Mass generation via gravitational confinement of fast neutrinos

We analyze the dependence on neutrino energy of the gravitational attraction between ultrarelativistic neutrinos using Special Relativity and the equivalence principle of inertial and gravitational mass. It is found that when accounting for the special relativistic increase in particle mass with particle speed, then this gravitational force reaches the value of the Strong Force at a neutrino energy of 313 MeV, corresponding to the effective mass of a quark. This force can sustain the rotational motion of self-gravitating neutrino triads or electron/positron-neutrino pairs, and thus lead to the self driven generation of mass, i.e. of hadrons and bosons, the masses of which can be computed with an astonishing precision of 1\% without any adjustable parameters.

Analytical computation of the Mercury perihelion precession via the relativistic gravitational law and comparison with general relativity

Let $r(φ)$ denote the orbit of Mercury. We compare the formulae obtained via general relativity for $r(φ)$ and for the corresponding perihelion precession angle $Δφ$, with the formulae obtained via the relativistic gravitational law, $F=GMmγ^6/r^2$. The latter law can be derived from Newton's gravitational law by employing the gravitational rather than the rest masses of the Sun and Mercury. Remarkably, it is found that the two expressions for the dominant part of $r(φ)$ are identical and that the two expressions for $Δφ$ are also identical.

Relations between the baryon quantum numbers of the Standard Model and of the rotating neutrino model

We discuss the common features between the Standard Model taxonomy of particles, based on electric charge, strangeness and isospin, and the taxonomy emerging from the key structural elements of the rotating neutrino model, which describes baryons as bound states formed by three highly relativistic electrically polarized neutrinos forming a symmetric ring rotating around a central electrically charged or polarized lepton. It is shown that the two taxonomies are fully compatible with each other.

A model of possible gravitational confinement of fast light particles

According to special relativity and the equivalence principle, the Newtonian gravitational force between two particles with relativistic velocities increases significantly with velocity and in fact becomes unbound as the latter approaches c. One may thus construct a deterministic model of three fast rotating light particles which uses gravitation as the attractive force, special relativity, the weak equivalence principle and introduces angular momentum quantization as in the Bohr model of the H atom. The model shows the existence of stable rotational states corresponding to highly relativistic particle velocities with radii in the fm range. When the rest masses of the three light particles is in the mass range of neutrinos (~0.1 eV/c^2), then surprisingly the rest masses and Compton wavelengths of these rotational states are found to correspond to those of baryons and in fact the masses (~1 GeV/c^2) reproduce quite well the light baryon mass spectrum. Interestingly the model also predicts a lower limit for the lifetime of the baryons which is consistent with their measured lifetimes and yields a good approximation for their magnetic moments. It thus appears that this deterministic Bohr-type approach to subatomic phenomena, i.e. a classical special relativistic treatment coupled with the de Broglie wavelength expression to seek conformity with quantum mechanics, may be a useful zeroth-order model to explore some quantum gravity problems.

Electrostatic-gravitational oscillator

We examine the one-dimensional motion of two similarly charged particles under the influence of only two forces, i.e. their Coulombic repulsion and their gravitational attraction, using the relativistic equation of motion. We find that when the rest mass of the two particles is sufficiently small (~ 0.4 eV/c2) and the initial Coulombic potential energy is sufficiently high (~ mpc2, where mp is the proton mass), then the strong gravitational attraction resulting from the relativistic particle velocities suffices to counterbalance the Coulombic repulsion and to cause stable periodic motion of the two particles. The creation of this confined oscillatory state, with a rest mass equal to that of a proton, is shown to be consistent with quantum mechanics by examining the particle de Broglie wavelength and the Klein-Gordon and Schrodinger equations. It is shown that the gravitational constant can be expressed in terms of the proton mass and charge, the vacuum dielectric constant, the Planck constant and the speed of light. It is also shown that gravity can cause confinement of light (~ 0.1 eV/c2) neutral particles (neutrinos), or pairs of a neutral and a charged light particle, in circular orbits of size 0.9 fm and period 10-24 s forming bound neutral or charged hadron states.

Gravitational moduli forces in small nuclei and analytical computation of the Newton constant

The magnitude of gravity at subatomic distances was investigated in the nuclear size range by examining the vibrational kinetic energy of baryons and quarks, treated as waveparticles and strings, in the 4He and 2H nuclei. Due to the relativistic increase in mass and concomitant wave particle confinement at high vibrational energies, it is found that gravitational moduli forces are significant and comparable in size with the strong interaction forces exerted between color quarks. This leads to analytical expressions for the gravitational constant and for the binding energies of the 4He and 2H nuclei in close agreement with experiment.
