Chern character of Schur bundles

Given a vector bundle $E$, we give an explicit formula to compute Chern classes of Schur bundles $\operatorname{S}^\alpha E$ in terms of those of $E$.

The SYZ conjecture for singular moduli spaces of sheaves on K3 surfaces

In this paper we prove the SYZ conjecture for irreducible symplectic varieties that are locally trivial deformation equivalent to moduli spaces of sheaves on K3 surfaces. As an intermediate step in the argument, we generalise to the singular setting a result of Kamenova--Verbitsky and Matsushita about moduli spaces of lagrangian fibrations of primitive symplectic varieties. Two further corollaries are also presented: the computation of the Huybrechts--Riemann--Roch polynomial and of the polarisation type of this kind of symplectic varieties.

Deformations of twisted sheaves and formality results

We show that infinitesimal deformations of twisted sheaves are controlled by the DG Lie algebra of their derived automorphisms. We prove that such DG Lie algebra is formal for polystable twisted sheaves on minimal surfaces of Kodaira dimension 0 and for projectively hyper-holomorphic locally free twisted sheaves on hyper-K\"ahler manifolds.

A plethystic chain rule

We consider a derivation $\mathsf{D}$ on the ring $\Lambda$ of symmetric functions and investigate its combinatorial, algebraic and geometric properties. More precisely, we show that $\mathsf{D}$ restricts to a quasi-isometry, with respect to the Hall product, on the graded component of $\Lambda$ of each positive degree and provide a chain-rule formula with respect to the plethysm operation. Furthermore, we relate the geometry of the Schur functions supporting $\mathsf{D}(f)$, where $f\in \Lambda$ is an homogeneous symmetric function, to that of $f$.

Higher discriminants of vector bundles and Schur functors

We prove some closed formulas for the logarithmic Chern character of a locally free sheaf. The argument used is representation-theoretic and we connect these formulas with the actions of some Casimir elements of $\mathfrak{sl}_r$. As an application, we give a recipe to construct slope polystable modular bundles on hyper-K\"ahler manifolds from old ones.

Modular vector bundles with and without moduli

If $X\subset\operatorname{Gr}(2,6)$ is the Fano variety of lines of a smooth cubic fourfold, then we show that the restriction to $X$ of any Schur functor of the tautological quotient bundle is modular and slope polystable. Moreover it is atomic if and only if it is rigid, in which case it is also slope stable. We further compute the Ext-groups of such bundles in infinitely many cases, showing in particular the existence of new modular vector bundles on manifolds of type $\operatorname{K3}^{[2]}$ that are slope stable and whose $\operatorname{Ext}^1$-group is 40-dimensional.

Symplectic rigidity of O'Grady's tenfolds

We prove that any symplectic automorphism of finite order of an irreducible holomorphic symplectic manifold of O'Grady's 10-dimensional deformation type is trivial.

Locally trivial monodromy of moduli spaces of sheaves on K3 surfaces

In this paper we study monodromy operators on moduli spaces $M_v(S,H)$ of sheaves on K3 surfaces with non-primitive Mukai vectors $v$. If we write $v=mw$, with $m>1$ and $w$ primitive, then our main result is that the inclusion $M_w(S,H)\to M_v(S,H)$ as the most singular locus induces an isomorphism between the monodromy groups of these symplectic varieties, allowing us to extend to the non-primitive case a result of Markman.

On the period of Li, Pertusi and Zhao's symplectic variety

We extend classical results of Perego and Rapagnetta on moduli spaces of sheaves of type OG10 to moduli spaces of Bridgeland semistable objects on the Kuznetsov component of a cubic fourfold. In particular, we determine the period of this class of varieties and use it to understand when they become birational to moduli spaces of sheaves on a K3 surface.

Hyper-holomorphic connections on vector bundles on hyper-Kähler manifolds

We study infinitesimal deformations of autodual and hyper-holomorphic connections on complex vector bundles on hyper-Kähler manifolds of arbitrary dimension. In particular, we describe the DG Lie algebra controlling this deformation problem. Moreover, we prove associative formality for derived endomorphisms of a holomorphic vector bundle admitting a projectively hyper-holomorphic connection.

Symplectic birational transformations of finite order on O'Grady's sixfolds

We prove that any symplectic automorphism of finite order on a manifold of type OG6 acts trivially on the Beauville--Bogomolov--Fujiki lattice and that any birational transformation of finite order acts trivially on its discriminant group. Moreover, we classify all possible invariant and coinvariant sublattices.
