ocean fronts. To address this, we propose a Dual-Branch State-Displacement Network (DBSD-Net) for SST super-resolution. DBSD-Net adopts a dual-branch architecture: a wavelet frequency branch that explicitly separates low and high-frequency components via discrete wavelet transform for targeted processing, and a VGGUNet branch that extracts multi-scale semantic features from a frozen pre-trained VGG backbone. Within the wavelet branch, we introduce a Structural State Space Module (SSSM) with a Gated Structure Refinement (GSR) unit to efficiently capture long-range dependencies and enhance structural integrity, and a Displacement Gate Module (DGM) that learns a displacement field for geometry-aware modulation of high-frequency details, thereby mitigating spatially varying degradation. Experiments on multiple public SST datasets demonstrate that DBSD-Net outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods.

Synthetic Aperture Radar Image Change Detection Based on Global Dynamic Context-Aware Network

Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have been extensively and successfully applied to the task of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image change detection. However, conventional convolutional layers are inherently limited by their local receptive fields, which mainly capture spatially localized patterns while neglecting the global context that is often crucial for accurately distinguishing subtle or large-scale changes in SAR imagery. To address these limitations, we propose a novel Global Dynamic Context-Aware Network (GDNet) specifically tailored for SAR image change detection. At the core of our approach lies a novel global dynamic convolution module, which adaptively modulates convolution kernel weights according to the global semantic information extracted from the input features. By dynamically incorporating long-range dependencies, this mechanism enables the network to integrate both local detail and global context, thus improving its ability to detect diverse change patterns. In addition, we introduce a carefully designed two-stage Mixup strategy for model training. Unlike conventional single-stage Mixup, our two-stage design generates more diverse and informative training samples, effectively regularizing the model and yielding more stable and reliable classification results even under limited data scenarios. Extensive experiments on three SAR datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed GDNet compared to other state-of-the-art methods. These findings highlight the potential of global dynamic modeling and advanced data augmentation strategies for advancing SAR image interpretation. Representative Spectral Correlation Network for Multi-source Remote Sensing Image Classification

Hyperspectral image (HSI) and SAR/LiDAR data offer complementary spectral and structural information for land-cover classification. However, their effective fusion remains challenging due to two major limitations: The spectral redundancy in high-dimensional HSI and the heterogeneous characteristics between multi-source data. To this end, we propose Representative Spectral Correlation Network (RSCNet), a novel multi-source image classification framework specifically designed to address the above challenges through spectral selection and adaptive interaction. The network incorporates two key components: (1) Key Band Selection Module (KBSM) that adaptively selects task-relevant spectral bands from the original HSI under cross-source guidance, thereby alleviating redundancy and mitigating information loss from conventional PCA-based spectral reduction. Moreover, the learned band subset exhibits highly discriminative spectral structures that align with discriminative semantic cues, promoting compact yet expressive representations. (2) Cross-source Adaptive Fusion Module (CAFM) that performs cross-source attention weighting and local-global contextual refinement to enhance cross-source feature interaction. Experiments on three public benchmark datasets demonstrate that our RSCNet achieves superior performance compared with state-of-the-art methods, while maintaining substantially lower computational complexity. Our codes are publicly available at https://github.com/oucailab/RSCNet.

Prototype-Based Information Compensation Network for Multi-Source Remote Sensing Data Classification

Multi-source remote sensing data joint classification aims to provide accuracy and reliability of land cover classification by leveraging the complementary information from multiple data sources. Existing methods confront two challenges: inter-frequency multi-source feature coupling and inconsistency of complementary information exploration. To solve these issues, we present a Prototype-based Information Compensation Network (PICNet) for land cover classification based on HSI and SAR/LiDAR data. Specifically, we first design a frequency interaction module to enhance the inter-frequency coupling in multi-source feature extraction. The multi-source features are first decoupled into high- and low-frequency components. Then, these features are recoupled to achieve efficient inter-frequency communication. Afterward, we design a prototype-based information compensation module to model the global multi-source complementary information. Two sets of learnable modality prototypes are introduced to represent the global modality information of multi-source data. Subsequently, cross-modal feature integration and alignment are achieved through cross-attention computation between the modality-specific prototype vectors and the raw feature representations. Extensive experiments on three public datasets demonstrate the significant superiority of our PICNet over state-of-the-art methods. The codes are available at https://github.com/oucailab/PICNet.
